One Week Later - Tatsuyu's POV

Flash Back

"Tatsuyu." Itachi greets me tiredly as I greet him at the gates with a smile.

"You look dead." I comment and he rolls his eyes amused. "I'm serious though, you need some rest." I say to him.

"Yeah, yeah, I get it, once I report my mission, I'll head home." Itachi says to me as he hugs me and I blush as he rests his chin on my head. "Your blushing." Itachi says to me with a smirk.

"Baka." I mutter and he laughs.

"Yeah, yeah." Itachi says to me and Kakashi walks into the gates and he raises the only visible eyebrow we can see, at us.

"Don't you say a word." I say to Kakashi and Itachi looks at him.

"So, you two are dating then? Kind of young though." Kakashi says to us.

I raise an eyebrow. "And aren't you to young to be reading Jiraiya's porn books?" I ask him as Itachi steps back from with a sweat drop.

"Touché, I won't say a word if you don't." Kakashi says to me.

"Deal." I say to him and he and Itachi leave.

I head to the Sandwich shop and I get my usual and then I head home with my take out bag and I see a note on my door. I take it and I look at it.

'Tatsuyu, I'm spending the night at a friends place, see you tomorrow. -TenTen'

"Uh huh." I say and I open the door and I walk in and I close the door again.

I head to the living room and I sit on the couch and I flip the channels from TenTen's dramatic shows to my cartoons.

I eat the sandwiches when Itachi walks in and lays next to me on the couch.

"I thought you were going home." I say to him with an amused smile.

"My home is you." Itachi says to me and I look at him surprised with a blush. "Why are you eating sandwiches again?" Itachi asks me.

"They're convenient and I didn't feel like cooking for lunch." I say to him and he chuckles amused as he gets comfortable with his head on my lap and I finish my food and I wipe my hands and I start running my hands through Itachi's hair and he relaxes under my touch and falls asleep.

I look at him with a small smile and I look back up at Bugs Bunny as he comes on.

After a while.

"Itachi, I have to get up to make dinner." I say to him quietly as he hugs my waist with his head resting on my chest.

"Not yet." Itachi says to me adorably.

"Your adorable, but I'm starving." I say to him and he opens his eyes to look at me.

"Fine." Itachi says to me and lets me go and we walk to the kitchen.

I start making dinner and Itachi watches me and once I finish, I set his plate next to him and I sit down next to him with my plate.

"I think this will be the first time I'll be eating your cooking." Itachi says to me and I nod and we eat. "This, is actually really good." Itachi says to me.

"I hope so, I've been cooking for myself for years." I say to him and he chuckles and after we finish eating, he helps me wash the dishes.

"You know, the Uchiha are planning something." Itachi says to me.

"Yeah, I figured, they have been too suspicious lately." I say to him.

"I think Father wants to take over the village." Itachi says to me.

"And Lord Hokage won't let that happen." I say to him.

"Yeah, I suppose not, but." Itachi says to me and I fling water into his face.

"Enough with the buts alright? I told you, Lord Hokage won't let that happen, I get it you want to side with both you clan and your village, but, I have no idea what to tell you to help you decide, all I can say is listen to what is in your heart, if it calls you to protect the village, then go ahead, if I tells you to side with the Uchiha, then that's ok too, but, just stop thinking too much about this." I say to him and he looks at me shocked.

Itachi dries his hands and then hugs me. "Why are you so wise? Your only 12." Itachi asks me.

I smile amused. "I'm just a Senju." I say as I hug him back.

"Just a Senju? No, your more than a Senju." Itachi says to me and I look up at him confused and he blushes slightly at my face.

"And what else would I be?" I ask him.

"You'll be a kunoichi in a week." Itachi says to me.

"Oh right." I say and then I sweat drop. "I haven't studied for the test yet." I say and Itachi chuckles.

"I don't think you need too." Itachi says to me and we head to the living room and I lay on the couch and he lays on top of me with his arms around my waist and his head on my chest.

"You really clingy today." I say to him as I run my fingers through his hair.

"Yeah, well I have a bad feeling about the clan and the village and I want to just listen to your heartbeat while I still can." Itachi says to me.

"I'll always be here for you Itachi, you know that, even if you get hurt, you'll always have me, even if you do something horrible." I say and his arms get tighter around my waist.

"Promise?" Itachi asks me.

"Promise." I say to him.

After a while we both fall asleep.

A Few days later

"Wait, what?" I ask Itachi who nods.

"Yeah, Shisui killed himself last night because of Danzo who was going after his eye." Itachi says to me in a serious tone.

I sigh. "And he was one of the Uchiha I didn't mind, man that sucks." I say and Itachi nods and then he gets summoned and I look at him as he leaves.

Later that night.

I stand at the gates waiting and then Itachi gets here with blood all over him and he looks miserable. I pull out a cloth as he stands in front of me and I wipe the blood off him, neither of us saying a word.

"Let me go with you." I say to Itachi quietly and his eyes widen.

"No way." Itachi says to me and my eyes sadden. "You have a village to protect, besides, what will the village say about a Senju going rouge with an Uchiha?" Itachi asks me.

"Like I care, they barely even know I exist, besides, I can't be called a rouge if I haven't graduated the academy." I say to him.

"They do know you exist is the thing, if you were to go missing, they'd suspect you left the village, underaged." Itachi says to me.

I sigh as I look at him in the eyes. "Why'd it have to be you?" I ask him.

"Why'd it have to be me what?"  Itachi asks me.

"Why'd you have to kill them, why couldn't someone else do it? Then you'd at least be able to stay here, with me." I say to him.

"Its because I was the link between the village and the Uchiha, you know this, you knew I'd have to leave at some point." Itachi says to me.

"Well I don't want you to ok?" I say to him.

"But I have to." Itachi says to me.

"Then like I said before, take me with you." I say to him as I look him in the eyes.

"No, you have to stay here." Itachi says to me.

"Why?" I ask him. "This village couldn't give a damn about me, your the only one who actually did, who actually worried about me here." I say to him.

Itachi sighs as he looks at me to see I'm close to tearing up. "Don't cry over me." Itachi says to me.

"I can't help it." I say to him as I rest my forehead on his chest with my head hanging there.

"I'm sorry." Itachi says to me and I look up at him and he gives me a kiss before leaving me there.

My heart shatters as I watch him leave at a fast pace.

I take a deep breath, trying to calm myself down without crying and I head home, I just walk to my bedroom, ignoring TenTen and the girls.

"Tatsuyu, is something wrong?" TenTen asks me.

"No, I'm just tired, we have our test tomorrow and I want to get some rest." I say and TenTen raises an eyebrow, but says nothing. I walk into my bedroom and I shut and lock the door. I walk over to my bed and I curl up under the blankets and I stare blankly at the wall in front of me.

Just bottle your emotions, turn aloof, you don't need to show emotion, they're just a hindrance.

"Tatsuyu." TenTen says coming in and I hear heavier foot steps behind her.

I look over to see her and Jiraiya.

"Man, you look miserable kid." Jiraiya says to me and I snort and roll my eyes. "Lets go for a walk kid." Jiraiya says to me and I raise an eyebrow and I follow him out of the apartment with an aloof expression. "So, what happened?" Jiraiya asks me as we walk.

"Nothing, I just feel like being miserable." I say and Jiraiya raises an eyebrow.

"Yeah right, your always saying that depression is a waste of time." Jiraiya says to me and I snort.

"And it is, I just feel like being miserable tonight." I say and Jiraiya just smirks.

"I know what happened, you can't fool me." Jiraiya says to me and my eyes widen.

"What?" I ask him.

"Your heart was shattered, I've been there before, so, who did it?" Jiraiya asks me.

"Who did what?" I ask him.

"Who broke your heart?" Jiraiya asks and I sigh.

"Weasel Face." I mutter and Jiraiya looks at me and nods.

"Well, what happened?" Jiraiya asks me.

"You'll find out what he did tomorrow, when everyone will be talking about it." I say to him.

"You know, bottling your emotions doesn't do any good?" Jiraiya asks me.

"I know, but, its the only thing keeping me sane right now, its still fresh right now." I say to him as I hug myself with my hands on my opposite arms.

"Kid, you should just let it out." Jiraiya says to me as we get to a training ground.

My eyes sadden for a second as Jiraiya hugs me.

"Crying isn't bad you know." Jiraiya says to me.

"I just, don't like showing weakness." I say to him.

"There's no one around." Jiraiya says to me.

"There is always someone around when I decide to be like a normal person." I say to him.

"Tai-Jutsu match then?" Jiraiya asks me and I nod as he steps back and we go for a round of Tai-Jutsu and when we call it quits, I sit under a tree while Jiraiya smirks. "So, want to let your feelings out now?" Jiraiya asks me.

I sigh and pull my knee's up to my chest and I place my forehead on them. "Why?" I ask quietly.

"Same question I ask myself when Tsunade rejects me." Jiraiya says to me.

"Yeah, but he didn't reject me, I'm upset with myself for falling head over heels for an Uchiha who I knew would be leaving, I'm such an idiot." I say and Jiraiya sits next to me.

"Yeah, its unusual for a Senju and Uchiha to fall in love, but, considering your both kind and think of the village first, I suppose it makes sense." Jiraiya says to me.

"We wouldn't have been able to date with everyone knowing since his father hates my guts, so, we dated in secret, the only people who knew were TenTen, you and Shisui." I say and Jiraiya nods.

"How long again?" Jiraiya asks me.

"2 years." I say and Jiraiya looks at me shocked. "That damn Uchiha." I mutter. "They're a pain in the ass." I say and Jiraiya chuckles.

"Well I suppose you resent the Uchiha then." Jiraiya says to me.

"Not even close, most of them yes, 4 of them, no, Shisui, Itachi, Sasuke and Mikoto." I say and Jiraiya nods and ruffles my hair.

"You'll get over the heartbreak, someday." Jiraiya says to me and I sigh as I look forward.

"Its my fault in the first place that I got heartbroken, I fell for him and his damn smile and his damn personality and his laugh." I say and Jiraiya nods.

"That's how it was with me and Tsunade, though she flats out rejects me in any way she can." Jiraiya says to me and my lips twitch upwards and he raises an eyebrow as I smile amused.

"Look at us, we're both messes." I say and Jiraiya thinks for a second before he starts laughing.

"You aren't wrong." Jiraiya says to me as I smile.

After a while I get up with Jiraiya and he walks me back to my apartment. "Thanks Jiraiya, somehow, you know everything about me, once again." I say to him and he smirks.

"I'm your God-Father and your guardian, I have to know about you otherwise I'd fail at my job." Jiraiya says to me with a grin as he ruffles my hair. "Well, I'm leaving tomorrow before your exam, so I won't be able to make it, but Lord Third will." Jiraiya says to me, his face falling serious and I know what he's talking about so I nod.

"Alright, see you sometime Jiraiya." I say and he smirks as he leaves.

I walk inside and I fall on the couch, dead tired and I groan.

"Sheesh, you look worse than before." TenTen says to me and I just groan again, unable to move.

"I think I'll just sleep on the couch tonight." I mutter and TenTen sits on my back and watches the TV as I sleep.

Flash Back Ends

I think on that night as we walk and Sasuke just eyes me for a minute.

"Well, I didn't know what Itachi meant by this, but he told me something to tell you." Sasuke says to me and my eyes widen slightly. "When he was reanimated, he told me this, 'The Black roses turn White.'" Sasuke says to me and I freeze in an instant and Sasuke stops to look at me. "What?" Sasuke asks me.

"He, still remembered." I say quietly and Sasuke raises an eyebrow.

"Remembered what?" Sasuke asks me.

I smile amused. "I'll show you." I say to him and he raises an eyebrow as I place a hand on his shoulder and we disappear through a pool of water and appear outside a meadow. I walk into the meadow of black roses and Sasuke looks at it shocked. "Weasel would refer to me as his white angel and I'd call him my black protector, since, I was often lost because of stupid people getting in my way and I'd get picked on for my face markings and my hair color, not to mention, my eyes are different, the Black Roses turn White, its our I love you, based on our first date when we found a black rose that turned white with my chakra." I say to him as I walk to the center of the field and he being still confused follows me. "I wonder if its still here." I say and I bend down next to a white rose and I smile at it.

"Why would you guys be black and white?" Sasuke asks confused.

"My most noticeable trait is my white hair, that is why I'm White and Weasel, he always wore dark or black clothing and he had black hair with black eyes, that's why he was Black." I say and Sasuke looks at me confused.

"But why were you called his White Angel?" Sasuke asks me.

"I don't know, for the two years we were together and not to mention the years we spent as friends, he never once told me why I was his White Angel." I say and something catches my eye.

I get up and I call the crow to me and it flies over to me and lands on my finger.

"Just as I thought, Itachi's crow, how long were you here buddy?" I ask him as I pet his feathers with the back of my index finger.

"You knew it was his crow?" Sasuke asks shocked and I smile.

"Yeah." I say and the crow, crows a few times. "About a year huh? Poor buddy." I say and the crow nestles into my touch. "Sorry I didn't come soon, I was occupied." I say to the crow.

"How do you understand Itachi's crow?" Sasuke asks shocked.

I smile amused. "I can't, I can just tell what it is saying by its chakra waves." I say to him and I put the crow under his chin and he crows happily. I smile as he crows at me, telling me something and then he says something that makes my eyes widen and tears sit on the brim of my eyes as my smile grows more happy.

"What?" Sasuke asks me.

"I've been told the meaning as to why I was called his White Angel." I say and he looks at me expectantly. "I was his guardian of hope, hope is symbol of light, and when you think of light, what color is it normally, white, and for the angel part, I was just there, like an angel, to him, I guess I was a miracle, getting lost helped him find a new friend and his new lover." I say and Sasuke nods.

"I guess that makes sense." Sasuke says to me and I think for a second.

"How does that one song go? It applies to both me and Weasel." I say as I tap my chin thinking. "Oh, I remember." I say as I smile. "I'd go to hell and back again, stay lost in what we found, worlds apart we were the same until we hit the ground. Maybe I'm crazy, maybe I'm weak, maybe I'm blinded by what I see, you wanted a soldier, but it wasn't me, 'cause I could never set you free." I sing and Sasuke's jaw drops at my voice. "We sang this song one time and he told me I had the voice of an angel, I took it as a compliment, thought I didn't believe it at the time since confidence, was exactly my strong suit." I say with a nervous sweat drop.
