2018 barely started and yet one of the biggest things that happened this year, that doesn't involve politics or gun-violence, was the childhood ruining and ending closure of an Iconic brand that Kids have been accustomed to for decades. I am of course talking about, Toys R Us.

Sorry for making you guys sad. But you now have to grow up, your no longer a Toys R Us Kid. 😭

For those that don't read the news anymore, in which case I don't blame you, Toys R Us back in September 2017 announced they filed for bankrupcy, and then in mid-march 2018, Toys R Us announced that all theirs stores in the US and The UK will be closing permanently because they couldn't pay their bills on time.

And before we start blaming the flying drone in the room, no Amazon wasnt a direct cause of it.

Look as a kid we don't care about how much things cost, that was our parents job, but when your old enough to buy your own stuff, and care about what cost how much. What I'm saying is, Toys R Us was ripping your parents off.

Yep, Toys R Us' downfall was the fact they charged more for toys than Wal-Mart or Target.

Yeah, miss it now?

Well if you do, when you ignore the prices they tend to hold some of our most nostalgic memories. Something people say is what my high school memories would be......boy were they wrong about that!

Look despite being the only store where your parents wallet sprouts legs and run away, we still have memorues if going to toys r us. I know I do. That where I got my first bike, and the second bike I never used.........I sucked without training wheels sadly, cars seem much easier all of a sudden.

Of course while Toys R Us is going away, what the hell is FYE's excuse?

Admit you forgot that one store in the mall trying to be a tiny best buy still existed too.

Now there is a way to save toys r us. Not through a typical change.org campaign, through a fundraiser by the company MGA toys.

So we have to help fund a billion dollars to a billionaire to help save toys r us? Maybe he matching it I don't know!

Sure I'm upset Toys R Us is going away but it was inevitable. Plus lets be honest when was the last time you went to Toys R Us and didn't have a little kid with yah? BE HONEST!
