A Talk With Boss and Apologies

Sam was working in the restaurant, running around the restaurant, taking orders, cleaning tables, and delivering food.

It was a busy day and he was glad for that. It kept his mind off of the Cas situation.

He had just finished clearing a table when the bell above the door rang. He glanced to see who walked in and smiled when he saw Dean and Devon with... Gabriel?

He furrowed his eyebrows, but went to the back to get rid of the dirty dishes. He walked back out and went to their table, taking out his pad and pen. "Hey guys."

"Hey Sammy!" Dean smiled up at his little brother.

Devon grinned and stood up, then hugged his uncle. "Hi uncle Sam!"

"Hey moose," Gabe said with a grin.

Sam had picked up Devon and held him in one arm. He smiled at them. "So, how and when did you two meet?"

"Well..." Dean blushed and rubbed his neck.

Gabe snickered. "He tried to kill me."

Sam's jaw dropped as he looked at his brother. "Dean!"

"It was an accident! Me and Devon were coming here and I didn't notice the light had changed and well... He walked in front of me and I slammed on the breaks..."

Sam looked over at Gabe. "How are you not traumatized?!"

"Shockingly, that's not the first time it's happen."

Sam had the most dumbfounded look on his face, that Dean pointed to and said, "My exact reaction!"

Gabe rolled his eyes and chuckled. "It's not that serious."

"No, no. Not at all." Dean said as he smiled a bit.

Sam shook his head. "So why are you here?"

"Mm, to apologize, I decided to take him to lunch." Dean shrugged it off.

"Huh. Well, alright." Sam put Devon down in his spot, then picked up his pad and pen. "What would you like?"

The three ordered their food and drinks and Sam went to go place their order. He fixed their drinks and brought them to them, placing them in front of them.

"Sammy, when's your break?" Dean asked.

Sam looked at his watch. "Not for another... 20 minutes. Why?"

"We wanted you to come sit with us!" Devon piped up.

Sam gently ruffled his hair. "I might take an early break then." He smiled, then heard the bell again. He looked to see who had walked in, then gulped a bit when he saw Cas and some girl.

"Hey, it's my little bro!" Gabe smiled and waved at Cas.

Cas smiled back, said something to the girl, then they walked over. "Hello everyone."

"Heya Cassie!" Gabe looked over at Dean. "This is my little brother, Cas." He smiled lightly.

Dean looked up at Cas and smiled. "Hey. I'm Dean. And this is my son, Devon."

Cas smiled at him. "Nice to meet you." He looked at Devon. "And, nice to meet you." He gestured to the girl beside him. "This is my friend, Meg."

Meg smiled at everyone. "Hello. Nice to meet you all."

Gave looked over at Dean. "Would it be alright if they sat with us?"

"Yeah. It's fine with me. But I doubt we'll all fit here. Sammy, got any bigger tables open?" Dean asked as he looked up at his brother.

"It's Sam," he muttered under his breath as he looked around. "Yeah. Over there."

They all got up and followed Sam to the bigger table. They got situated and Sam took Cas and Meg's order. He went to the back and placed their order.

"Sam, I need you to go bring this to Jensen," one of the waitresses said as she handed him a package.

He took it and nodded. "Alright. There's a table of five I need you to handle for a while. Their orders are already placed."

She nodded and smiled at him. "Got it."

Sam walked out the back and walked to Jensen's office. He knocked on the door nervously. Why was he nervous? No one knew.

"Come in!"

Sam walked in and shut the door behind him. "Hello sir. Ruby asked me to bring this to you."

Jensen nodded and held out his hand.

Sam walked up to him and gave it to him.

"Sam, sit down."

He froze for a second before sitting down in the chair.

Jensen leaned forward, placing his head in his hands. "Sam, we need to talk about your... reputation."

"My... reputation?"

"Yes, Sam. It seems as if you've made quite the name for yourself."

"W-What do you mean?" He can't possibly know about...

"Well, last night I was out getting a few drinks with a friend and I kept hearing your name. It seems as if people are missing you and would pay extra just to 'get with' you again."

Sam looked down at his lap. He didn't know what to say.

Jensen smirked a bit and stood. "I'm a little curious now, Sam. Are you as good of a fuck as they say you are?" He walked over to the door and locked it, then walked back over to Sam.

Sam looked up at him. "S-Sir, every since I found out I'm p-pregnant, I don't d-do those things a-anymore."

Jensen softly rubbed his shoulders. "Don't worry. I'll be gentle."

After 10 minutes or so, Jensen and Sam were both fixing themselves up.

"I'll see it that you get your money on your next check, Sam." Jensen said as he adjusted his tie.

Sam nodded as he fixed his clothes. "Ok... Thank you."

"No, thank you Sam. Now, go enjoy your lunch."

He nodded and turned to leave, but paused and looked back at Jensen. "Do you have any cologne?"

Jensen chuckled and opened a drawer. He pulled out a bottle and handed it to Sam who sprayed a bit on before handing it back to him.

Sam left his office and closed the door. He sighed softly and was about to walk to the back, when Dean called for him. He walked over, not once looking at Cas. "What's up?"

"Dude, is everything good? You were talking to him for a while." Dean gave him a worried look.

"Everything's fine. He just had to talk to me about something."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

"Alright..."

"Uncle Sam?" Devon asked softly.

Sam looked down at him. "Yeah bud?"

"Do you have any presents?" He asked innocently, using his puppy dog eyes.

Sam laughed and ruffled him hair. "Let me go see, alright?"

Devon nodded and smiled. Sam walked off to the back and everyone turned to look at Dean for clarification.

Dean shrugged a bit. "They always share a piece of chocolate cake."

They all nodded and let out soft "oh's." Sam returned with the plate of cake and sat in the booth next to Devon.

Devon grinned and picked up his fork before digging into the cake.

Sam reached over and stole Dean's fork.

"Hey!"

"Oh shut up, you don't need it."

Cas couldn't help but chuckle at the two brothers. He looked down at his glass and smiled.

"Hey, Dean?"

"Ugh. What?"

"Is it too late to say sorry now?"

Gabe, Meg, and Cas started laughing at the bitch face Dean gave Sam.

"You know how much I hate Justin Bieber!"

"Then why do you have his CD in your car?"

"SAM!"

The three kept laughing at Dean and Sam's bickering. Dean huffed and shoved a piece of their cake in Sam's face.

Sam laughed and got up, then headed to the bathroom. He walked in, took off his shirt so it didn't get wet, and went over to the sink and washed off his face.

When he was almost done, the door opened and closed again, but he didn't think anything about it.

"Sam..?"

Sam jumped and looked up. "Oh... Hey Cas..."

"Hey..." Cas looked down at his feet and sighed softly, then looked up at Sam.

The two stared at each other for a minute before saying, "I'm sorry," at the same time.

Sam shook his head. "You have nothing to be sorry for, Cas... I shouldn't have done what I did.. I just wanted to repay you, but that was the only way I knew how... I wouldn't have done it if I'd known you had a girlfriend.."

"Sam, it's not that I- wait. Girlfriend?" Cas tilted his head to the side. "What girl- oh! You mean Meg? She isn't my girlfriend. She's just one of my good friends."

"O-Oh..."

Cas stepped forward and gently cupped his cheeks. "Sam, I'm truly sorry for ignoring you. I shouldn't have done that. Just... When you blew me, the emotions that I had pushed down, came back up and I-I got afraid.."

Sam frowned. "What were you afraid of?"

"It's nothing..." Cas dropped his hands and turned to walk out the bathroom, but a hand grabbed him and pulled him back.

"No... Tell me."

"Sam... I-I was afraid of... of my feelings for you..."

"What?"

Cas sighed and looked down. "I have feelings for you, Sam. But I was afraid to admit."

"Cas, why were you afraid?"

"Because, Sam! I've seen the way girls look at you! And I've seen how you look at them back! I could tell you weren't like me..."

"And what are you?"

"I'm gay..."

The bathroom door opened again and some guy walked in and went into a stall, not acknowledging either of the two.

Sam let go of Cas. "We'll talk at home, ok?"

Cas nodded. "Yeah... ok." He walked out the bathroom quickly.

Sam let out a shaky sigh as he put his shirt on and went back to join the others.
