Long before time had a name, the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago using four elemental weapons. But when he passed, a dark sought out to collect them all - Lord Garmadon. So I, Sensei Wu, his brother, sought out to find four ninja to collect them first.

Kaylee's POV(Everything well be in her own POV unless said so.)

"Over the dummy," I mutter, trying to focus on the task at hand. Another dummy swung forward but I deflect the attack easily. Probably the result of training since you were young. I could probably do this in a blindfold. Sensei Wu comes out and shakes his head. At me? Or not. He smiles and I smile back. I do a backflip and switch off the training mechanism. I walk down to the gaming room, whereas expected, Master Wu is chewing out the ninja. I don't even know how they ever defeated Lord Garmadon. I twiddle with my fingers before Nya runs in the room.

"Guys! Lord Garmadon! He's returned! He was spotted approaching Jamanakai Village!" Nya yells and the guys get into action. They were obviously not that fit, because they kept on fumbling around before take-off. I hopped on Zane's dragon as Nya, gave Kai his harness to his dragon. We then head off, with me slightly grumbling about how I didn't have a dragon and such. Zane rolled his eyes jokingly at my grumbling. 

"Hey! This is a perfect time for a race! Race you all there!" Jay yells.

"First ninja there wins!" Kai yells as we all go diving down. As we arrive at Jamanakai Village, pulling our hoods up we quickly ran inside the village. A long shadow like Garmadon's appears and evil laughter rings throughout the town.

"Stay sharp, fellas. Whatever happens, never let your guard down." Kai motions us forward as a shadow reveals a young boy around my age wearing a black hoodie.

"It is I! Lloyd Garmadon! I demand all of the candy in town! Or else..." I softly giggle a bit before Jay groans.

"Lloyd Garmadon?!? I thought we were facing Lord Garmadon!" Jay whispers.

"It's his son. It seems like he's escaped his boarding school for bad boys again." Cole replies in a matter-of-fact tone. "And to think we could have been doing Spinjiztu."

"Can't he just buy his candy? Or steal it without making that big of a show?" I ask and the 4 turn to me.

"I'm not sure his reasons. But they must be sinister." Zane replies.

"Yeah, cause stealing candy, all the while pretending to be Lord Garmadon to scare people to give you candy counts as being sinister," I mutter.

"Uh... uh.... Gimme your candy, or else I'll release the Serpentine on you!" The villagers start booing him and he does the normal snakes-in-a-can trick. It doesn't work, and the villagers start throwing veggies at him. "No way! I asked for candy! Not vegetables!" He manages to dodge a few, but more keep coming at him and he falls in the fountain.

"He's gonna have to do a lot better than use an old bedtime story to scare people." Kai scoffs. I scoff. The Serpentine are real. 

"The Serpentine are real, Kai. They're not something to joke about." Zane replies.

"Serpentine? Real? We're talking about the ancient race of snake people who once ruled Ninjago and were supposedly locked underground?" 

Jay butted in. "Sealed in five different tombs to separate the worrying tribes and ensure they don't unify to exact their revenge upon those who put them there!" 

"It was an old wives' tale, to teach kids not to poke our noses where they don't belong. Don't you think it's a little suspicious no one's found one of their tombs?" Kai points out some logical facts but still. It's not an old wives' tale. It's actually real. I huff a bit.

"Well, that's because you'd be a fool to look for one! If there was anything I hated more than dragons, it was snakes. Rubber or not.  Don't worry, folks, we'll take care of this. Nothing to see here." Cole yells out as the four pick him up. I linger behind, looking for a candy store nearby. All of this talk of candy makes me want to eat some.

"Bow down to me, or, suffer my wrath! I'll give you the count of three! One! Two!" Lloyd wiggles around in their grasp.

"What are we supposed to do? Spank him?" Kai asks and I look at him with a Whatever medicine you took today, it's not the answer to your problems. They decide to hang him on a sign. I pull Zane towards a candy store.

"You just made me your nemesis! Mark my words, you'll pay for this!" Lloyd wiggles around as me and Zane enter the candy store. Zane picks out some candy and walks out.

"Can I stay here a bit longer?" I ask as I look longingly at the bottles of candy on the walls. Zane nods a yes, and gives me some money before walking out.

"Be safe!" He says as I pick out 2 big swirly lollipops. When I walk out to the sign, the 4 are gone. I let Lloyd go and I give him one of my swirly lollipops. 

"Thanks?" He replies as I sat down next to him, both of us licking our lollipops.

"No problem. Anyways, next time don't make a big scene. Just saying." I reply and he looks at me weirdly.

"But, you're with the ninja. Why are you giving me tips for crime?" Lloyds asks and I laugh. 

"Please, if you want to become a ninja, it's basically the equivalent of a cat thief. Don't make any noise. Only crazy overpowered evil people make a scene. Hope this helps." I stand up and grin at him. "I have an obsession with candy too. Names's Kaylee. Hope we can be friends in the near future." I wave and start to walk out.

"Name's Lloyd. I do hope we can be friends. I need one of those." Lloyd says and I smile.

"Me too. I need friends around my age. I hang around too many old people." I giggle and walk out. I see them gathered around a piece of paper. They seem so invested in the paper so I decided to scare them. I hid in a bush nearby, so I could also eavesdrop on the conversation. I took real careful not to get my lollipop dirty. 

"Two ninjas.. will rise above the others... and become the Green and Silver Ninja. The Green Ninja is destined... to defeat the Dark Lord while the Silver Ninja aids him and his comrades. The Silver Ninja will be found by they who can fly relying solely on... their powers. They will have to come to terms with their past to get their true potential to help... The Green Ninja. The Green Ninja will be found....by the..." Zane says.

"How will the Green Ninja be found! Oooh, look, a picture!" Jay semi-fangirls.

"I'm not sure. The rest I cannot decipher. It is too blurry to see." Zane replies.            

"Dark Lord? Hold on...you think they mean Lord Garmadon?" Cole asks. "Also, how easy can it be to fly relying solely on your powers? Any of us could be the Silver Ninja." 

"Actually, it's nearly impossible to fly relying solely on your powers," Zane replies and the all the guys groan.

"Wait a minute! Is that us? Is anyone else thinking what I'm thinking?" Kai points back to the scroll and the beginnings of a messed up time in our lives began.

"Like how good I'm gonna look in green?" Jay strikes a pose.

"Ha! Isn't it obvious I'm gonna be the Green Ninja?" Kai boasts.

"The color obviously suits me!" Jay retorts.

"Technically, I am the best." There goes Zane with his modesty.

"Everyone, stop it! Remember why Sensei brought us together in the first place. We're a team. We weren't meant to see this and probably for good reason. Come on, let's head back home. We have training to do." Cole butts in. 3... 2... 1....

"It's about time I added some finesse to my routine," Jay says, hopping on his dragon.

"Well, I could use some exercise," Zane says. 

"Yeah. I've gotta work on some new moves." Cole replies. They both hop on their dragons, and I quickly jump up, having forgotten that I was supposed to scare them. I race out, only to get my hood caught on a branch. I tug on it and it falls loose and I quickly run out. To see that they have already left. 

"Left behind..." I mutter as I dejectedly walk back in Jamankai Village. I wander aimlessly around for what feels like forever before I see Nya walking in. 

"Nya! Nya!" I yell barrelling towards her.

"Kaylee! What are you doing here?!? I thought you were with the guys." Nya asks and I make a face.

"I gave Lloyd some candy and then I decided to scare them when I came out. When they were leaving, I got my hood stuck on a branch, then they left. They forgot about me." I say. 

"I'm sorry Kaylee. It was a good thing I came isn't it?" Nya jokes as I huff a bit. It wasn't my fault that I keep on forgetting the direction back to the monastery! "But you said, Lloyd? The son of the evil Lord Garmadon? Why would you help him?" Nya asks.

"Well, Sensei said the way to defeat your enemy is to make him your friend. So, I made him my friend." I say and Nya laughs.

"Okay then." Suddenly, the villagers start screaming as I and Nya turn around and find people running from... Serpentine! I quickly come out and start helping people get out of town, Nya by my side. One of the snakes grab me, and I quickly look away. We back up to a wall, me trying to kick the snake and then a voice rings out.

"Hey! Not her you stupid snake! Leave her!" I fall down from the wall and look up to see Lloyd! 

"Uh, thanks for saving me..." I say and he hands me a lollipop.

"No problem. Consider that payment for when you helped me." Lloyd quickly runs off and Nya takes me to an alleyway.

"Are you okay? You did the right thing by not letting them hypnotize you. Where did you get that lollipop from?" She bombards me with questions.

"I'm okay Nya, I got the lollipop from Lloyd. He saved me from those snakes. He said it was payment from when I saved him from the sign and gave him candy." I start licking the lollipop and Nya laughs a bit.

"That's very cute." A snake blocks our way out and we both jump on the rooftops. 

"Look! It's the ninja!" I yell and we both jump down. I check if my lollipop's okay and I take another lick.

"Nya? You're okay!" Jay yells. What am I now? The trash can next to her?

"Yeah, barely. They've hypnotized almost everyone in the town! Kaylee here was almost too. When they rattle their tails, don't look at them in their eyes. That's how they get you." Nya says, and I groan.

"Wait! How are you here?" Kai asks. I nonchalantly take another lick of my lollipop.

"Well, after you so nicely left me behind I had to wander around. Lloyd saved me from getting hypnotized and gave me this lollipop." I say and Zane takes away the lollipop. "Hey!" 

"We do not know if this has been poisoned or not. You shouldn't have accepted the lollipop." I jump up and take away the lollipop and start licking it some more. I stick my tongue out, for good measure.

'Well, this is great! We can't use our weapons and then we have to fight with our eyes closed?!?" Jay yells

"The snake with the staff is the General. He's the one in charge. If we can get the staff from him, it holds the anti-venom. If we get that, we can save everyone." Nya says.

"Look, guys. Forget about the whole Green and Silver Ninja thing. Let's make Sensei proud. The four of us. We're a team." Kai says. Wait, what?!? 

"Now you're talking!" Cole pumps his fist in the air. What am I? The wall?

"Oh, and Nya, you can be our honorary member," Jay says. Just because I'm little doesn't mean I'm not part of the ninja!

 "Gee, thanks." Nya rolls her eyes. The 4 get ready for battle, I rush after them before getting blocked by Zane.

"Kaylee, I'd advise not to go out. It is not safe to be here at a time." Zane stops me and I groan.

"But you let me go on the mission to stop the fake Lord Garmadon," I say, putting my hands on my hips. 

"These snakes could take you in the midst of battle." Zane retorts.

"I could get taken in this alleyway." I point out the obvious.

"Just, try to get out of here safely." Zane sighs before running out. Kicking empty boxes with my feet I began thinking about a good way to join the fight without Zane seeing. 

"What about..." I muse.

"What about what?" A voice sounds behind me. I turn around, seeing the son of the evil lord himself. 

"What? I thought you retreated?" I ask, and Lloyd shuffles nervously.

"Well, I-uh, yeah, I-yeah. I just wanted to say thanks again. If you hadn't let me down from there, then I wouldn't have gotten those candies so, uh, thanks." He runs away, leaving me even more confused. I wait for another 10 minutes and walk out. Most snakes kept a big distance between me and them. One snake tried to grab me and another yells.

"Leave the girl! General'sssssss ordersssssss." Okay, scratch that. No snakes were coming near me. A blue mist goes around the village. Once it clear, I could see a faint outline of Sensei Wu

"Hi Sensei!" I yells, running towards him. The snakes then retreated and the gang runs up to him. 

"You were supposed to stay in the alleyway!" Zane scolds me. 

"Well, I don't have a scratch on me." I retort and Zane rolls his eyes. 

"Okay then."

"We're sorry, Sensei. If we dealt with Lloyd before he became a problem, none of this would've been necessary." Kai apologizes to Sensei Wu.

"Even lessons learned the hard way, are lessons learned. Hmm...a great evil has been released. I fear troubling times will come. This is only the beginning." Master Wu muses. Of course, there's been a great evil released! It's then freaking Serpentine!

"Then we will train, and be ready for the Serpentine," Zane says. Duh, like you were supposed to before anything happens. 

It may not be Lord Garmadon, but that doesn't mean we won't bring our A-game." Cole interjects. Now we're talking!

"Help us train. Help us realize our potential." Kai pleads. I do want to find out what my color gi is!

"Yeah. Teach us the secrets behind the weapons of Spinjitzu." Jay asks. 

"Hmm... there is much to teach. We must return to the monastery." Sensei decides and the 4 run to their dragons.

"When am I gonna get my own dragon?" Nya asks.

"Ditto. Why do the guys get the fun stuff?" I ask Sensei.

"Patience, Nya. Your time will come." Wu says. "Kaylee. Your powers come with great things. You just have to unlock it. Patience, and train."

"Booo," Me and Nya say at the same time, before laughing.

Okay, how do you like it? Just an FYI, these are going to be an episode-long
kind of stuff. So they are going to be VERYYYYYYYYY long stories and VERYYYYYYYYYYY long spaces bewteen updates but Coronavirus lets me have some time.
