Jax's POV
Married.
One thing I never expected out of my life was to end up married, but here I am, standing next to my wife, watching as everyone mingles around the backyard of our house.
Even though this wedding was rushed, Jessica and Morgan put their heart and soul into planning this wedding. The only thing outside of the theme that she planned is the motorcycle grooms cake that she had surprised me with.
Jessica is standing right under my arm, a huge smile on her face as she runs her finger over the band now sitting on my left hand.
"How are you feeling about all of this?" I ask Jessica, looking down at her.
Jessica looks up at me, a smile on her face.
"I think this is the happiest I've been in a long time" she tells me.
"I would probably agree with you on that one" I respond.
Before long, Jessica gets pulled away by Morgan as Opie walks up to me, Angel and Kozik following behind him.
"How does it feel?" Opie asks, smacking a hand against my shoulder.
"Feels amazing dude" I respond.
I look over at Jessica who is dancing to an old rock song with Morgan, her friend Christian, and most surprisingly Donna, who has a smile on her face as she gets to know the newest woman coming in to SAMCRO, eventually.
Now that the wedding is over, we next start getting ready to welcome our baby in a short 7 months.
Gemma's POV
Standing in the waiting room of the hospital, I found myself pacing back and forth while the rest of the club was sitting in the chairs behind me, waiting for some kind of update on my son.
"Is Jessica Teller here?" one of the nurses questions, walking up to the group of us.
I look behind me confused, before turning back to the nurse in front of me.
"The only Teller still alive is Jax, there is no one named Jessica that's a Teller, I'm his emergency contact though if you need something" I tell her.
"She's the one listed as your sons next of kin. We just need some insurance forms filled out, but we will just try the contact number again" she tells me, before walking back towards her desk.
As soon as she walk away, I turn back to the club who are all looking at each other confused.
I watch as Opie pulls out his phone and walks out of the waiting room, Kozik following right behind him. Letting out a sigh, I sit down in the open chair next to Clay, praying for any news about my son.
A few minutes later, a short brunette comes running into the waiting room followed by Opie, Donna, and Kozik. I watch as she runs to the nurses station, wiping the steady flow of tears coming down her face.
I watch as Kozik, along with Donna, attempt to calm her down long enough to understand what she is being told and what the forms in her hand are.
As soon as she is done talking to the nurse, the four of them walk over to the side, a silent conversation between the four of them.
I look at them, confused on who she is and what the hell she might be doing here.
Jessica's POV
"I don't understand how something like this could have happened Herm" I state.
I was at the boutique when I got a call from some random hospital in Charming tell me that my husband was hurt, and I needed to get to the hospital for more information. As soon as I pulled in, I saw Opie and Herman standing outside, Donna pulling in directly behind me.
As many questions as I had about the kutte's, I could worry about that later, but I knew what they meant. My only concern was getting to my husband.
"Family of Jackson Teller" I hear being called out through the waiting room.
I turn around to see a doctor standing in the waiting room, a tired look on his face.
The four of us walk up to the doctor, followed by everyone in the waiting room.
"I'm guessing you're Jessica?" he questions, looking directly at me.
I nod my head in response.
"Are you okay updating you in front of everyone or would you rather us have this conversation in private?" he asks.
I look around at everyone standing near me, some with angry expressions, some with confused expressions. Looking at Herman, he gives me a look telling me to do what I think is best. Letting out a sigh, I turn back to the doctor.
"Is it okay if we talk in private, I have a few questions I wanted to ask you?" I ask quietly.
He gives me a nod, before motioning towards a room off to the side. Hearing some protests behind me, I walk quicker to the room. One voice of protest has me stopping in my tracks and turning around.
"Why are you trusting some random whore who walks through the door claiming to be a Teller, you have no proof! I'm his mother, you should be talking to me" she exclaims.
I look at her in shock.
From what Jax has told me, he and his mother don't get along at all. So seeing the woman in question standing in front of me, throws my brain for a loop.
"Look I don't know who you are, or who any of you are for that matter. All I know is that my husband is in a room somewhere and I need to see him. Any problem you have with me, or with him can be sorted out at a later time" I tell her, before walking into the room with the doctor.
The doctor closes the door, before leaning against the table in the middle of the room.
"Your husband made it out of surgery fine. The bullet didn't hit anything major, so he should be able to make a full recovery. He will need to stay in the hospital for a few days to make sure that everything goes okay and that there's no infection. He's awake and asking for you" he explains.
I give him a nod, taking in everything that he's told me.
"Can I go see him now? I ask, quietly.
He gives me a nod, opening up the door behind me. As soon as we walk out of the door, he ushers me to the side, avoiding the small crowd waiting around the door.
As much as I want to figure everything out, I want to see Jax, and I don't care about anything else other than getting to him.
The doctor walks to the door, opening it softly.
After quickly thanking him, I make my way into the room, laying my eyes on a groggy Jax.
"Hello there beautiful" he says, giving me a sleepy smirk.
"You my dear husband have a lot of explaining to do" I respond.
I watch as Jax's smirk drops, a nervous glint washing over his eyes.
