On the way home that night after picking Sam up from the bakery, Spencer holds the smaller man to his side and looks through the youngers phone. Sam had willingly given over the device, not minding in giving away the passcode to get in it either. Merely went on to happily go through his day baking, telling Spencer if anything happened and how his boss was overjoyed with the reactions the customers had to the new desserts. The older man listened out of one ear, eyes going from the phone screen to Sam. Spencer goes to the gallery icon first, searching for the pictures he was told were taken.

He sees three pictures, details say they were taken throughout the day when Sam's breaks occur. The first one is just an adorably awkward picture of Sam holding a sandwich, obviously uncertain about what he was doing, as his expression gives away the anxiety he had been feeling. The second picture makes Spencer grin, mainly because it seems someone had interrupted him in taking the selfie. There's a bright orange carrot slice hanging from his lips, of which are glazed with sauce from the slaw Sam made, gray eyes wide and looking up at something; shocked. Moving on to the third is the man's favorite, in it Sam must've been excited. He has his eyes closed, winced cutely with a triangle cut sandwich corner hanging from his closed lips, the full sandwich laying on his chin. To Spencer, this just appears as a piece of the puppy mind in Sam had come out for a little bit. His boy looked as if he was in a puppy mindset and held the sandwich like a toy, he must've been hyper over something at that moment.

The youtuber doesn't bring attention to it, wanting to avoid Sam thinking it's a bad picture and discourage him from taking more. Instead. He highly praises that specific one, saying it's his favorite and showing Sam how he sends the picture to himself. Sam blushed, yet grinned as he hid his red cheeks in the elbow of Spencer's arm. The puppy boy goes on to explain each picture, feeling the need to do so and admits he wasn't certain about taking selfies of him eating.

He also embarrassingly speaks of his coworker walking in on him taking the second picture, that he wasn't aware the picture even saved from how quick he was fumbling to take the selfie and lock the phone. He goes all shy and flushing when prompted about the third picture, biting his bottom lip and hiding in the man's chest as they stop at a crosswalk. Sam reveals that a new, wealthy customer came into the bakery today, a man that had wanted to speak to Sam. Spencer instantly went tense, forcing his muscles to stay relaxed against Sam, yet his mind ran wild with possibilities. Ways to keep Sam his, to scare this other man off. Ways to announce Sam is taken, owned, without a ring or a collar just yet.

Sam went on to say that the man wanted to request a special cake and dessert for a business gathering he is hosting, and that he had been recommended to Sam by another lawyer. The news had made Sam incredibly happy, enough to take such a 'silly picture'. Spencer's mind calmed down only slightly, still very much working on plans to keep Sam on a tight leash. This man could've easily stolen Sam from him, charm the boy or even blackmail him into forgetting Spencer. Money can buy many things, after all. He doesn't think Sam would willingly break up with him, but if someone knew the right combination, they could blackmail the boy into doing it. It's a stretch, but Spencer never thinks as clearly as he should when the thought of someone taking his puppy from him crosses his mind.

However, he grinned and kissed Sam's head as the boy jumped in excitement at remembering what he was personally hired to prepare. Spencer only catches a bit of what his boy gushes about; five tier cake, different flavors, almond buttercream and almond cake. There's a lot of choices is what the man gathers from all of the flavors and types of cake Sam is enthused about. Spencer told his boy how proud he was of Sam for working so hard and getting opportunities such as this new one, which only made Sam beam brighter then he probably ever has before.

It was a shock for the baker, who had never expected someone to come to him personally to request a dessert. The last party he baked for came through the bakery itself, no one came to him besides his boss. This time, a man in a fancy, expensive suit walked in the shop on his phone. His boss had pushed Sam through the doors of the kitchen to speak with the strange man when he was asked about, to which he was intimidated instantly.

The man had such an air about him, as if every second cost him thousands of dollars. The suit threw Sam off, the way the man spoke and what he said he did for a living. A CEO of a big building in the city, a building that deals with stocks and money in large amounts. Apparently, this CEO had just signed an important contract and wants to celebrate with a huge, five tiered cake that has various flavors in it.

It'll be a giant project for the small baker, his boss has already cleared his schedule of other desserts and asked more coworkers to be available to work. Sam wants to try preparing the cake himself, although the more he thinks on the steps he'll need to do and the limited time he has, he's considering another person to help. Creating so many various cake batters and baking them would be time consuming all by himself, including add-ons and icing or fillings. It would take too long to do all alone, he wouldn't make it to half by the due date.

On the way home, Sam decides to ask Spencer for any advice, knowing the man doesn't understand the basics of baking, but still curious what he'll say.

"Do you think I should ask for help, you know, for this one big project?" He blurts after his rush of excited gushing, curious and eager to know what the man thinks.

His boyfriend, who had turned his full attention to Sam rather than going through the tabs on the baker's phone. He was glancing over the searched and website tabs to see what his puppy was looking at, without permission, but Sam doesn't appear bothered. Spencer simply couldn't resist, eager and unwilling to attempt to control his obsession that demands to see and know everything about his boy. The man smiles, curling his arm tighter around the shoulder it rests on. "Not sure what it all entails, but I think it'd be a huge help to have someone with you. Lessen the stress, yeah?"

He watches Sam nod with a small, content smile. "Yea, it would be a good help. But I don't know who to ask, Charlie wouldn't be able to come here in time."

"Well, I'd offer to help, but I'd probably poison everything accidently." The youtuber jokes, grinning at Sam's giggle. "How about you ask one of your coworkers? Surely they know the basics of baking and I'll come by if you get overwhelmed by them or the project."

Seeing the logic in that and having already slightly considered that very idea, the baker agrees. "Yea, that'd make more sense. Thank you!"

Spencer manages to convince Sam to spend the night in his own apartment across the hall for the first time, yet Sam hesitates at first. It'll be the first time they have slept in the same area, let alone the same room or bed. He doesn't want to embarrass himself or see something he shouldn't in Spencer's home. However, his boyfriend had said they'd walk the dogs, then all sit to watch a movie before bed. He liked the thought of the dogs being inside Spencer's apartment with him, giving him added comfort and security.

After their evening walk, Spencer led them to his door and allowed Sam to be pulled inside by the dogs. Sam wasn't expecting the man's apartment to be bigger than his own, but it is. While his home is a one bedroom and tiny with only the bathroom having walls, the rest of the layout is open. Spencer's is a two bedroom with a decent sized kitchen and not as open as Sams. The door opens into the living area that is opened up into the kitchen, a bathroom is tucked off into the far corner and a tiny hall leads to the bedrooms. It's big enough for a sectional sofa and a large, smart tv that hangs on the wall.

The dogs explore and sniff the new surroundings, while Spencer pulls Sam to sit on the couch with him. The man allows Sam to study his new surroundings, merely snatches the remote off the black coffee table to flick the tv on. Sam goes wide-eyed at the beautifully vibrant display that seems more like a movie theater than a tv in a living room, the sound speakers on either side of the flat screen give the feel of a theater too. The bass and voices of whatever show is on when the tv comes to life rumbles through Sam's chest, able to feel every drop of music or raised voices.

Spencer smirks at the mystified expression the expensive tv receives, oddly proud that something he bought obviously pleases Sam, no matter how shyly the boy tries to hide it. Glancing around the room the man searches for the dogs, vaguely wondering how they like his apartment. He finds Fenrir doing a perimeter check, the older Dobermann walks the length of each room he is able to go inside, goes through the small hallway with his nose sniffing the walls and corners, the floor. Spencer doesn't stop him, he understands the animal is just making sure the area is safe and trying to find whatever he deems dangerous.

The other two, Cerberus, the giant puppy of a Great Dane, and Orthrus, the hyper youngest boxer. He finds them wrestling next to the corner of the sectional, clearly content to be in this space with the humans. Sam gazes over at his dogs, relaxing nearly fully at the sight of them happy and hyper, petting Fenrir's head when the older animals come to sit directly next to his legs, his search done and pleased enough to sit now.

"Why don't you change into something comfortable with me, Sammy? Would you be okay with some pjs that don't fit me anymore and a hoodie?" Sam considers this, pondering why running over to his apartment and change wasn't an option he was given, but ignoring it for now.

Hesitantly, he fiddles with Fenrir's ear, gently petting it and folding the tip. The animal leans his head into the human's hand, not bothered by the touch. "Uh...whatever you're willing to let me borrow."

His boyfriend laughs, kissing his head as the man stands up. "Okay, babe. Stay here and I'll go change then find you something. You can go through the channels, find something to watch before bed. Yeah?"

He watches Sam nod with a shy smile, grinning before walking off into the hall that should lead to his bedroom. The baker slowly grabs the remote and, to himself, awkwardly goes through the guide on the tv. He doesn't have cable on his own tiny tv, and doesn't necessarily need anything besides movies. The guide is new to him, yet he finds shows that seem interesting and different cartoon channels that remind him of his childhood and has the strange urge to watch them again.

Eventually, he comes across a movie channel that is playing a loud action movie with gigantic dinosaurs. He recognizes the movie, one he hadn't been interested in watching at the time of release, but Spencer appears to enjoy these types of movies. He leaves the man-eating dinosaurs on the screen, head turning at the sound of footsteps. His large boyfriend comes back wearing new black sweatpants and a tank top, in his hand is a hoodie and a pair of thin pants that have a blood splatter design on them.

The man sits and lays the clothes on his boys' lap, watching Sam pick the white pants up and look at the vibrant bloody red in the splat pattern. The baker looks up at him, the sleeping pants, then back to him. "Please tell me they came this way and you're not a secret killer."

A shocked, pleasantly surprised, laugh escapes Spencer, who wraps his arm around his small puppy. Playfully, "Baby, I can't promise anything about the killer part, but they came that way."

Sam gasps, playing along and continuing to amaze the youtuber with these new mischievous attitudes he's seeing from his boy. Sam is grinning, feeling strangely safe in the apartment now after spending a few minutes inside. "You're not gonna kill me are you? I don't wanna die yet."

"No, no, not kill." Smirking, Spencer tackles Sam down on the couch, leaning over him carefully and nipping at the skin of his throat softly, just enough to tickle. Sam squeals, giggling and squirming under the bulk of the man. The breath and light scrape of teeth stroking a sensitive patch of skin that causes an involuntary series of laughter, his own lungs fighting for air between the chaos of giggles. Finally the man relents, leaning back to observe Sam under him, trapped between his arms and unable to move away.

The normally dull, gray tone of the boys' skin is now a vivid scarlett of flush from laughing and blushing, the faded blue of hair is tangled and messy, the slender chest rising and falling with pants as he attempts to catch his breath. The red hue goes up to his ears and down along his throat, where there are faint hints of moistened skin from the humidity of Spencer's breath and the closeness of them, his teeth as well when he actually made contact with the skin. Seeing Sam below him like this, all flushed and out of breath, sparks a fire in his gut he knows he can't add to.

His puppy is so sweet, adorable and good, it's tempting to just take and never let go. However, being aware that Sam isn't ready for such a huge shift in their relationship from innocent to sexual, he pulls his mind off that cliff.

Instead he places a soft kiss to the corner of the boys' lips, lowering his voice into a whisper to continue the teasing conversation they were having. "You're much too gorgeous to kill, Imma need to keep you."

Sam goes a lovely pink again at this, covering his face and laughing. Asking between his fingers, curious and playing in equal amounts, voice muffled slightly. "Is that all you'll keep me for?"

He peeks out through his fingers, seeing the smirk that slides on the man's lips at the question. Spencer shakes his head, hand rising to caress long fingers through Sam's hair above his ear. "Of course not, Baby. I'm keeping you because you're such a good boy for me and I can't possibly give that up."

The term makes Sam's chest warm and his breathing to stutter, such delight in hearing it that he doesn't know what to do or say except laugh in his glee and hide his face in Spencer's wrist with a whine. HIs boyfriend chuckles, yet allows him to hide for a moment before pulling him to sit up as the man moves. Kissing the baker's head, Spencer pats his lower back. "You better go get changed before we get distracted even more. The bathroom is over there, or you can use my room down the hall to the right. Are these clothes okay?"

His puppy nods, hugging the pile of clothes to his chest and moves for the hall. Spencer grins, proud that the skittish boy is comfortable with him enough to be teasing and step into his bedroom by himself. While he waits, Spencer grabs two water bottles from his fridge and fixes water bowls for the dogs. Taking a handful of granola bars from his cabinet to, to give Sam something to snack on before bed and during the movie. The movie channel appears to be having a marathon on man-eating creatures tonight, which could work in the man's favor if Sam gets spooked easily.

He could act as a shield if his puppy decides cuddling him is more fun than the people being killed by sharp teeth. Once Sam reveals himself, Spencer needs to bite down on his tongue to control his urges. While the pants are baggy and the hoodie is similar to a short nightgown on him, the boy is sex appeal to his boyfriend. He had rolled the bottoms of the pants up over his feet, yet they fall back down when he walks. The hoodie sits at his mid-thigh, sleeves covering his hands and one shoulder is visible completely.

"You're gonna wear my clothes everywhere," Spencer announces, semi-seriously.

Sam laughs, "I actually kinda like this hoodie. It's really soft inside."

Grinning, the youtuber pulls Sam down on the couch with him, stretching his long legs out and situating Sam between his thighs. Seemingly content with his placement, Sam snuggles into the man's torso and lays on his side to watch the movie better. With a hand in his hair soothingly petting him and a warm body under his, Sam falls asleep easier than usual.
