so i didn't really bring out the whole father/daughter relationship here that well,, but it's hard to write about damon as your father when i think of him as a whole other kind of daddy

Imagine being Damon's daughter and him being furious when he finds out your boyfriend Klaus cheated on you

 "I'm sorry, what did you just say?"

 Damon Salvatore, your father, stared at Caroline Forbes with nothing but anger on his face, his features shining with rage as he stood there with his fists ready to smack a bitch. But in this case, it wasn't Caroline. In this case, Caroline was the saving angel who had come to Damon with news, bad news, but news nonetheless and after receiving the information the vampire girl had to share, Damon stood now convinced that he was actually going to kill Klaus Mikaelson even if the man could not be killed for good. But Damon would find a way, or then he'd cause eternal torment for Klaus for the rest of his everlasting life by slowly, painfully killing him each and every day with new fun ways to spark the routine.

 "I'm not the biggest fan of the relationship Klaus and Y/N have, but believe me, I'm not too happy about this either. I wouldn't lie, Damon. It's true, Klaus cheated on her. With some red-head bitch from New Orleans, apparently", Caroline shrugged, and gave Damon an apologetic, sad look. She knew how much you meant to Damon, and how much Klaus meant to you, and even if she always had the heart eyes for Klaus herself, she hated the current situation. She was your good friend after all, and close with the Salvatores too and she knew you'd break after hearing your boyfriend of two years had slept with someone else.

 "Oh, I believe you. I trust you way more than I trust his hybrid ass. Which I am going to kick. I will, I swear to god, kill him", Damon grunted unhappily, and walked past Caroline who turned to look at the vampire who walked out of the Salvatore boarding house angrily, and with determination. Determination to kill Klaus, the bastard for whom he had given his daughter only for her heart to be broken. Caroline opened her mouth to protest and disagree, but only a sigh came out as she watched Damon go, knowing that she couldn't change his mind either.

 Damon started making his way towards the Mikaelson mansion where you were with Klaus, who had bothered to confess his sins. You were crying, obviously, why wouldn't you? Your heart had been broken, and you found no other way to express it except sobbing uncontrollably on your knees on the floor. You had given your heart to Klaus, only for him to crush it so painfully. You had been so deeply in love with him, and still were, which made you want to hate yourself, and him too, but you couldn't do either.

 "Love, please forgive me. It was a mistake I made during a state of intoxication. I promise it didn't mean a thing, love, just please get up and stop crying", Klaus begged, his voice cracking and his accent nearly impossible to understand. He was heartbroken too, he had done a mistake, just one little mistake that could cost him the one thing he cared about. He hated it, but he couldn't go back in time and change it even if he wanted to.

 "I know there's nothing I can do to change it", Klaus whispered, "but is there something...", but he couldn't finish when the front door flew open and a furious Damon stormed in.

 His eyes fell on you, his daughter, crying on the floor at Klaus' feet, and it made him growl with pure rage. He shot a deadly glare to Klaus, who noticed and took a step back, not wanting to fight but Damon had other thoughts. He had made a great mistake when he handed your heart to Klaus, willing to watch aside as he'd break it and now he was going to fix things when Klaus himself could not. You were Damon's daughter after all, and he was always going to protect you, especially from jerks like the Original Hybrid.

 "You son of a bitch. I will disintegrate you", Damon growled and flashed to Klaus, breaking his arm to make him weak so he'd get the upper hand. Damon kicked him down to the floor, and as he threatened to smack Klaus' head off, you got up to your feet and begged for your father to stop while the tears continued to stream down on your face.

 "Stop, dad, please stop!", you cried out and grabbed Damon from his arm, giving him a heartbroken look. "I love him. I believe him. He did wrong, but he can make it right again, I know he can. I believe him, it was meaningless. And I believe in him", you continued, sadness shining in your eyes as you looked at your father in sorrow. He opened his mouth to say something, but instead, he just dropped Klaus who was gasping for air and grunting as he slowly healed. You sighed out in relief, and felt your body relax, but before you had time to say something, Damon snapped your boyfriend's neck and Klaus fell lifelessly onto his face, earning a shout from you even if you knew he'd come back to life.

 "He cheated on you, sweetheart. I can't understand what you see in him and why you continue to have hope on him. But just remember, when he finally breaks your heart so awfully it cannot be fixed, I'll be waiting home with open arms", Damon said sadly and took you in his arms, kissing your cheek softly. You nodded, and felt him wipe your tears away while softly whispering, "I love you", to which you replied the same way.

 You sat down onto the floor when Damon, who was still infuriated but for you remained calm, left the house. You looked at Klaus, and smiled weakly, having trouble with believing that you continued to love him despite all his flaws and mistakes. But maybe that was made you strong. The fact that you were able to love him even if he was bad. And even if it caused you heartache. But you knew that leaving him would too, so you bravely sat by his side until he finally woke up.

 Gasping, Klaus came back to life and your body immediately tensed up. Klaus' eyes flickered over to you, and he seemed rather surprised when he saw you there, but definitely happy. "Love, you stayed", he said, fondly smiling, "I did not think you would. I-I broke your heart, did I not?", feeling guilty and sad about what he did but you just shrugged.

 "To me the very definition of broken suggests that something can be fixed", you let out, making Klaus chuckle.

 "You have been listening my brother, love. Though at this point, I am in no position to complain", he laughed, and you did the same. "I love you, Y/N, forgive me for being so foolish. I don't wish to lose you, ever, and therefore I hope that you can accept my apology and my willingness to mend the crack I caused in your beautiful, golden heart", Klaus continued then, making you smile and feel warm and happy inside out. You knew that you were with the right man, even though he was a villain who sometimes did bad things, but nonetheless he was your boyfriend and you'd love him through everything.

 "I love you too", you just whispered, hoping that counted as accepting his apology as he wished you to. You allowed him to pull you into a hug, and closed your eyes while holding your head against his chest, listening to the silence in him, his stopped heart, the nonexistent proof of him being alive. Perhaps he was dead, yet you made him feel alive, as you sat there, your body against his and your forgiveness given.

 Like he promised, he never cheated on you again. Though that didn't mean Damon didn't kick his ass once in a while.
