You may be wondering why the 'Hit-man' doing in this chapter. Because HIT-MAN is related to Reader. I say READER is called as HIT-MAN, because he/she too never misses the target of "Reading" something other. 

(Don't take the literal meaning in the above comparison. Its just for fun)

According to GOOGLE, Reader is called "One who reads". But i have a different definition of Reader. A reader is a person who also possess below qualities.

R - REVOLUTIONIST

E - ENEMY

A - ANONYMOUS

D - DEAREST

E - ENERGIZER 

R - REVIEWER

(Don't see me like that.I will explain below)

1) A reader can be a Revolutionist because of this reader ability, he/she gets to know things and try to take his next step. This ability is the main source for any change to a person or any country. For example - take any revolution that happened in any country whether it is for 1947 Indian Independence or 1765 American revolution or you can take the great wars that happen in the world (1914-1918/1939-1945).

     Reading is one of the thing that caused the people turn towards revolution or know about the revolution .

2) Enemy -- A reader can be a enemy too. As per the natural order, if there is good then there will be bad too. This quality is one of it. A reader  will be enemy to the writer by giving bad publicity or to an organisation by bad mouthing it.

3) Anonymous -- The most powerful quality of a reader or a writer is their 'Anonymity'. An anonymous reader is a person who expressed his/her thoughts on an article or a story without thinking of any consequences or getting caught [Can be caught by other means though].

4) Dearest -- A reader is a dear person to the writer. He/she can be friend/Girlfriend/Boyfriend/father/mother/sister/brother and what not.

5) Energizer -- A reader is a energy booster to a writer. Because with his views/likes/comments or their responses , a writer can rejuvenates or he/she gives happiness to the writer.

6) Reviewer --  Or you can say critic. He/she is a person who reads what writer writes and reviews it and improves the writer skills and to improve to present a good content.

P.S: All the above seems to be similar to one another, but there can be a thin line of difference. I tried to present that.

Reader Vs Writer:  There was a beautiful dialogue in a movie that tells the relation between Husband and wife. That can be applied between this duo too.

    "The relationship between Reader and a Writer should be  like a fish and the water .. but not like a fish and fisherman."

Because if the relation is not good then it is not beneficiary to either of them. A writer needs reader to read it or  Reader needs writer to write something.

There are different mediums that a reader can read something. If starts from a slate in the childhood to any website in this modern world.

Talking about platform, now-a-days there are different websites that allow a person to read their interested stories. There different sites/apps [Wattpad/Inkitt/Dreame/Medium/Quora].

I am talking about only the sites where we can find stories and all. But for a reader, the source does not matter only content matters .

Different types of Reader:

There are 2 types of reader:

1) Active readers

2) Silent readers

An active readers are those who will quick to react on it either it is voting/commenting on it or to taken an action against it.

Silent readers are those who just reads and don't do anything. Neither he comments or click on like button. This doesn't mean he/she is bad for writers. They are just shy to respond. On a positive note "They are the writers secret fans" whom in turn increase the fan base for a writer or a book.

Reader's Response:

To any story or any article readers response in the form of comments or likes tells a writer how they are connected to their story or in simple words it tells the "Readers PULSE" to a story.

From a readers perspective[ a partial true] expects this question "What happens next?" atleast on back their minds. That is the reason we see the comments like "Update please/ please reveal the plot soon/ when will you post etc." This tells us how much the reader is effected with the story.

For a writer, there can be only one angle to their story on how to proceed further[they can think of multiple, but presents only one]. But for a reader, Its the most imaginative mind and it boundless to think of multiple possibilities to any kind of situation. In their minds, he/she can form 'N' number of routes and he can present them in comment.  Its writers wish to decide if they are correct or wrong.

Patience: The most important quality that a reader should possess while reading the story. Because how much control he had on his mind reflects on how he trouble /ask the writer/ to guess the situation.

How a reader reads anything?

A research was done how reading is done by any human [you may know it too],  A person reads the first and last letter of a word and forms the word completely in his mind. Just see the below image to prove that [source: Google obviously :P]

This is the power of human mind.

How a reader should read the story [I am strictly confined to the stories. Not to studies or anything]. Note: These are just my thoughts which may or may not be true.

--> A reader first try to imagine the situation in their minds and then read the contents and the connections. This helps to get connected to the story more.

--> If you try to read it casually or namesake, then it wont be useful to analyse the situations[ This does not help when you read detective/investigative/suspense thriller stories].

--> If you are reading a love story, the most important thing a reader should do is "Feel it". Then you can experience the real beauty of the story.

--> if you are reading a suspense or imaginative story, Use the Reader's weapon "Imagination". This helps in calculating the next steps differently or anticipate the next moves.

--> A Reader should NEVER think like "What writer thought? or how writer progress it". It spoils or takes the fun out of Reader's creativity.

--> If you are reading a thought provoking story, think about it -- analyse its pros and cons and try to implement or take action [ This helps to improve your INNER YOU  and makes you a better person]

Finally completed 1200+ words. This is one of the examples that tells a Reader how much writer keep the efforts in bringing out a concept. It can good or bad writer's effort should always be appreciated.
