FLASHBACK 

It's almost been a month that Aneesh has come in the academy. After the dinner incident, the differences between Karan and Monami have grown. 
( no landslide here)

Lately Monami has been observing Aneesh and it seems weird. He is constantly hanging around her, pressurising her to do as he says, for example having another drink or going out for party. Also distracting her while the drill is going on. 

Aneesh is in Mumbai currently to attend a week long Medical seminar and to give lectures. He insisted Monami to come along but she made some excuses. 

Sid and Monami are discussing about Aneesh in the mess. 

" but aneesh aisa karega kyu , koi point hi nahi banta karan ki baat ka" said monami.
" but dole shole aise hi to itni badi baat nahi karega" Sid told monami. She looked angry and upset but also confused. There had to be some reason why aneesh would spike her drink. 

" mai karan pe trust karti hoo sid, par mere pass aneesh pe doubt karne ka koi reason nahi hai" 
Sid agreed as it was difficult for him to understand the angle of the situation. 
" tune dole shole se baat ki iss bare me" asked sid. 
" time hi kaha milta hai, chutti wale din pe Aneesh aa jata hai" spoke a frustrated monami. 
" to tu kya agle saal ka wait kar rahi hai , jaake baat kar na" 
Monami agrees as it seems the right time to talk. Aneesh is not here and everybody id probably sleeping. 

"karan room me nahi hai" monami asked Faizi. 
"nahi, shayad ground pe hai, uss din ki baat se gussa hai janab " spoke Faizi. 
" mai bhi confused hoo, usi baare me baat karne jaa rahi hoo" 
Faizi nodded and understood. 

" ye tum kya kar rahe ho" asked Monami to Karan when she saw him hugging a tree and resting his head on it. 
 He slowly opened his eyes to find Monami standing there shocked and giving a little smile.

He quickly turned away and scratched the back of his head. 
Monami comes and stands in front of him. He avoids eye contact while monami continues asking questions through her eyes. 
" koi meri baat sun nahi raha tha, to maine socha yahi aake bhadaas nikal loo" answered Karan and was about to turn away when Monami held his hand. 
there, he was feeling all of it again. Her touch. Her hand on his hand. The grip tightening with every passing second. The urge to just turn around and embrace her. But he could not do it. For Monami it was still a no signal from Karan and for Karan, aneesh was the red signal. 
The unsaid emotions were binding each other. 
Finally he turned around and faced her. Somewhere he was happy that here she was, his love, holding his hand. But somewhere he was hurt and Monami could not see his pain.

" mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai " spoke Monami after a long silence while taking her hand away. 
karan nodded and they both sat down. 

( monami is wearing her blue blouse and green hoodie and karan is wearing his white tshirt and red hoodie. i just love their scenes in those uniforms!! comment down your favorite scene ) 

A light cool breeze is blowing. both of them are not facing each other and have one hand distance. 

" uss din, maine jo bhi tumhe kaha uske liye I AM SORRY!!" Monami spoke in a low tone still not looking at Karan. 
He looked at her thinking maybe she realised that aneesh is not a good person or a friend she once knew he was and then monami turns towards him. Now she is facing him. 
" lekin, ho sakta hai tumhe misunderstanding hui ho " monami continued.
" aneesh mera dost hai karan, aur wo meri drink spike kyu karega??" she questioned him with an innocent look. 
karan had no definite answer to her question, but he knew he was not misunderstanding. 
But he could also not explain her why he was being so possessive. This was not the right time to confess. 
" KARAN!!" monami called him out. 
Now karan turned towards monami, facing her he asked " tum mujhpar trust kyu nahi kar sakti, Monami??"
" I TRUST YOU KARAN " she replied immediately while looking at him with a small smile.  but karan knew that this was not enough. He has to gather some evidence to prove his accusation on Aneesh is right. 

while heading back to their rooms, monami glanced at karan one last time. Her eyes still holding many questions but at the same time she got confirmed on one thing.
even if it was a misunderstanding, why would karan constantly doubt aneesh . 

" ek kaam karte hai monu, cross check karte hai" sid spoke after listening to monami. 
' matlab??' monami asked not knowing what he meant. 
" matlab kal usi bar me chalte hai, jaha tum log gaye the. kya pata waha kisi ne kuch dekha ho ya cctv me record hua ho" he said. 
" you're right, shayad koi clue mil jaaye"
