( this is old, but I find it very cute 🤭 this love is platonic by the way )

Waving my hand slightly, I do my best to stop the bleeding. Walking to the bathroom only takes a second. But the moment I get there, I'm shocked.

"Lu-lucy? What are you doing in here- this late-"

Sighing lucy got up from her place on the bathroom floor. "Zoey, if your here for the same reason I am. Give me your hands, I have the box."

Not knowing what else to do, I stick my hands out, lucy quickly taking a hold of them. When she dose, I notice her fingers to. All of them are banged up. Just like mine need to be.

"So, how'd you cut yours?"

'we where told not to leave.  But, is she leaving to?'

Almost as if she could read my mind. Lucy answered before I had time to speak, "I was climbing out the window," mid sentence lucy slightly tilted her head back, basically jestering to the bathroom window behind her. Only the window wasn't fully intact anymore. Half the glass was missing. "yeah, I accidentally broke the window. I'm trying to find ways to sneak him in."

'oh'

"Wh-what did you tell aizawa? You know, about the window?" Finishing up lucy let go of both my hands. Placing the things used to clean all my cuts and placing them back in the box. Then closing it with a soft 'click'

Looking from my hands, back to lucy she struggled. "I told him that we where playing a game of hard core hide and seek, only he didn't know what it was, so I ended up just exsplaning it really,"

Turning away from me lucy put the box back on the shelf, making sure it was exactly where it originally had been.

"Um. Did, did it go well?"

Lucy shrugged once again, "at the end of the day he choked the broken window up to being your fault. Saying your the smaller one, only you could get up there. But, I told him the truth. It was my fault the window was broken after all, I just didn't tell him how."

Confused, I tiled my head slightly, looking at her puzzled. "s-so. What did you tell him?"

Lucy sighed again, only. To then do something I didn't expect. Stepping on the toilet lid, and then on the back of the toilet. Lucy reached up, grabbing the sill of the small bathroom window, grabbing the slider she slowly slid the glass towards the other side of the window. Even though only half the glass is left. "come on, its only 12:00, mid night. Right? Come on. Your knees may get cut up. But, you want out of this prison to, right?"

Looking at me she razed a brow, keeping one hand on the window sill. Reaching down to me, I heastated. "lucy, why would we leave the dorms? Wheren't we told not to-"

"Zoey, I have some one I want you to meet? Are you ready for an adventure?"

For the first time in half a year, I'm filled with the sudden feeling of hope.  The sudden feeling of,

'everythings okay'

'I'M okay'

Suddenly smiling up at her. I Gladdy take her hand, and lucy smiles back down at me. "I'm glad. Now, I'm going to slide through first, and then. It'll be your turn"

Nodding slightly lucy pulled me up, standing on the toilet lid. Only to quickly and quietly, hop down and tip toe over to the bathroom door. Closing it then locking it, just in case. Then quckily make my way back over to lucy.

"Okay luc, I'm ready to go. Let's go."

Nodding, lucy hosted her self up and onto the sill, laying on her stomach as she sqweezed through the window. And then, suddenly, she was gone. Sliding head first out of the window.

Worried, I quickly jumped up, using my elbows to hold my self on the sill. "l-LLUCY?!" I wisper yell, worried for her safety, yet worried we'd both be caught.

And then, suddenly, like a jack in the box. She sprang back up. "Lucy?! How'ed you do that?! We're on the third story-"

Giggling and laughing slightly, lucy lifted her wond. Waving it in frount of the window slighty. And then placing it back on her hip belt. "see zoey, bubbles" smiling the brightest I've seen in a while. Lucy looked so happy.

"But lucy, how are you standing-"

Shaking her head lucy started to slowly descend. Lowering Until I could not longer see her.  Only resting on my elbows, I slid slightly. Landing back on the toilet lid. Reaching up I grasped the window sill, and standing on my tip toes, I could just barely see over the sill. "lu-lucy, I can't do this-"

I heard another laugh, and then more smiling words. "don't worry, just trust me zoey. I'll catch you, just close your eyes, and let your self fall. I'll be right here, I won't leave. I'm right here."

"O-okay, I'm coming-" not wasting a second, I gulped, and took a deep breath.closeing my eyes, and  Using all my effort to push my self off my tip toes, up, onto the sill. Laying on my stomach, i put my arms through the window, laying my palms on the outside of the dorms building, and pushing my self all the way through. I nose dived head first through the air.

I trusted lucy, but I was still scared.

Shocked I flailed, my arms reaching out for nothing. Finding nothing. Flipping through the air, I was now falling toosh down. I full expected to hit solid ground.

Only to be shcoked when I'm met with a light cusion, what feels like a pillow catches me. Wrapping it's self around my knees and around my shoulder blades. To scared to look, I keep my eyes shut. Tears pricking at the corners of my eyes. 

'am I dead?'

"Zoey, it's okay. You can open your eyes now, look around," I hear calming and smiling words. Slowly opening my eyes. I'm met with lucy looking down at me, smiling as bright as can be. "see zo? I didn't lie, I caught you. Your okay now, no need to cry"

Laughing slightly, and smiling just as brightly back at her. I nod, "yeah, your right."

Hearing my answer lucy shows me a bright white toothy closed eye smile. Giggling slightly, suddenly lucy spun, spinning me with her. Wrapping my arms around her neck I laugh and giggle with her. Letting out a small

'WEEEEEEE!'

As we spin, lucy echoing it. And then she suddenly stops, "wait, zoey. How would you like to go look at the stars tonight?!" Suddenly asking a question, I take no time to respond. "yes! Yes absolutely! Let's do it!"

I laugh, and she dose to. "Okay, zoey. Before we can, I have some one you have to meet! But first! Take my hand"

Not hesitating lucy takes her left arm out from under my knees, and slightly scared. I fake it, only to find, I'm not falling. "h-how-"

Laughing at me slightly lucy points down "look, bubbles, and I can make more!" Taking her right arm away from my shoulders she swings it outwards. Creating more bubbles, sending them flying. And then suddenly, they all combine, making small stair like platforms. All of them leading to the ground.

It's only now that I notice, we're both floating slightly, bubbles surrounding us. Keeping us afloat in the air. "Okay, I'm going to set us down now" and suddenly, we're lowering. Both our feet landing on a platform of thick bubbles. "Lu-lucy is this safe-"

Laughing again lucy smile more, grabbing my other free hand, and holding both mine in hers. Looking at me the happiest I've ever seen she. She sends another closed eye smile my way. "Zoey, of course it's safe, I wouldn't let either of us do this other wise."

Nodding slightly, I breaht a shaky breaht. "O-okay-"

"We'll go slow. Okay, one step at a time. I'll go first, then you." Following her words I nod. And staring me in the eyes she reaches a foot backwards. Stepping onto another bubble plat form. And I follow her. With each step the next gets easier. And suddenly we're running down the stairs of bubbles, hand in hand.

Like a scene straight out of sailor moon  for once, we both felt free.

Taking a second to look back the moment my foot leaves the plat form the bubbles disappear, fluttering up into the start night sky like newly formed free butterflies.

"When I say, JUMP ZOEY!!!!"

Suddenly with a shout from lucy my feet have nothing to stand on. And I'm falling again. Only to be caught just as I had only moments ago. At first I close my eyes, but open them again. "Zoey, I'm going to throw you, stand on my shoulders"

Shocked, and caught off guard I nearly choke on my breath. My eyes going wide, "wait?! Wh-WH-"

Before I can ask what's going on I'm already being thrown into the air. Flailing about like a child angry because i didn't get my toy. Only to be stoped and held in place by a few purposely stray bubbles. Guiding me the bubbles land my fuzzy socked feet on lucy's shoulders. I feel lucy grabb my ankles. And once steadying my self,I look down. Only to find lucy riding her big bubble wind like a snow board, shredding bubbles like they where snow. Looking up to me she smiles. "Where to zoey?! "

Smiling and laughing I giggle, "Straight to your special person lucy!"

She laughs some more, smiling like a child. "you got it! Off to the forgotten forest we go!!!!"

And suddenly, it's like a rockets been shot off. And we take off like a speeding bullet. As though we where in snow headed down a mountain. Not expecting it I nearly fall back wards and off lucy's shoulders. But having a tight grip lucy keeps me steady. I hear her laugh, the brights happeiest I've ever heard she laugh. And I smile,  such a bright smile my cheeks hurt. Reaching my arms up like I'm on the titanic, the wind wipping my hair in and out of my face. Closing my eyes I take a big gulp of fresh wind wiping air. And let out one of the biggest yells that I can muster.

"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" My scream ends with a few laughs, and I realize lucy was screaming with me as well.
