Personality: Straight laced and very much the responsible one of any group you put him in, Ray does his best to make sure everything is running smoothly and no one dies or gets hurt. He has common sense in spades and is a ask questions first, shoot later if at all kind of guy. It's sorta the reason he rose through the ranks of S.H.I.E.L.D so quickly.

He rarely smiles, something his co-workers tease him mercilessly about, though he couldn't care less about what they think. He has a job to do and by all above and below, he's going to do it to the best of his abilities. Though that doesn't mean he doesn't have a sense of humor. It just tends to run more towards sarcasm than actual jokes.

Backstory: Born in Washington DC, Ray had an extremely normal childhood. No trauma, no bullying, no nothing. Okay, maybe he had to deal with people looking at him weirdly from time to time based on the way he looked but he rarely acknowledged it.

After graduating high school, he immediately joined the army, rising through the ranks due to his hard-working personality and good decision making skills. He was soon shifted over to S.H.I.E.L.D when he showed signs of being a good spy.
