How do I let go?
To let go of all the years we've spent
Forget feelings that came and went
Memories shared
Were they all for not?
To you, my heart I bared
But you tossed me aside
And that's when I realized,
You had already let go of me.
So why should I hold onto you?
"Forget the person,
not the memories"
I won't forget how happy you made me
But I won't dwell on how broken you left me.
