Ever since Kaiden got that phone call, he hasn't come back. The girls and I have been just sitting around talking.

Honestly, I have to admit that this night has been fun. L.A people know how to party.

I look around and see that the backyard has more people than it had before. I lock eyes with a dark brown pair and realize that's Hayden.

He's leaning against the fence with some other people. They seem to be in a conversation but he's not paying them any attention.

We hold eye contact for a few minutes but he breaks it and turns back to his friends.

What the fuck was that?

I turn back to my friends and tell them I'm gonna go get a drink. I get up and go back inside the kitchen. Grabbing the tequila, I pour a shot and quickly down it.

Am I trying to get drunk? No. Do I have a high alcohol tolerance? Yes.

"Aaliyah you came!" A voice yells.

I turn my head and I see a smiling Grayson standing there. He has his arm wrapped around a girl's waist who's smiling up at him and giggling.

"Oh hey. Yeah, I decided to come."

"So this is Emily. Emily meets Aaliyah,
Aaliyah meets Emily."  Grayson introduces us.

"Hi, I'm Aaliyah." I give a smile.

"Hi, I'm Emily. I love your hair." She compliments me.

"Thank you." I smile at her.

"So what brings you to the party?" Grayson asks to grin.

I hold up the bottle of tequila. "This and my friends."

Grayson's eyes widen when I mention my friends. "I wanna meet them."

"My friends? Oh, they're out in the back."

"Well come on then." Grayson and Emily walk out back before I can even say no.  I put now the bottle of tequila and follow them outside.

"Where are they?"

"Over here."

Grayson and Emily follow me over to where my friends are.

"Hey, guys."

"hey, your back," Kinsley says.

"Yeah. So I would like to introduce y'all to someone. This is Grayson."

My friend's eyes widen. "The Grayson?" Kinsley asks.

"The one and only," Grayson says bowing dramatically.

"Hi, I'm Emily." The girl waves.

"Hi, Emily."

"Hey."

"Well I'm Kinsley and this is Jocelyn."

"I'm Grayson."  We all chuckled at that.

"So you guys enjoying the party?" He asks.

"Hell yeah. This party is so lit." Kinsley replies.

"Fuck yeah it is. Kaleb always throws the best parties. His are never boring."

"Oh, they're so much fun," Emily says giggling.

Does this girl ever stop giggling? Like damn.

"So what grade are you in Emily?"

"I'm a junior."

"Oh, you're a junior? That's cool."

"Yeah. Are you guys juniors too?"

"No, we're seniors," I say.

"Oh my god, that is so cool."

"Wait don't I have a class with you two?" Grayson points to Kinsley and Jocelyn.

"Yeah, we have PE and Psychology together."

"Oh yeah. I remember now."

"Hey, can we go back inside?" Emily asks Grayson.

"Don't you wanna stay out here for a while?"

"Yeah but-," she whispers something in his ear and suddenly Grayson's eyes go wide.

"Wow um it was so nice talking to you guys but we have to go. Bye! Enjoy the party!"

She pulls him away and he follows her back inside the house.

It's so obvious what they're gonna do.

I look at Kinsley and Jocelyn and we share this look. They went inside too to have sex.

I know I'm being blunt but that's what it is.

"Think he's gonna come back?"

"Nah I doubt it."

"Yeah me too."

"Hey, sis! What's up?" My brother appears out of nowhere and is standing right beside me.

I jump a little. "Dude, what the fuck?" I glare at him.

"What?" He asks in fake confusion.

"I've told you so many times to stop sneaking up on me like that."

"You did? Hmm, I can't seem to remember." He scratches his head.

"Yeah right." Rolling my eyes.

"Hey, Alden," Kinsley says.

"Hey Ladies. I was wondering where y'all were because I didn't see y'all inside."

"Yeah, we came out here for a while."

"Mind if I sit with y'all?"

"Yes, we mind." Trying to get him to leave.

"Okay great!" He sits down in a chair anyways.

I swear my brother can be so annoying sometimes.

"So did you have fun hanging with your friends?" Kinsley asks him.

"Yeah, I did. We mostly just played beer pong and stuff."

"That's cool."

"Yeah, it was."

We leave the party around one- fifteen.
I decide to ride home with Alden since he drove to the party. I said goodbye to my friends and they get into their cars too. Halden starts the car and we head home.

Fifteen minutes later, we're pulling up in the driveway and into the garage.

Halden turns the car off and we both get out and head inside the house. I walk through the kitchen and up the stairs to my room.

First I take off my heels and then my dress. Grabbing my makeup remover, I use it to wipe makeup off and then I wash my face.

After I'm done, I turn my light off and climb inside the bed.

I hear a knock on my door and I yell come in.
The door opens and my brother steps in.

"You good?"

"Yeah, I'm good. I'm finna go to sleep."

"Ok, night sis."

"Night."

He closes the door and I pull the covers up on me. It takes me a few minutes to fall asleep but I do.

"Don't you just love gazing up at the stars?" Milana asks me as she lays on her back, looking up at the night sky.

"Yeah, I do."

"Something about it is just so peaceful."

"Yeah, it is."

"Sometimes I wish I never died."

"What do you mean."

"You know it's all your fault."

"What?" I say looking at her.

"It's all your fault." Her voice turns angry.

"What? I'm confused. Your not dead."

"Yes I am and it's ALL YOUR FAULT." She yells.

Suddenly her body turns dead and I scream so loud. I scream and I scream till I can't even hear my voice anymore. Tears are running down my face and they don't seem to stop.

"Wake up." Someone says.

I can't understand who is talking over all the screaming.

"Wake up. You have to wake up."

I feel someone's shaking my shoulders and suddenly eyes pop open.

"Your awake." Alden sighs in relief.

I look at him through my blurry eyes from all the tears and now I can see his face.  Looking around I see that I'm still in my room, sitting up in my bed.

"Are you okay?" He ask me, concerned.

"No. What happened?"

"You had a nightmare."

"Oh."

"Do you wanna talk about it?"

I shake my head.

My brother sighs and says, "Okay well you know I'm always here to talk if you want to."

"Yeah, I know. I'm sorry if I woke you." I say softly.

Alden just smiles. "Don't be sorry. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for my sis."

He gets up from the bed and walks out of my room closing the door softly.

I try to go back to sleep but I have a hard time. Looking at the time on my phone it says three-thirty.

It's finna be a long night.
