Lucy’s Point Of View

After we arrived, we got our rooms and settled in. Kelly later had fought Juvia to see where she was at. A month passed and this is the first day that Kelly actually let us relax. She is pushing everyone past their limits. She taught Erza a couple of new techniques, she helped Gray with his stances which helped give more magic behind his attacks, she helped Natsu slowly tap into his demon magic and use it. With Wendy, she had pushed Wendy to put more power behind her attack. Juvia, Kelly noticed how she was using her emotion to make her magic have more power so she basically helped with that. With me, we’ve been doing it at night where no one else can see. She’s been pushing me to let Celie out more and let her give me some power. At least the nightmares aren’t bothering me if I'm not sleeping. Surprisingly Natsu or the others haven’t found out.

I sat on the sand next to Wendy watching Gray and Natsu have a competition. My mind was still filled with the bad memories but I'm slowly accepting what happened to me. The only time I couldn't get over was when I got the scar on the right side of me. I shook my head and pushed the thoughts away. So far no sightings of Dark Night, it's like they went into hiding. Which means that they might be planning something. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see that Wendy was somewhat uncomfortable.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.

“Erza made me wear this and I’m not used to wearing these things.” She said. She was wearing a two-piece swimsuit which is something she won’t wear.

“Why aren’t you wearing a swimsuit?” She asked me. I looked down at what I was wearing. It was a simple shirt with shorts that ended a couple of inches above my knee.

“I would be too uncomfortable.” Was all I said. I was already uncomfortable without my cloak but I was trying. 

“Why though? I could use my magic to get rid of the scars.” 

“It's not my scars that make me uncomfortable, it's that I feel open to anything. I’m not used to that.” I said. It wasn’t the full truth but what else can I do. I was somewhat self-conscious of the scars because people would just stare. My guard was up too. I had talked with Kalmte yesterday and was not active from Dark Night. A month has gone by and none. Either they are planning something or something went wrong. With Dark Night plans who knows, they have some messed up minds. I laid back and looked up at the sky. I closed my eyes and felt the breeze. My mind went back to her. She wanted control but I wasn't letting her have it. Guardian has been awfully quiet lately. Celie has been on guard ever since we came here, she feels something is going to happen. I felt the breeze hit me again, calming me down. I wish it was night, so I can just feel the celestial magic.

"Lucy-san, how are you doing since coming back?" I heard Wendy asked.

"Fine, I wasn't happy at first cause well, I was trying to protect you guys. But after spending time with you guys again I could see how much you all grew."

"Were there times when you saw us?" She asked.

"Yea, every year at the Grand Magic Games, I was there."

"How come we didn't see you or the other dragon slayers smell you?"

"My cloak conceals my scent and magic, making me an ordinary person." She nodded in response.

"Anyways, how are you and Romeo doing?" Her face went red which caused me to smirk. She stuttered and I laughed.

"Hey, no need to get embarrassed," I said. She slapped her cheek before rubbing them. The red slowly disappeared but they're still a hint. 

“We’re doing fine. He hasn't asked me out yet.” The blush slowly creeping back onto her face.

“What about you and Natsu?” She suddenly asked. 

“Umm,” I looked away, I could feel the blush on my cheeks.

“Wait how did this turn on me?” I said looking at her. She laughed.

“You asked about her love life, Lucy,” Carla said. I mumbled a few unhappy words under my breath.

“We’re doing fine, we are just taking our time with things,” I said, looking at the boys again. 

“I'm so glad Kelly gave us a break. I don't think I could have taken another day of training.” Wendy said, laying on her back.

“I haven’t seen you train with us lately Lucy.” Happy said coming up behind us.

“I’ve been training with Kelly on my own time.” I heard him say oh and sat down next to us.

“Where have you been tomcat?”

“Erza dragged me along to go and eat some cake. I'm surprised that she still has money left.” I could see him wrap his arms around him and shivered. We all laughed, classic Erza. our attention was drawn back to the boys as they came running to us, arguing. 

“Who won?” They said to us. We stared at them in shock.

“Won what?”

“The composition, duh?”

“We didn’t watch, sorry,” Wendy said. They groaned and their heads hung. 

“I bet Natsu won.” Happy said and jumped in the air.

“So I win,” Natsu said and turned to Gray.

“They didn’t even see so it doesn’t count.” He shouted back at him. I could see something had caught his eye. His eyes widened and pushed Gray out of the way. Something hit the sand where they once stood. Wires went shooting out and I could see sparks. I immediately knew who this was, Misty. We all stood up and looked at where the shot came from. She stood in the tree with her sniper in hand. She smirked and disappeared. 

“Looks like they decided to come out of hiding,” I mumbled. 

“You guys ok?” Wendy asked them. They answered but I wasn't paying attention. I was looking around, seeing if I spotted her again. I was too late. Once my eyes landed on her, she smirked. I didn’t have time to move as the wires burst out and wrapped around me. I fell to the ground as they shocked me. I grunted in pain. I could feel my seal slowly activate. The others didn’t have time to do anything before they were down to the ground. I could hear two of them scream in pain. Black dots filled my vision. They made it stronger which means that they were getting the same amount. Soon the screams stopped and Misty walked up to us. I turned my body a bit to look at my friends. Wendy, Happy, and Carla were passed out while Natsu and Gray were struggling to stay awake. All three of us were shocked again. Soon Gray passed out with Natsu slowly following. I heard a familiar voice say something before I passed out. 

I was on something hard and cold. I opened my eyes and saw that I was in a cell. A cell I was too familiar with. The walls were made of stone with anti-magic stones mixed within. The only way out was the metal bars but they stopped from any magic to be used. I looked around my cell and saw a little girl. She was maybe 9 and was cowering in the corner. I could see the slash across her skin. She was already used. Across from my cell was another one that held all my friends. They had their backs to the wall and were still asleep. There were two ladies in there but that was it. I took off my cloak and put it around the little girl. She flinched at the feeling of the fabric and looked up at me. I smiled and put the cloak over her. She pulled it over and mumbled a quiet thank you. I sat back down and looked for any damage to myself. The lines from the wire still lined my body but nothing else. They had taken my boots along with my… oh shit. I felt around my neck and felt nothing, there was no weight on my wrist either. They had taken my limiters. I heard groans and grunts from my friends. They all slowly opened their eyes. 

“Are you guys ok?” I asked as I got closer to the bars. They looked at me. I looked at all of them for any injuries. My eyes stopped on Erza, she had scratches all over her body. Her left ankle was wrapped and her right hand along with her wrist. 

“Yea,”

“What happened to you Erza?” Wendy asked, finally noticing the injuries. 

“When I was walking up to you guys I noticed you were on the ground with Misty standing over you. I asked her something and we started fighting. It’s bury since she hit me on the head but she was able to get me tied up, on the ground, and on the verge of passing out.” She explained.

“One question I do have is why did they wrap me up?”

“Because they don’t want the item to be damaged.” One of the girls said from their cell. She looked at us and her eyes stopped on me. Lifeless. 

“What do you mean?” Gray asked.

“We are all objects to them and nothing else. If you are damaged then you can’t do your job.” The other girl said.

“The women have the job of having their soldiers and raising them. We are unsure of the men since you are the first we have seen in her.” The other girl said. We heard a door open and men laughing which made us be quiet. I heard them walking down the cells and shouting stuff at each other. Cells being opened and girls dragged out. Two men walked by, dragging to girls with them. They were crying, begging to be let go, or begging them not to do it. All the men did was laugh and pulled them along. I sat against the wall and pulled my knees to my chest. I tried not to let the memories get to me. A guard stopped at our cells and looked between the two. He opened the other cell and reached for one of the girls. His friend came up behind him. His hands landed on the girl and the girl begged to not do it. I saw Natsu get up. He went towards the guard but was thrown back to the back of the cell. The guard pulled the girl and shut the cell.

“I suggest you don’t do anything, boy, you don’t want to be punished.” The guard said.

“Hey, Ben, you think I can have fun with the redhead?”

“No, Gin made it clear that we can’t mess with them. You don’t want to end up like the guy that tried messing up with blondie.” The other guard said and walked away, pulling the girl along. The guard that was behind mumbled something under his breath before opening my cell. He pulled the little girl out, my cloak falling off her shoulders. I heard the cell close and them walking away.

“What are they going to do to them?” Happy asked after it was silent for a while.

“To have fun of course, well fun for the men but hell for us girls.” The girl responded. I think they got the idea because their face turned to shock then horror.

“You’re lucky, you don't have to go through what we have to. You get the better end of it.” A girl said from a cell next to theirs. We were silent.

“So this is what you meant when they did the things to the women,” Wendy said looking at me. I nodded and put my head against my knees.

“There has to be a way to get out of here.” I heard Natsu say and get up. I heard metal being pushed and pulled. I heard him mumble damit. 

“You won’t be able to get out, they made sure of that. These walls and bars don’t allow you to use magic.” Someone said. It was silent, the only thing that could be heard was people breathing.

“Lucy, what are we gonna do?” I heard Gray asked.

“Nothing.” Was all I said. There was nothing we could do. I’ve only been placed here a couple of times but I’ve never escaped. They talked among themselves for who knows how long before we heard a door opened. Only one set of footsteps could be heard. I heard something hit the ground every few seconds. The person soon came to our cells and threw a small bag into our cells before continuing on. I already knew what was inside, food. I didn’t make any movement for the bag. I heard people eating and making small talk with each other. I heard another door opened and multiple people. Cells were opened and things being thrown in. my cell opened and another girl was thrown inside. She landed on the ground hard and slowly sat up. She leaned against the wall, shaking. There were cuts and bruises that covered her skin. I reached for the bag and gave it to her. She looked at me in confusion as she took the bag. She pulled out two pieces of bread and tried handing me one but I shook my head. I gave her a smile and her eyes widened. She placed the empty bag on the floor and put the second bread on the bag. She slowly ate the bread. Doors opened again and I could hear the laughter of Gin. I heard their footsteps until they reached my cell. I looked up and saw Gin and Daxx. They opened my cell and Daxx reached for my arm. He put my arms behind my back and put on magic stoppers. They pushed me out and out of the cell area. We went down a bunch of hallways before we entered a big room. I knew what they were going to do. They pushed me until we were close to a big machine. Doctors all around us. They put a mask to my face, it covered my nose and mouth and had gas coming out of it. I couldn’t hold my breath any longer and breathe in the gas. I felt my body get weak and my eyes get heavy. They laid me on the ground and undid the cuffs. I felt them put these metal things on my wrist and I could see something coming out of them. I closed my eyes, no longer able to keep them open. I soon fell asleep.
