When I came into the classroom the next day, everyone was staring at me because of my injuries. When I crutched over to my seat, April and Casey were smiling at me.

"Hey Brianna." April greeted me warmly.

"Hey Bre." Casey added.

"Hey guys. Casey, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I transferred classes so I can be as good as you girls."

"Is it legit April?" I asked her.

"It's legit."

"Okay, so what are you doing April?"

"Oh nothing. Just getting ready to take this quiz on Geometry." April said.

"Yeah. Same here." Casey also said.

"So. You guys are going to see the guys after school?"

"Why do you ask Brianna?" April asked.

"Oh. Leonardo said he'll pick me up after school. Then he asked me if I wanted to hang out with him tonight and do something together."

"Oh. That sounds like fun. I think you guys will have a ball."

"You really think so?"

"Yeah. Leo's a funny person."

"Heh. I think I will have fun."

"Okay class. It's time to take your quizzes." The geometry teacher said to the class.

'Here we go. Today's the day I might fail it. Even though I didn't study.' I thought to myself. When the quizzes were being handed out, I was having a daydream about Leonardo saving my life the first time. But all of it stopped when the quiz was on my desk.

'Whoa... I need to focus on my quiz. Not about Leo or the others now. Well it's a lucky thing I'm going to see them soon.'

*After a few minutes of quiz-taking later...*

"All right class. Let's see who has passed or failed this quiz." The math teacher announced. She started handing back the quizzes to the class.

'Please let me pass, please let me pass, please let me pass!' I was getting worried in my thoughts. Then the teacher handed back my quiz and I ended up getting a 95% on the quiz.

"Congratulations Brianna. I'm so proud of you."

"Thank you." I replied happily. And so on the next few hours, it was already time to go home. Me, April, and Casey were already in front of April's apartment.

"So guys, are ya coming with me and Leo to the lair?" I asked.

"Sorry Brianna. We can't. I have to go upstairs and do something important." April said.

"And I have hockey practice at the ice rink. Sorry Bre." Casey said.

"Oh, okay. I guess I'll go to the lair alone then."

"Sorry Brianna, but we'll see ya later. Alright?"

"Okay guys. I'll see ya later." I said cheerfully. So I waved to the guys and headed into the back alley. Leo was already at the open manhole, he looked happy and I was happy too.

"Hey Leo." I said as I crutched over to him and gave him a hug.

"Hey Brianna. How was school?" He asked me.

"It was better than yesterday." I said cheerfully.

"Good. Shall we get going so you can have story time with Master Splinter?"

"Yes. Yes I am."

"Alright. Let's get going."

So Leonardo opened the manhole and carried Brianna down into the sewers. They got into the Shell Raiser and drove back to the lair.

*A few minutes of driving later...*

"We're here." Leo rang.

"Alright. It's story time!" I said as I was getting off of my seat in the monster vehicle. We headed into the living room and Mikey was playing video games. He got up and approached to us.

"Hey Bre. What's up?"

"Nothing much. I'm just on my way to the dojo so I can listen to Master Splinter's story."

"Hey Bre. Can you teach me how to draw after Splinter's story?"

"Sure. We can start by drawing trees. And then I can teach you how to add in details like light and dark techniques."

"Alright! I can't wait!" He said excitingly. Then he left to play more video games.

"Would you like to have something to snack on when you go to the dojo?" Leo asked.

"Yeah. That sounds nice." I responded.

"Okay. I'll be back with some tea and pizza gyoza. It might take a few minutes."

"Okay. I'll see ya in the dojo." So Leo lead me into the training room and then he left to the kitchen. I slid the dojo door open and the rat teacher was already in front of the bonsai tree. He got up and bowed his head, I did the same.

"Hello Brianna. Welcome back." Sensei said.

"I'm glad to be back here Master Splinter. I'm really excited to hear your story."

"And I am excited to tell the story to you." He said in a proud tone.

"Leo said he will bring me something to eat before you tell me the story."

"That is a great idea my child. While he is making your meal, let's meditate for a few."

"Okay." So Master Splinter sat on the ground. He gave me a pillow to put my leg on, then I put down my crutches and sat down carefully across from him. We both closed our eyes and meditated silently.

Leo's P.O.V.

After I left Brianna with Master Splinter for story time, I went into the kitchen to fix something up for Brianna. While the pizza gyoza was cooking, Donnie came into the kitchen.

"Hey Leo."

"Hey Donnie. What's up?"

"Nothing much." He said while he was grabbing an apple. But then he saw me blushing a hot red.

"Wait a minute, why are you growing red? Is it you or is it getting hot in here?" Donnie asked me.

"Umm... It's nothing Donnie, really."

"Come on man. Spill the beans."

"Okay, okay. I'll tell you, but don't tell the others. Especially Sensei." So Donnie and I took a seat on the dining set and I started telling him something that I was meant to keep for myself.

"Do you know anything about, well winning a girl's heart?"

"Why are you asking me this? Does it have to do something with Karai?"

"No, it's not her I'm talking about. I know this sounds very sudden, but... but..."

"But what Leo?"

"I think I'm falling in love with Brianna." I blurted out. I knew that Donnie was surprised that I told him the truth.

"What do you mean Leo? Are you saying that you liked her ever since we saved her yesterday? And you didn't tell us?"

"Yeah. But it was a while back, when we we're fight off the Foot Clan. When I first saw her, I instantly fell in love with her. I wanted to keep this secret to myself, I was afraid that you guys might laugh at me for falling in love with a girl."

"Hey, it's okay Leo. That's how you were the first time when you've realized that your first crush was known as Karai who was in the Foot Clan. And that she was like our lost sister!" Donnie said.

"I know, I know. But this is different. What a minute, what do ya mean? You fell in love with April the very first day and you still didn't even ask her out yet."

"Well, it's because I'm shy. I wanna wait until the time is right. Wait a minute forget that thought. Can we get back to the topic now?" Donnie asked until the pizza gyoza was done cooking.

"We can talk about this and tonight's plan later Donnie. After Brianna hears Sensei's story." I told him as I left the kitchen with Brianna's meal.
