I wake up and instead of being in the vault, I find myself back at my house at Patch, and standing in front of my is my sister Yang

Yang: C'mon sis, I know that the Vytal festival Was tiring, but you can't just sleep through the rest of spring break

I got ready the same as normal, but what I found downstairs was completely unexpected

I couldn't believe it if I wasn't seeing it, dad, uncle Qrow, Auntie Raven,  Even my Team, JNPR, and Pyrrha are her, I guess she's still alive since the fall never happened, but once again, I turn and find something I never expected to see

Ruby: *stops crying* huh

the moment that happened, everything was gone, I looked as hard as I could, but I couldn't see anyone

Ruby: Dad... Mom... Sis... Uncle Qrow... Oscar... anyone here

I move further until I find Pyrrha just sitting in the void

Ruby: Pyrrha *runs to her* thank goodness your all r-

I was wrong, she was not all right, She was a complete corpse, with nothing to show except for a arrow straight through her chest

Ruby: *Stuttering* hey, c-c-come on, your gonna be okay

???: How pathetic

I pull out crescent rose and turn around to see

Ruby: What are you?

Ruby?: Isn't it obvious, I'm you

Ruby: But that's impossible, I'm me

Ruby?: I know, I'm the other part of you, the part that realized the truth.

Ruby: the truth?

Ruby?: Yes Ruby the truth, just look around you

I turn to see Pyrrha's death at beacon

Ruby?: You try to deny it, but you had her right in your grasps, you could have saved her

Ruby: n-no, SHUT UP

I try to run away, once again I turn to see Brunswick's Farm

Ruby?: oh would you look at that, your whole team, just on the verge of giving up, maybe that wouldn't have happened if you chose to keep your fat mouth shut and not ask anything

Ruby: they deserved to learn the truth, we deserved to know

Ruby? there it is again, you keep on placing in front all these excuses, but in reality, you and your friends have almost and have died before, you can't Hide it from me, we are one in the same

I want to scream for help, I want to run, but I just can't move

Y/N POV (a couple minutes before)

I just arrived back with the rest of my team back to the theatre, meeting everyone else back at the theatre

Burro: Yo Y/N what took you so long, your teams the last one here

Me: sorry, just got caught up with some things that I needed to take care of

Mog: but you've been gone for a while, Tikki and Plagg are already sneaking around with Dos, what could've happened that could take you so-

Winter: YOU

The moment I heard that I immediately moved out of the way, turns out that was the right call, winter charged past where I was and stabbed straight through the wall

Weiss: Sister please, calm down

Blake: yeah your sisters on to something, you're acting more brash than Yang

Winter: No, he needs to give us answers *turns to me* where have you been all this time, Atlas has been compromised

Me: *sigh* look winter, I know your mad at me, I know that most people from the Rwby Universe are mad at me for not showing up don't say anything Salem, Cinder or Neo, but in all honesty, I had no choice

Blake: What do you mean, it's not like you to care how some things may stop you

Me: I know, it's just that that this is different, even as a Guardian, there are limitations, you see-

All Rwby universe + Y/N: RUBY!

we rushed over as fast as we could to the cry, and stopped by the door to see Ruby crying and crouching, we backed away for a moment to talk

Me (whisper): okay, whose bright idea was it to Leave Rwby sleeping alone in a room when the last thing she saw was her own sisters death

Whitley: well considering what she just went through, I thought it would make the most sense to give her some space

Me: okay, listen, I'm going to walk there and talk to her alone, considering the state she's in, she deserves to know the whole truth more than anyone in this room

everyone was skeptical about me talking to Ruby first, especially Yang who was her sister

Me: Yang as crazy as some things been, you showing up after just seeing you dead might cause a panic attack or something worse, we need to break to her lightly ok

Yang, forced to admit that it was a fair point, begrudgingly admits defeat and moves out of the way, so that I may walk in

Me: ruby?

Ruby: huh Oh *wipes tears* hi Y/N, It's been a while

Me: yeah it has, hey is everything okay

Ruby: huh what do you mean, everything is fine

Me: You sure, we heard you screaming, did you have a bad dream

Ruby: what Psh, no its all good, everything is fine *sweats*

Me: okay, but just to let you know, it wasn't your fault

Ruby: what?

Me: Ruby I've known you for quite a while now, top that off with a few new learned psychic abilities, and you can't hide anything from me

Ruby: *begins tearing up*, but it is my fault, had I tried to stop them, but I couldn't it was all me, it was all my-

Me: IF ANYONE DESERVES THE BLAME ITS ME

Ruby: ...what?

Me: you tried to stop them, you may haven't succeed, but you tried, I didn't, I knew months, nay Years in advance that these events were going to occur, and all I did was nothing, I couldn't save anyone but not because failed to save them, but because I never did

Ruby: but why, why didn't you ever say anything about, why didn't you save them

Me: In reality, Guardians influences aren't completely limitless, we have some rules. as you know already, the multiverse is run by balance, and a Guardians duty is to run by balance, but as for how Guardians can influence it is not on a basis of simple black and white, rather the importance of the events. There's a whole lot more complected explanations but in short, it means that there are some events that are too integral to the events of the universe itself, no matter what, I can never tamper with these events, because doing so could literally destroy the entire universe

Ruby: so your saying that Pyrrha, Penny all of them

Me: yeah, all of them needed to happened, they were integral to not only the universe, but the future events as well, had neither of them died, Jaune would never have reached his full potential, and Cinder would most likely have the Winter maidens powers, both easily tipping the scales not to mention the continued influence of an existing person to universal balance

Ruby:...

Me: I see that your silent, I don't want to ask you to forgive me, heck I wouldn't be able to forgive myself with this, but I just wanted you to hear me out

Ruby:... how

Me: what exactly do you mean by how

Ruby: how do you do it, you believe that your the cause of their deaths, yet you never let it bring you down, like you never blamed yourself or thought about it before, how do you get over it

Me: well first off that is completely wrong

Ruby: huh

Me: I do think about it, everyday, thinking about if I tried looking through more possibilities to compensate, thinking about if I decided to just break the rules again and save them anyone, and I think about how in the end, it was my fault due to knowing what would happen, and never doing anything. but you see the difference lies not in getting over it, it's what you do with it. I don't let these happenings or faults block me or stop me from helping others, every action had an important influence in the universe, and I am more than willing to carry it out. Pyrrha may have died, but I will do whatever possible to train Jaune to be the best for her memory. you may have fallen in the vault, but I will do everything in my power to bring you back. you see its not about blaming yourself to stop yourself, it's about using the blame to ensure a life like that is never lost again, do you get me

Ruby: I think I do, but it still doesn't stop it from all just feeling so hopeless

Me: well don't forget, you're not just Ruby, your Ruby of team RWBY, you have a whole team waiting just behind that door, and hey, if you need anyone to talk to, or cry to, we're all here, so come on, bring it in

Ruby couldn't hold it in any longer, she latched on to me and started crying, I hugged her tight, and soon, everyone else came in when she was done, she noticed everyone was here, I gave her a head pat and left the room to give her some time alone with her team, Winter however chose to wait outside for me

Winter: so, what you said, was it all true

Me: Winter, if I was able to without risking the destruction of the multiverse, I would go back a thousands times over to try and get you all the best ending. I'm not asking for forgiveness, I just wanted yo to hear me out

Winter: and as for Team Ruby

Me: for something like this, I am able to bend the rules a bit and say that yes, wherever the Vault sent them they are alive and well, whether they'll come back, is something left to them

Winter: I see, then Y/N, if anyone should be sorry, it's me, I have only started thinking for myself recently and never thought about your perspective of this whole thing

Me: it's alright, seeing as how everything has happened, it only makes sense *Rwby and Jnr leave the room* now then lets go, wouldn't want to keep them waiting for too long

*Time skip*

It took a while but, now we're all here in the theatre together, so now it's time

Y/N: Everyone, I thank you all for coming, it's been a long journey for all of us, amassing several stories and adventure to tell for each of our worlds, so while the universes are frozen in time, lets take a break, have some fun, and watch what some of those adventures had in store *fistpump*

Everyone: YEAH *fistpump*

Y/N: So Sheath, a deals a deal, your team was the first to make it back, do you have any ideas on what you want to watch first
