Thank you for 5k!! I gave you guys an early update ;)

(Also, do you guys recognize that picture of Lila? I'll tell you at the end of the chapter if you don't :D) ENJOY!!

Lila POV

Lila took the letter back to her room and shut the door. She had made sure that only her maid was present, before shouting her demands.

"CLARA!" Lila shouted the maid came rushing over.

"Yes, Miss? And, it's Crystal-"

"I don't care what it is!" Lila shot back as the maid looked down. "Get me a meeting with King Gabriel," Lila smiled as Sabrina walked in.

"Right on time," Lila smirked at her. Sabrina gave her a big smile.

"Anything to help my second best friend!" Sabrina smiled.

"Go now, Clara!" Lila shoved her hand in her face as the maid left.

"What do I do, Miss!" Sabrina was practically bouncing.

"You first need to get me some tea from the hall downstairs," Lila flicked her hand. As soon as Sabrina left, her smile faded into a frown.

"That brat," Lila mumbled.

"You may be so high and mighty now, but once I show your letter to the king," Lila paused, running her hands through her silky hair. "You'll be nothing," she crumpled the paper into one ball.

"Here you go, miss!" Sabrina happily walked in. Lila took a sip before giving an evil smirk. She splashed the hot coffee onto Sabrina as she screeched.

"I'm so sorry," Lila made her face droop. "My hand slipped."

"I-It's okay," Sabrina stammered, the coffee staining her dress. The maid walked in sheepishly as she tilted her head down.

"I couldn't get a meeting," The maid whispered.

"Of course you didn't," Lila spat in a harsh tone.

"I'll just do it myself."

"Natalie!" Lila smiled going over to the king's assistant.

"Yes?" she replied blandly.

"I need to talk to the king," Lila smiled.

"Your majesty is very busy," Natalie started to walk off as Lila stopped her. "It's not about me," Lila begged.

"His son, Adrien. He is dating a girl who cheated on him and broke the rules of the selection. This letter proves this, and I just want to make sure that the prince isn't getting into any harm," Lila pouted.

Natalie sighed. "I'll see what I can do," she started to walk off again.

"Wait!" Lila stopped her. "It is urgent. Adrien is about to make his final decision, and he doesn't even know!"

"Isn't it your job to protect Adrien?" Lila scoffed, "and this is doing that. If you let your boss's son get manipulated by that liar, then you may lose your opportunity," Lila blinked.

Natalie looked at the papers in her hand.

"Meet Mr. Agreste in fifteen minutes in the grand hall," Natalie walked off.

Lila gave a dark smile as she brushed out her hair while waiting. The clock ticked 4:45 as Gabriel Agreste, along with his honorary knights walked in.

"You needed something concerning my son?" Gabriel spoke slowly.

"Yes, this girl, Marinette Dupain-Cheng is cheating on him," Lila handed him the letter. "This shows that Adrien is going to try and forgive her for her antics, and this also includes his assistant, who should be fired,"

"I believe your son deserves better, and you should kick that girl out and fire his assistant then your son will be protected and under your control."

Lila whispered her next phrase. "Isn't that what you want?"

Marinette POV

Adrien interlocked his lips with Marinette's, both of them getting interrupted by a knock on the door. Marinette got off of his lap as she answered it.

"Hello?" Marinette asked Natalie at her door.

"We need to speak with the prince as well as you," Natalie spoke in her usual monotone voice.

"W-Why?" Marinette asked.

"Five minutes, and you'll find out why," Natalie started to leave. "You may want to fix your makeup," Natalie commented as Marinette felt her smeared lipstick and frazzled hair.

Adrien laughed as he noticed it, most of her lipstick smeared on his lips and face.

"Let's go fix us up," Adrien led her to the bathroom.

Like a married couple, they fixed each other's hair and perfected their clothing. Adrien finished Marinette's lipstick as she combed out his hair.

"We're going to be late!" Marinette grabbed Adrien's hand. He chuckled as they ran down the stairs into the grand hall.

To their surprise, Luka was also present and he just shrugged his shoulders at Marinette's glance.

"We have a concern about the competition," Natalie started as the King glared at Marinette. Marinette's heart skipped a beat. "What do you mean?" Marinette whispered.

"It seems that you have been cheating on the prince with this boy," The king pointed a finger at Luka.

"You will both be sent home, as well as Luka, you will be proceeded to get kicked out and fired-"

"Hold on a minute," Adrien interrupted. "Yes, Marinette did make a mistake, but now she understands what she did was wrong."

"It doesn't matter what you say, I want both of them out of my palace," The king shouted at his son.

"You promised me that I would get to choose who stays and goes!" Adrien shouted back. "And I want both of them to stay."

His father opened his mouth to shout as Marinette wrapped her hands around Adrien's arm.

"I know I have made mistakes in the past, but I truly am in love with your son, and you're going to need to accept that," Marinette's voice was barely above a whisper.

"Young lady, I'm going to need to talk to you in private," The king said as the guards wrapped both arms around Marinette.

"STOP!" Adrien shout as two other guardsmen held him back.

Marinette felt tears sting her eyes as she was dragged into a large sunroom, identical to the room she had met the prince in. The guards threw her onto the floor as the king sat down at the desk.

"Marinette-"

"Sir," Natalie interrupted as he turned his head.

The king nodded.

"Hold her down." the king instructed as Marinette let out a cry of pain.

Chloe POV

As Chloe waited outside for the king, a loud sharp scream hit her ears. She recognized Marinette's voice as one of the king's guards slammed the door shut.

The king arrived outside, due to a repeated request made by Chloe.

She looked at him and bowed deeply. "Your majesty, I must inform you about something," Chloe spoke silently.

"Yes?" the king asked impatiently.

"The letter you received from Lila Rossi was a fake, she had written it herself. It doesn't make any sense why a girl like Marinette would cheat," Chloe stated as the king scoffed.

"What proof do you have," the king said as Chloe took a deep breath.

"When you were talking, Marinette said she had made a mistake, not being specific. This hints that she may have not known what you were talking about, which made sense on why they were so surprised." Chloe sucked in a breath.

"Therefore, this means that Marinette is not guilty and should be allowed to stay in the competition," Chloe finished.

The king laughed. "Who do you think you are?" the king stated.

"I am Chloe Boujerois."

"You two must be friends," the king stated as Chloe scoffed. "We are not. Marinette is very dumb and a brat," Chloe flipped her hair.

"Then why?" the king asked.

"Because, Marinette maybe those things, but she isn't a cheater. I know she isn't," Chloe lied.

She had known about all of Marinette's antics from day one but kept quiet about it. The king sighed.

"I must have made a mistake," he grumbled. "You are free to leave."

"You are free to go," Chloe heard from the distance, then hearing Marinette's heel click on the floor as the king swore to himself.

Chloe felt herself smile as she hid behind one of the large walls.

She saw Marinette, crying, as she ran into Adrien's arms. He hugged her lightly, Marinette softly stroking his hair and brushing it out of his eyes. They shared a passionate kiss as Chloe leaned against the wall, sighing deeply, tears coming to her own eyes.

"Madame Moiselle?"

Chloe sucked in a large breath, then noticing it was just her butler. "Don't scare me like that John Luke," Chloe breathed.

"It seems Madame Moiselle has done the right thing," he noticed, eyeing Adrien and Marinette.

"I made a promise to the queen. She said that I could be his soulmate, and if I wasn't then I would pair them together," Chloe softly spat.

"It still hurts though," she wiped a single tear.

"But, you lied-"

"Yes, I know,"

"Marinette has made mistakes, but who hasn't. Besides, she'll never have to know I'm the one who saved her," Chloe flicked her hair.

John Luke smiled. "Like a true superhero," he commented as Chloe smiled slightly.

"Yes, I will always be one," Chloe pointed to herself, her smile shifting to a smug smirk.

"Now, go fetch me some coffee!" she demanded as he scurried away.

She sideglanced at Adrien and Marinette, still in each other's embrace. She sighed under her breath.

"I hope I'll find someone like that one day,"

And... That's it. I kinda made it so how she was called a superhero, and since she can't be one any more in MLB, I kinda made her a special chappy ^U^

Lila's plan didn't really work out XD. Anyone surprised that Chloe saved her? I am not (cause I planned for it to happen XD)

Also, that picture of Lila was the one I used for the cover :D
