Galadriel- Reunited
A/n: requested by ShadowsingerCat time for some girl power!
Centuries had past since the First Age and the defeat of Morgoth. The last thing you remembered of that Age was seeing your family. You had lived with your eldest brother, Finrod, in Nargothrond and were returning home when you were taken. Your brothers and sister spent centuries looking for you, but it was all in vain.
When Morgoth was defeated, his servant, Sauron, had you moved into a prison deep in the mines of Moria. You were there for over four thousand years before the dwarves of Erebor tried to retake Moria. You thought that you would finally be rescued, but it wasn't so. The night after the battle, you cried yourself to sleep. "Have they truly forgotten me," you thought as you drifted off to sleep.
It wasn't until the Fellowship of the Ring came into the Mines, that you felt hope again. You banged on the door of your cell, praying to the Valar that someone would hear you. A few moments later, the sound of footsteps drew near. You backed against the wall when the door opened, afraid it was a guard. Instead, a man with brown hair stood in the doorway, an arrow aimed at your heart.
"Please," you said quietly raising both of your hands. "My name is Y/n daughter of Finarfin. You have to help me."
Legolas gasped when he saw you. He had heard tales of the second daughter of Finarfin, and how she had been kidnapped. Many of the Noldor believed you had been dead since the First Age.
Aragorn lowered his bow and bowed to you. You extended your hand from your heart, and took a step forward. The fellowship stood in awe when you emerged from the cell. The Light of the Eldar still shone around you, even though you were held in darkness for thousands of years.
"Who is she," Pippin asked quietly.
"She's an elf," Sam whispered back.
Gandalf smiled. "No, she's one of the High Elves. The first to come to Middle Earth during the First Age. They came to Middle Earth after being exiled here."
Frodo raised an eyebrow. "Banished? For what?"
Gandalf chuckled. "Oh, it is a long tale. One which we do not have time to hear."
After escaping the Mines of Moria, the fellowship stopped to grieve the fall of Gandalf the Grey. You knew the pain they felt, for you lost many friends during the Kinslayings of the First Age. Aragorn had you and Legolas help the company up. Pippin looked up to you, tears in his eyes.
When the fellowship reached the borders of Lothlórien, you felt a calming feeling wash over you. The last time you were here was thousands of years ago. Now, you wondered if your sister, Galadriel, was still alive, or if she had perished during your time in captivity.
"The dwarf breathes so loud, we could've shot him in the dark," a voice said from behind you. You turned around to see the marchwarden, Haldir and his brothers, Rumil and Orophin.
The elves lead you to Caras Galadhon. You look around seeing the memories flashing. You can't help but smile. At the top of the stairs, your sister and brother in law stood. They slowly descended and stood a few feet in front of you.
Galadriel stopped and stared at you for a long time. You could see her blue eyes filling with tears as she stepped closer to you. You moved closer to her. The Lady of Light smiled and hugged you close to her. Your thin body was completely encased in her robes.
"Oh, Y/n. I never thought I would see you again," she cried.
"I missed you so much! I thought you had given up on finding me."
Galadriel shook her golden head. "Never. Our brothers spent every spare moment they had, trying to find you."
Galadriel looked to Celeborn for you both to be excused. He nodded, understanding the situation.
Once you were in a more private setting, your older sister hugged you again. "I was beginning to believe that we would see each other in Valinor."
You nodded. "As did I. Where is Finrod? Surely he must be worried."
Galadriel sighed and explained to you the events after your capture. You cried hearing that all of your brothers and your home had been destroyed. Your sister wrapped her arms around you in a hug, stroking your dry hair.
"Finrod spent more time trying to find you, than anything else."
"I missed you all so much, and now I can't even see them."
Galadriel nodded sadly. "I know. But you have me, little sister. I will look out for you as I should've done years ago."
And she did. When Galadriel sailed into the West, you went with her. The family reunion in Valinor was full of tears, happy tears, and you were thankful to be home again.
