{Seventeen}

Over the next few weeks, Spencer makes certain that Sam listens and obeys. Sticking firm to the lessons he had managed to get his boy to do before, sitting and staying in public, not moving away from the larger man and to wait for him. Keeping things normal outside of the apartment will help Sam understand the specific lesson Spencer wants him to learn, one that has been taking up most of the time inside; to do as asked, or told. No getting up for anything and everything until Spencer asks for it, demands it or disguises it in a request. He admits that he had expected Sam to be unwilling to learn and move on from his habit, his need to provide things for people.

However, he was pleasantly surprised at how his puppy managed the first day. Sam was nervous and fidgety, hesitant to obey and sit down. He did though, despite his mind fighting the entire idea of sitting, allowing someone else to cook and bring him food. Sam had gotten better with the constant training everyday, morning through dinner when they're in his apartment. He doesn't pout as heavily when told to sit, stay and wait. The second morning the youtuber had allowed movement from the couch, remembering Sam appeared tense and uncomfortable limited to only the couch.

Now, the baker has permission to walk around and do things, as long as he stays clear of the kitchen unless called in. The sub is much more willing to wait when he can fiddle about the bathroom and living room, doing little chores that keep him busy. He enjoys using the time to make his bed and build up a pile of toys to put away in a little box the dogs can access. The red-head has even caught Sam attempting to slowly train the animals to clean up after themselves, sitting on the floor and going through commands and tests.

Similar to how Spencer is training him, testing him and praising him, rewarding with words or extra bacon. The blue haired boy will stand at the threshold of the kitchen, asking to grab a bag of treats to help motivate his dogs to learn. Never disobeying the rule to stay out of the kitchen, rather he waits with his hands behind his back and bounces on his feet as he waits for Spencer to hand him a bag or give permission to enter. To reward him for this, Spencer gives him already cooked pieces of food with a kiss to his head, encouraging that behavior more, especially since the man hadn't needed to train it into him.

Sam always flushes, cheeks filling with a pretty pink color that stands out against his pale complexion. He'll either stand in his spot and stutter out a 'thank you' or hurry away to keep himself busy. While Spencer is nowhere near a chef, he's decent at simple meals and he sticks with what he's accustomed to making for himself. He'll learn more for them at a later time, let Sam cook and teach the red-head.

For now, the man is happy preparing meals for them and training his boy in the process. Sam had mentioned going to the store to buy groceries and that planted ideas in Spencer's head, knowing he'll need rules for the store as well. The college student is great at obeying in public, being told it's purely for his safety when it's also Spencer merely being possessive, wanting Sam where he can find him and keep as many people away from him as possible. The more people around Sam, the more chances of another man trying his luck with an already taken man.

Spencer doesn't want to risk losing Sam, no matter that the boy seems happy with him. In store rules will be spoken about, Spencer decides. Most likely a simple hand hold as they walk around, staying within view or even staying in contact with the cart- always holding the metal of the cart. He'll allow Sam to pick everything he wants, the puppy boy does enjoy cooking homemade meals and does eat considerably healthy.

The youtuber is aware Sam eats better than himself, the dogs eat healthier than the man, so his boy can help him do better as well. Spencer wants desperately to follow Sam everywhere, his suspicion that he has an obsession with the younger man holds true. The thought of not having a clear view of Sam at any given moment sends a flash of panic and rage in his chest, he's anxious when in his own apartment without knowing what is happening across the hall.

The older man is throwing around the idea of making a copy of Sam's door key to allow him to walk into the other apartment whenever he wants, without knocking. It's probably too soon for that, the man scowls at the reasonable thought. Not caring for too soon or reasonable, he wants to see and be able to touch Sam whenever he wants, any time of the day. Being able to walk into the apartment without needing to wake his boy up would only help Sam get used to the idea of living with Spencer, seeing him first in the morning when those gray eyes open and the last thing he sees when he goes to sleep.

Because, sooner or later, Sam will be in the man's apartment or moving into a bigger place with him. It doesn't matter what excuses the boy gives, the man will find a place that will make his partner happy as well as the dogs. Those dogs need to be excited and content in the place, otherwise Sam will never be satisfied with moving. Spencer has already begun the process of searching, going online to find dog friendly apartments or houses for rent in a quiet neighborhood. A place with a big yard, the neighbors a good distance away, and close to a bakery for Sam to work at.

He has searched for restaurants nearby as well, remembering he was told his boy wanted to work in a high end restaurant for experience. As long as no one puts doubts in Sam's head, telling him their relationship is moving too fast this goal of Spencers will happen sooner rather than later. He isn't afraid to isolate Sam to keep that from happening, keep him from speaking to people for a small amount of time or teach him to believe everything that comes from the larger man.

Sam is already building a strong trust for his boyfriend, it'll be no issue to strengthen that into something that wouldn't ever doubt said man. He'll look at Spencer like he hung the sun and never question the decisions, get upset at the simple thought of Spencer doing wrong by him. Sam will be dependent on him, fully, whether he realizes it or not.

The youtuber smirks to himself as he sets up for a new video, getting his camera ready and another computer screen to display comments from youtube and media apps. He's doing a reading comments video, planning to make his relationship official on the internet as he has already checked with Sam on having media accounts. The skittish baker only has a youtube account to watch videos, no other on any social networks. Spencer will never include Sam in videos, unless his boy gets comfortable with that idea. He doesn't plan on giving much information on who his boyfriend is, where he works, or anything of the sort.

Keeping everything as private as possible is important to him, especially since pictures could leak onto the internet of them out on a date; like at the theater. There will be pictures of them and people attempting to look into Sam's life, judging him and hating him simply for dating Spencer. The less they know, the better. A few pictures of them on the man's accounts should satisfy the noisy fans, along with demands to leave Sam alone. Sitting at his desk in his sound foamed room, he turns the camera on and gets his recording started, glad Sam is at work currently and can't hear him shouting.

"Hey, fuckheads!" He greets loudly with a smirk. "We're gonna be reading comments and clearing shit up, because I've seen some rumors and people prying into my life. I won't tolerate that bullshit."

Instantly getting started with a comment he purposely placed at top, reading it off with a roll of his eyes. "We met him at the local movie theater and he was totally pissed at us. Pushed someone and everything. He said he had a boyfriend too! He was soo rude to us!"

"Okay. We're gonna get this out of the way, cause it's fucking bothering me." He doesn't hide the disdain in his voice, aware his tone is filled with irate and the scowl on his expression is a billboard of indignation. Putting emphasis on the words to make them stand out more, to stick with the audience. "Yea, a group of you guys ambushed me at a movie. Which, if I was alone, I wouldn't have minded much. But, I wasn't alone. I had my boyfriend with me. And yes, I have a boyfriend."

Continuing, he gestures to the second screen he is using to display the comments. "The fact you purposely left important details out and are trying to make me look like a bastard, is disgusting. I pushed someone because he grabbed me and wouldn't let go, even after I told him to get away. He is not a victim of me being a fucker and randomly shoving him. I know there are videos, I saw the cameras in my face. Also, the added mention I have a partner wasn't needed. It sounds like you're upset I have a boyfriend, as if any of you guys even had a chance. Which, by the way, none of you had, or have. I'll never date a fan."

"I was pissed, still am honestly. We were on a lovely date and having a great time, until a group ran at us. My boyfriend isn't used to that and has certain trouble with people in his space, you guys caused him to have a mild panic attack and that just made me angrier. For now on, no one has permission to come up to me, ever." He takes a breath to calm down, "just thinking of seeing him like that is getting me pissed again. Moving on."

This time the screen is displaying a picture attached to the comment, one from the theater and shows the couple walking from the screen room after the movie. Spencer is shown grinning widely down at a blue haired man, large hand holding a smaller one. The shorter man has a shy, closed lipped smile on his pale face, only a faint pink working its way up his thin neck to give him an alive look. Spencer grins at the picture, just as he had the first time he saw it, making certain he has it saved in his phone before reading the comment. "Who is the man with him? He looks a little young for Spence."

Shaking his head, he sighs. "That's my adorable boyfriend, Sam. That's the only information I'm putting on the internet, besides clearing up that he's in his twenties. He's legal." Then adding, "If I see hate comments about him, or us in general, I will block all of them. He doesn't have any kind of social media, so you won't be able to find him on the internet. If anyone claims to know him and spills private information to the public, I'll hunt you down and sue you for it. He is off limits, to literally everyone and I don't want my career to scare him off. I'll post rarely of him, maybe pictures here and there, but nothing that gives anyone the ability to leak anything about him."

Spencer goes through other comments afterwards, wanting to space the comment of his boy apart a bit, speaking of games he'll play and answering innocent questions of what systems he uses or what cameras he has. Purposely reading comments about the theater incident or Sam and allowing his anger and annoyance to show, making sure the video catches the mumbled insults he gives to those people. After this, he'll post a picture of them together with a cute caption, drive home the point he's content with Sam and nothing the internet says will ruin that.

He'll go through the comments, blocking, replying either angrily or nicely to people depending on the words he reads. The man will show he won't tolerate bad words against Sam and that he was serious with the threat to sue, as it is against the law to leak private information without one's permission. Just because Spencer puts a certain amount of his life on the internet, doesn't give others the right to his life, or Sams. The internet is a vast place, no matter what he prepares or plans he knows there will be people that feel they're entitled to his private life. To avoid this, he'll post a screenshot of the laws, reveal that it's illegal to dig through their privacy and he'd be within his right to sue. If someone does make the mistake of testing him, the youtuber will be able to prove how serious he is when he posts a video of him in court with a lawyer.

Nearing the end of the screenshots he took of the comments, he pauses on one that had made him enraged. "I'll find out who that is. He doesn't seem very hard to find or get information on. At least we'll know if Spencer is safe."

"Again, no one will try to bother Sam. He has no type of media anyway. But if someone does, I'm prepared to call my lawyer and take anyone to court for violation of privacy. It is against the law to dig into another person's life and post it on the internet." He starts, infuriated. "Just because I post videos and show you a little of my life, doesn't make anyone entitled to know everything about me or my family, my boyfriend. None of you know me in real life, I'm an internet personality, meaning I have two different normals. What I show you guys isn't how I am in real life, you know nothing about me other than what I edit and post. So, stop thinking you know me, enjoy the videos and stop pushing yourselves into my private life. You're not welcome in my relationship or my life outside of videos."

With that, he begins to stop recording, forgoing an outro. Turning the camera off and checking how the files were saved, thinking of editing it that night after he sees Sam off to bed. As he clicks about the computers and listens back to the audio, a ding grabs his attention from the desk by his keyboard. Checking his phone, he grins widely seeing Sam's new reply to his text that was sent before he recorded. 'Sorry, I didn't know I had a message. I just saw it. I'm off work now, though.'

Spencer had sent a message earlier, an hour or two after he had walked Sam to the bakery, telling his boy to make sure he ate the snacks he and the red head made together. They were simply sandwiches with what Sam called a carrot slaw that had carrots, lettuce and strawberries in it, with a clear seasoned sauce that his puppy boy mixed in.

He told the baker to eat on any breaks he could get and that when he did the man wanted to see pictures of him eating, to verify Sam ate. Of which, he hadn't seen or received any pictures. This leads him to call his skittish boyfriend while he gets up out of his gaming chair, putting the ringing phone on speaker to pull his boots on and find a hoodie for Sam.

After three rings, it stops and he hears Sam mumble as others speak in the background. "Hello?"

"Hey, Sammy. Are you waiting for me?" Right when he asks the question, he hears the bell on the bakery door ding as it opens. Sam had agreed, hesitantly, to wait for Spencer to walk him to and from work when he was supposed to go in. He waits inside the bakery until he sees Spencer walking outside the window walls, the kind puppy offers him stuff he baked that night often.

A pause, "oh.." another pause, the ding echoing through the speaker again when it's reopened. "Yea- yes, I'm waiting."

Spencer laughs, grabbing his door keys and taking the phone off speaker, putting the phone to his ear. "You started without me, didn't you?"

He hears a shy, nervous, laugh from his puppy. "No..of course not. I was out- I mean inside the whole time."

"That better be the truth, baby." The man playfully states, putting a laugh in his voice to make sure Sam doesn't think he's in trouble.

Sam whines high in his throat, very faint and soft, only hearable over the phone. "No, no it wasn't the truth. I kinda forgot to wait and was out the door when you called. I'm sorry."

Chuckling, Spencer walks into the elevator. "I know, pup. Thank you for going back inside, I'm on my way right now. Can you grab something you made today? I need something nice and sweet, besides you."

He smirks at the silence he gets, the stutter breath all he needs to hear to know his boy is blushing. After a second, Sam releases a light breath. "Sure. Do you like white chocolate and raspberries?"

"I'll eat anything you make, Sammy. It's always great. Just grab anything and we'll share it."

"Okay. And thank you."

"Did you eat during your breaks and take pictures for me?" The questions gain an excited reply, surprising the man for a moment, before he grins again at how happy Sam sounds.

"Oh! Yes, I did! I promise. I just got distracted by working to remember to send them! I have pictures though!"

Spencer laughs, proud of the baker. "Good boy, Sammy. Show the pics to me when I get there, so I can see. Okay?"

Sam giggles cutely, "Okay. I will."
