Morning at the Shergil's

It was an usual morning. All had their breakfast and went for their respective work. Param and Karan had to report to the headquarters today. Monami went to the hospital. Baby had to unwillingly go to school. Barkha was at home as she didn't have any work at the NGO today.

Evening

Param: Karan sun, thoda hospital ki taraf gaadi ghumade.

Karan: Log park ghumne jaate hain, hospital nahi

Param: Karan😐 Monami ko pick karna hai. Uska message aaya tha. Uski gaadi kharab hogayi hai.

Karan: 🙄 mene koi cab service nahi kholi hai. Commando hoon cab driver nahi.

Param: Karan😑

Without any delay, he drove towards the hospital. Monami was standing outside the hospital. She saw Karan's jeep and came towards them.

Monami: Hi bhaiya😊 hi karan🙂

Karan ignored her whereas param smiled back and said,

Param: Aaja beth jaldi.. Warna tu jaanti hai teri bhabhi ko. Late aane pe meri galti bolke mujhe sunayegi.

Monami chuckled and sat in the jeep. Silence prevailed in the jeep. Suddenly Karan's eyes got widened when he saw the rear view mirror.

Karan : (in mind) SHIVAM

Param shook him and asked what happened all of a sudden. Karan nodded in negative. He again looked in the mirror but found none. He continued driving.

All through the route his mind was stuck at what he saw.

Karan: (Kya mene jo dekha wo sach tha.. Kya wo sachme Shivam tha.. Ya yeh sirf mera behem tha. Agar wo shivam tha to hospital me kya karraha tha... Yeh chal kya raha hai)

They reached home. Baby rushed and hugged all three of them..

Baby: Aagaye aap sab. Pata hai me kabse wait karrahi thi sabka.

Mo: Achha.. Kyun.. Itna kyun wait karrahe the aap hamara.

Baby: Wo kya hai na Dr.Chachi kal Sunday hai to me aaj aap sabke saath der raat tak khelne wali hoon.. Aur aap log mana bhi nahi karsakte..

She said the last line by looking at Karan who was going to deny her for playing.

Barkha: Arre hamari dadi amma.. Khel lena. Pehle apne papa air chachu chachi ko fresh to hone de..

Baby: Haan kyun nahi. To Commando Papa, Commando Chachu aur Dr. Chachi. Aapke paas 15min ka samay hai.. Sabko exactly 2200 hrs pe yahan pahunchna hai. Is that clear?

All: Yes maam!

They rushed to their rooms and as per baby's order, they were ready by the given time. All had dinner together and it was time for baby to play with all.

Baby: Suno suno suno! To ab hum khelenge truth and dare. Game ke rules bohut simple hai as you all know. To lets start.

Everyone had to agree. Ab yaar baby ki baat ko koi taal sakta hai kya😂😂

They spinned the bottle and ek ek karke sabki baari aane lagi..

It was Param's turn. He chose truth aur truth puchha hamari Tsunami aur Karan ki Rani Sahiba - Monami ne.

Mo: Bhaiya.. Bhabhi se pehle aapki kitni gfs thi. Sach batana 😝

Param ke to hosh udgaye... Reason? College me dono hi Shergil brothers par ladkiyan fida thi.. Bas ek bhav nahi deta tha. Aur dusra pighal jaata tha😁

Aur pighalne wale Param bhaiya hi the😂

Param: Aaaa..wo.ab... Umm... Ek ..do..

Karan: EK DO 😏🤨

Param: 🤫 (shaant hoja shaitaan kahin ke.. Ek to waise bhi mujhse baat nahi karta par aag lagane me bada maza aata isko)

Barkha: Ahem ahem..
Baby be like aaj to papa ki khair nahi.

Param: 😣 5 the

Everyone shocked😵. Param rocked😎

Barkha: Aapko to me batati hoon baadme.

Moran and baby be like : All the best bhaiya/papa

Aise hi sabka turn aata raha..

Barkha ne truth liya tha. She had to say the most happiest memory of her life. To usne wo moment bataya jab baby paida hui thi..

Baby ko dare mile and she danced on her "Favourite" song😁

Monami had to mimic Baby for 2mins as her dare.

Now it was Karan's turn. Aur bande ko naa chahte hue bhi dare lena pada.. Kyunki hamari chhoti shaitaan baby ne kaha 😁

Baby: To chachu aapka dare hai ki...

Karan: (felt nervous) ki...

Baby: Ki aapko song gaana padega.. Simple😀

Karan loved singing a lot. But after what happened few months back, he didn't touch his guitar too..

Karan: Baby koi aur dare dedo. Mera bilkul man nahi hai gaane ka.

Monami understood his hesitation but didn't say anything.

Baby: Chachu pleeeeeaaaassseee. Please please please please please please plea..

Karan: Achha okay okay. Shaant hojaao meri maa.. Gaata hoon😩

Baby: Yeaaaahhhh🎉😝

Karan brought his guitar and started playing the tune. He started singing the song. Par apne gaane ke beech beech he remembered all the moments he had spent with Kavya..

He remembered the day he had first seen Kavya and had felt something for her.. Something, he had never felt for anyone else..

Karan: Kya hogaya. Ab kyun sada hua sa mun bana rakha hai..

Mo: Yeh shivam.. Pachas baar miss call deraha. Man to karraha hai ki iski jaan lelu.

K: News headlines.. Dr.Monami Mahajan hui violent. Lene chali apne colleague ki jaan.

Mo: Karan ke bache.. Tumhein to me...

They both started running. Karan aage, monu pichhe.

Mo: Karan dekhke takra jaaoge

Too late.. Karan takra gaya. He balanced himself and held the person with whom he had collided, to prevent her from falling.. Monami also witnessed this.

Karan was lost in those beautiful brown eyes. The innocence on her face. Perfect pink lips, curled eyelashes. She looked fabulous even in the most simple attire. She snapped her fingers in front of his face. He came back tk his senses.

Karan: I am sorry.. Me jaldi me tha.. I didn't see you.. Are you okay?

Girl: Its completely okay. And don't worry, i am fine😊

She started looking here and there and then into her phone, as if she was searching for someone.

Karan: If u don't mind, may i ask you something?

Girl: Yeah sure.

Karan: Aap kisiko dhundrahi hain?

Girl: Ek ko nahi.. Teeno ko.. Actaully me yahan nayi aayi hoon.. Ek dost hai mera yahan. Usne kaha tha he will meet me in this cafe.. Dr. Shivam Ray, i dont know aap jaante honge ya nahi.

Karan: Shivam ray!! Arre wo to dost hai hamara.. I mean mera aur meri best friend -Monami ka.

Girl: Monami... Yeh naam suna hua lagraha hai.. Monami... Monami.. Monami mahajan? Karan shergil? Aap Karan Shergil ho?

Karan felt butterflies in his stomach.

Karan: (she knows you.. Karan she knows you..what... How😍😍)

Girl: Hey. I am Kavya. Kavya Deshmukh. Me shivam ki friend hoon. Usine mujhe kaha tha ki jahan me shift horahi wahan uske dost bhi rehte hain. Monami and Karan.. I guess aap dono hi ho na?

Monami: Hi monami mahajan

Karan: Karan shergil

They shaked hands. Karan and Kavya felt vibrations in their bodies.

Mo: to isiliye shivam mujhe kabse phone karraha..

Kavya: Uski aadat hai.. Really sorry usne tumhein pareshan kardiya hoga..

Mo: arre its completely fine..

Me gair thaa... Tere liyee..
Phir mujhe sapne kyun de gaya...

Karan remembered how he and Kavya got along so well.. How they used to pull Monami's leg... How she used to take care of him and Monami when both were sick and no one was there at home.

Gharwalo ke baad agar koi mere personal space me aake mujhe comfort karsaka to wo tum thi.. Mujhe nahi pata tum kya answer dogi.. Par ek risk to lena banta hai.. (took out a ring from his pocket) Ms. Kavya Deshmukh, will you marry me? Kya tum Kavya deshmukh se Kavya Karan Shergil banogi💍

Kavya shed tears of joy.

Karan slid the ring in Kavya's finger.. They hugged each other.

His expressions changed immediately when suddenly he remebered how everything shattered for him on his marriage day. How it turned out to be Monami and not Kavya whom he was marrying. How his best friend betrayed him (he thinks so).

His trance broke as soon as he completed the song. He had tears in his eyes. Baby had slept in Barkha's laps. Karan rushed to his room and closed the door. Monami couldn't control her anger and tears. She rushed to the garden to lighten her heart.

Monami was crying terribly.

Someone tapped on her shoulders. She looked back and hugged the person.. He was..... Param

Param: Monu.. Shaant hoja.. Dekh tu himmat haaregi to karan ko kaun sambhalega?

Mo: Kyun bhaiya.. Kyun😭😭😭 kyun Karan ke saath hi aisa hua.. Usne pyaar kiya tha Kavya se.. Usko pyaar karne ki aisi saza.. Naa wo khush hai naa me.. Wo marraha hai har roz kavya ki yaad me.. Aur me.. Me kuchh nahi karpaarahi. Apne dost ko gale bhi nahi laga paarahi.. Usse sach bhi nahi bata paarahi😭😭😭

Param: Monu... Sahi waqt ka intezaar kar.. Meri chhoti si behen kabhi haar maanti hai kya? Nahi na!! Dekh bacha.. Sab theek ho jaayega. Tu bharosa rakh.

Mo: Kaash bhaiya.. Kaash sab theek hopaata😭😭

Karan's room
Karan was crying bitterly. Tears were continuously flowing from his eyes. Suddenly he felt someone's presence in his room.. He looked and found..... Barkha...

Karan: Bhabhi.. Aap... Baby so rahi hai na. Aap usse akela chhodke yahan.

Barkha: Han jaanti hoon.. Baby so rahi... Par mera dusra bacha... Sorry.. Baby se bhi pehla..sabse pehla bacha.. Wo nahi soraha na.. Wo to roo raha hai.. Apni bhabhi se nazarein nahi mila raha..

Karan couldnt control himself and hugged Barkha tightly.

Karan: (talking while crying) kyun bhabhi... Kyun...kyun hua.. Hua.. Mere saath aisa... Bhai..bhai ne kabhi ..kavya ko nahi apnayaa. Aur mo..mona..monami bhi.. Aisa usne kyun kiya...😭😭

Barkha broke the hug and cupped his face.
Barkha: Shhh..chup karan.. Aur nahi..rona band karo.tumhari tabiyat kharab hojaayegi.. Me jaanti hoon jo hua theek nahi hua.. Par jo hua, uski wajah hai Karan.. Bohut badi wajah hai.

Karan: To mujhe kyun nahi batarahe bhabhi.. Me nahi chahta Bhaiya ya monami ko hate karna.. Me hate karta bhi nahi.. Par jab bhi unse baat karne ki koshish karta. Hamesha yahi yaad aata ki unhi dono ke wajah se aaj. Aaj...kavya aur me..

Barkha: Karan.. Yeh lo. Paani pio.. Yeh sab khyaal apne dimaag se nikal do.. Aisa kuchh bhi nahi hai.. Unki nahi, par apni bhabhi ki baaton ka to bharosa hai na?

Karan nodded in yes.

Barkha: To bas bharosa rakho.. Sahi waqt ka intezaar karo.. Sab samjh aajaayega.. Sab sahi lagne lagega.. Bas thoda sa waqt..
Chalo ab so jaao..

Karan put his head on Barkha's lap and slept. On the other side,Parmi (param+monami) went inside the house. Param caressed monami's hair and she drove into sleep..

Parkha: (Hey bhagwaan.. Kyun indono ki life itni complicated banarahe ho.😢)

Phew.. This is longer than i thought.. Itna lamba likhdiya😯
