Chapter Five

=Galaxy's POV=

It was quiet at the table. Too quiet. I glanced at the others, who were quietly eating the food I made and drinking their water. I figeted nervously, an awkward smile painted across my face. Parker looked angry, his mask off. Light seemed nervous and upset. And the kid, well, she was just eating her food.

Parker glanced at me, then the door. I immediately understood and got up, walking out of the room. Parker pulled me to thr wall. "Galaxy, I can't do it. I need my mask on." He blurted. I sighed. "Parker, I know you don't really... like your face, but please, just this once..." I told him.

Parker brushed his hair out of his face in frustration, revealing his pale blue eye. I recalled Parker telling me about that eye. He had gotten in a fight with a Red Steve, and the other had put a knife over his eye, not only leaving a scar, but blinding his right eye as well. "Pl-please?" Parker asked.

I shook my head. "Parker, I said no." I grabbed his mask from his hands and held it above his head. "HEY!" Parker yelped, jumping up to try to reach it. I made the mask disappear. Parker stared up where the mask previously had been. He growled at me, then disappeared into purple particles. I sighed. I hated it when Parker was mad at me.

I walked back into the living room, where Light wad talking to the young girl. I took the now empty plates and cups, bringing them to the kitchen to clean them, then came back to the two.

Light looked up at me. "Where'd Parker go?" He asked. I huffed. "We had a little argument." I replied. "He ran off, but I'm sure he'll be back." Light nodded. "Well, this is Silver! She's my little sister!" He said.

I smiled and crouched down to Silver's level. "Hi there, Silver!" I said. Silver smiled. "She's mute." Light commented. I nodded. "So she uses sign language?" I asked. Silver made a thumbs up, causing me to laugh.
