Reina: An Evillious character x Reader fanfic! Well, not really.... Elluki Clockworker is genderbent Elluka, and Elluka has that weird situation going on.....

Anyhow, I'm ignoring it for this fic. I might tweak a bit of Story of Evil for this. For example I made Elluki (Elluka) defect to Lucifena earlier to get away with this.

Yoh represents Yohioloid and Mayu represents the HER.

Lucifena, 570 something (Translation: Author-chan is lazy to look up the date.)

"I now present to you King Arth and Queen Anne of Lucifena!" The priest stated.

Cheers erupted through the ballroom as King Arth and Queen Anne sit on their thrones. You were quite happy for them, as Anne was your childhood friend and you wished for her to have a happy life. You were surprised that Arth had interest in her, as you assumed that someone else would marry the king.

But nothing could stand in the way of true love.....

You flinch and look at your hand. You were merely 17 years old, but already you had lost your fiancé to death, and it hadn't even been a year. Yoh was killed by a Beelzenian female. He died protecting you from her, and as she gloated over his death, you grabbed Yoh's sword and sliced her in half. You were lucky to never be charged with the woman's death, but something told you that Anne had something to do with it.

You stood near Leonhart as King Arth began to talk. You watched as the King began to talk about expanding the kingdom to increase its influence.

"How does it feel to be one of Queen Anne's bodyguards?" Leonhart whispers.

You sigh. "No difference. I was always with Anne when we weren't studying...."

Leonhart nods. "Yeah... You, Anne, and Prim were inseparable, (Y/N)."

You nod once more, focusing more on the ceremony.

You watched as Prim gave Arth and Anne her blessing before she walked off. Prim's behavior seemed a bit off, but granted, she was always like that. You assumed it was because she was snotty. You watched as she left, winking at you as she passed.

Leonhart elbows you. "Look, it's the Mage of Time."

You look to your left and gasp. A handsome had entered the court, drawing the eye of everyone there. His robe was black, lined with gold ribbon and with a gold clasp near the top. He wore some pink clothing underneath, but what drew you the most attention were his eyes. They were blue and full of fun, as if he wanted to play a game.

"Elluki Clockworker," you whispered.

Growing up, you had heard all about Elluki. How he traveled around and investigated the Banica Conchita incident. How he saved towns from droughts by summoning rain. How he had powerful magic and lived for centuries. And how he always wanted to have fun and do his own thing.

To be frank, you had a crush on this man for years, but that was when he was a mere legend. You assumed that once you married Yoh, your crush on Elluki would disappear.

However, seeing this man in person made you hope once more.

Leonhart coughed, snapping you back to reality. Elluki was gone, and you couldn't help but sigh in sadness.

"(Y/N)," Leonhart called.

You look him in the eye. "Yes?"

He smiles sadly. "You and I know that we can never be with the ones we truly desire."

You try not to let that crush you. Leonhart was right - It would be impossible. Elluki wasn't interested in romance, and he had plenty to do. Even then, he would likely live for a few more hundred years, while you would have died at some point. It was doomed.... Just like how Leonhart could never marry Anne....

Leonhart places a hand on your shoulder. "Come, (Y/N). To the feast."

You allowed Leonhart to drag you away, trying to smile for your friend and not think about your own failed love life.

Reina: Poor reader-chan. And Yohioloid. I like Yohioloid.....

Anyway, I've always wanted to use Elluki Clockworker. But he didn't actually do much.....
