"Oakpelt has been voted guilty! Trouttail innocent, Oakpelt you must leave." Shardstar announced.

Oakpelt glared at the clans with a snarl I never did anything! You will regret this." He turned and ran up the hollow and disappeared into the unknown territory.

"And on a better note I know of three kits who are ready to become apprentices."

Cheetahkit, Leopardkit, and Jaguarkit raced over to their leader.

(Skip over the ceremony yatta yatta yatta)

Cheetahpaw touched noses with Shardstar, Leopardpaw with Birchpad and Jaguarpaw with Snowspots.

Shardstar had switched Daisypaw's mentor to Stripetail due to the fact that the only other cats who could mentor Jaguarpaw would've been his parents.

The cats began to gather and head out on patrols.

All four apprentices and their mentors headed off together.

Gimgerfrost layed down in some shade panting. Her belly heaving with every breath. Mistpelt, Lightpetal and her kits all stayed back in the hollow.

The kits played unaware of the horrors going on around them.

Fogears was hunting along with Cloudgazer, Shadowtail, Paleface, and Specklerunner nd Stripetail. They could hear the rambunctious new apprentices nearby.

Fogears started stalking a crow in the shadows when a cat zoomed in a slashed his throat quickly before running away.

"Take these." The first murderer whispered to the third murderer passing them some death berries. "You know what to do."
The third murderer nodded eagerly and took the berries carefully.

Cloudgazer was carrying a dove back towards where he had last seen his brother. He saw a tail sticking out from around a bush. He dropped his dove with a screech and raced over to his brother.

"No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No." Cloudgazer repeated over and over again distraught.

Shadowtail had heard and come to see the commotion. She sat beside him delicately and gently leaned against him before whispering softly,"Let's get him back to the hollow."

Cloudgazer nodded sadly and watched as she grabbed his dove and a couple mice. Cloudgazer carrying his brother back to the gathering hollow.

The cats were almost all their when they returned.

FlameClan lowered their heads respectively soon followed by the other two clans.
Mistpelt and Paleface were sharing a fish when Mistpelt began to gag. She fell over mouth foaming as Paleface watched in terror.

At the same time Shardstar and Birchpad were sharing a rabbit. Shardstar began to gag. He collapsed leaving Daisypaw and Birchpad standing anxiously over him.

Mistpelt and Shardstar's bodies went still.

The cats began looking at their feet before Mistpelt and Shardstar began breathing again.

"Mistpelt!" Paleface cried in relief as she began nuzzling her mate, "But how?" Paleface asked gently.

"I-I'm your leader." The elderly she-cat rasped.

Birchpad layed beside Shardstar comfortingly.

Paleface looked over at the heavily pregnant Gingerfrost. "You! You took away one of her lives!"

"W-what.." Gingerfrost stuttered shocked standing beside Pikefin.

Pikefin stood beside her glaring back at Paleface, "Gingerfrost wouldn't murder her clanmates!" He snarled protectively.

Birchpad looked over at Specklerunner. "You've always been Shardstar's biggest rival." She huffed.

Cloudgazer looked at Stripetail and growled,"I think you killed my brother."

The three clans looked around eachother uneasily and began to vote.
