I winced as a scream tore through the silence followed by a crack. I scowled knowing perfectly well that my hard work was ruined and more work was added to my bucket.

After that other than small whimpers no other screams were heard, for which I was great full.

Feeling 'his' gaze on me I raised my head only to be captured by his steely grey eyes. He was looking at me like a predator which cause my breath to hitch.

For every predator needed a prey and looks like he has chosen me as one.

I tensed as he flashed before me and grabbed my hand. My mind got numb as he lifted it to his lips and kissed just above my pulse point. The place where his lips touched was on fire. I felt the temperature rise around us and I was sure that he could hear my fast beating heart, which was desperately trying to free itself from it's cage.

Feeling him smirk against my skin, jolted me out of my frozen state. Immediately I yanked my hand but to my dismay it didn't even budge in his iron grip.

Suddenly I found myself being dragged through the dungeons and through various corridors. I couldn't decide whether to try and stop or keep up with his long strides. He didn't even look back at me or care about the fear rolling off of me in waves.

Throwing open the doors of a majestic room fit for a king, he threw me on the bed with inhuman force. I was too shocked to comprehend my current situation which gave him the perfect opportunity to get on top of me.

Securing my hands above my head he collided his lips with mine, which jolted me out of my stupor.

My hands bound and with him straddling my waist, left no room for escape. Tears filled my eyes as he went down to my neck, leaving small kisses on his way.

I bit my lip as he licked my throat and without a care sank his fangs to steal my life away.

All sort off questions were running through my mind but biggest of them all was "why me?". I lost my awareness and slipped into oblivion while listening to the sounds he was making.

I woke up with a gasp, eyes wide with fear and breathing hard. It took me moment to realize that I was back in my room. I tried getting up but a hiss left my lips as the pain made it self known. Every particle of my body was screaming in protest as I got up and slowly dressed my self.

Knowing I won't be allowed a day off, I went to kitchen to satisfy my growling stomach. While eating my small breakfast I mused on the words that head cook told me.

I was out for two freaking days.

This news had left a bitter taste in my mouth.

And the fact that majority of slaves here knew this because ever since I came in the kitchen I was subjected to their sympathetic gaze.

Quickly finishing my breakfast, I went to library but mid way I cursed.

The prisoner. I thought bitterly as I went down to the dungeons.

Standing before him, I realized he desperately needed a bath but knowing that he won't get any decent one I brought a bucket and some clean clothes. After what use it will be to treat him and then leave him dirty.

"I guess asking 'How are you?' would be pointless. So let's start with introductions. My name's Andrey and yours?" I asked while studying him. Brown hair paired with hazel eyes, common yet handsome features and a fit body which could only be gained after years of hard work.

His features were not the only thing I was studying. Broken nose, a dislocated shoulder, a broken wrist and some broken fingers. Ouch, that would hurt like a bitch when setting straight. I thought with a wince. But at least the feat were untouched.

Not receiving an answer I started working. After cleaning him I set his nose and shoulder straight. Not a sound left his lips which impressed me quite a lot.

Eying his fingers I decided to treat them while he was unconscious. He still hadn't answered me and I didn't want to ask again so the awkward silence grew between us.

"Name's Alan?" His raspy voice broke my deep concentration but I didn't stop him after all he could be a possible ally.
