How spirits work: Part 6

Another fascinating concept of the soul is the possibility of soul-to-soul communication, which could also be called spiritual communication, essentially an open spiritual channel between two people. Some people relate this to the concept of holistic healing.

For obvious reasons this phenomenon has been relegated to the paranormal. That's understandable, but is it possible for souls to communicate? That's an excellent question, but the answer is yes, especially if you consider the soul to be like a quantum computer brain. Remember that quantum superposition allows communication over immense distances in real time. It's what Einstein called 'Spooky action at a distance'. He probably associated spooky with ghosts or spirits.

If we accept that our souls are linked to our brains, then we could engage in spiritual communications, not only with the living but also the dead. The reason this is possible is because the soul never dies. However, unlike a séance, which is fake, spiritual communication with the deceased must be strictly in the mind. A séance involves actually hearing or seeing the ghost of a deceased. Spiritual communication involves no actual physical presence or sound. The communication takes place in the mind, not the body, and it's never through a third party.

But, how is one able to do this spiritual communication? Many of the methods involve meditation, which is a non-verbal method of getting in touch with our inner self or consciousness. This involves communicating with your own soul, and there are a number of things that can be accomplished using this concept. The most important is self-healing, both emotional and spiritual. Most of these procedures involve making your mind blank so that it is sensitive to spiritual energy. Only then will you sense communication on the spiritual channel. Actually, this is the correct way to pray, but most people rely on rote memory of familiar prayers. True prayer is from the heart, not from some scripted prayer.

The most powerful use of soul communication is with a 'soul' mate. The concept of soulmate goes back to ancient times and Plato. However, in most cases the idea of soulmate is more of an emotional relationship, but it could involve more than an emotional relationship.

For the most part a soulmate is someone that you have established both a physical and an emotional attachment. But, could you and your soulmate be connected by soul-to-soul communication? This would make it much more than an involved relationship like marriage. Two souls linked spiritually would be the ultimate love relationship. Soul-to-soul communication would allow two lovers to stay in contact even when separated, and especially after the death of one of the partners. Could this mean that you would be reunited in a more physical manner after death? That's a distinct possibility.

Spiritual communication is the ultimate relationship with God, and it could explain much of what religions have failed to reveal. However, I realize that a lot of this sounds like New Age spirituality, but I would rather think of it as a quantum solution to the spiritual realm.
