It's been almost an hour or so that they left the village. With captain Yamato leading and the three leaf shinobi behind him. Kanon stayed in the very back ready to stop the two from beating up the new guy. She never thought she would have to stop a fight against teammates. Especially when it's their first mission together as a team.

'The tension is so thick you need to cut it with a knife.' She kept a close eye and she notice Naruto been staring at the guy.

'Maybe he's trying to think of a way to get to know him. Though Sai does sorta remind me of Sasuke in some way only difference is his personality.' She kept her guard up in case she need to get in between the two.

"If you keep staring at me I'll hit you." Sai said as Kanon use her waters to restrain Naruto from attacking. Naruto began yelling things at him saying that he will never accept him to replace Sasuke

'I think this mission got a bit difficult with this new guy.' She saw Sakura step in between then and told them that was enough. Kanon was bit glad that Sakura was being reasonable with him but next thing she knew Sakura punched him strong enough to send him to the ground.

'So much for being reasonable.' Captain Yamato seem to think the same since he created a giant wooden jail cell.

"Alright enough you have two options. Either get along in this cell or get along in the hot springs that's up ahead. Those are your choices... so what's it going to be?" He said as she definitely didn't want spending a night in a jail cell.

"I don't know about you guys but I choose the hot springs." She said as she went walking next to Yamato.

"Well what's it going to be for you three then." He asked as the others seem like they don't want to get on captain Yamato bad side.

"The hot springs sir." Sakura and Naruto said lowly not looking up at him.

'Well now I know I can trust Yamato.'

"Ahhhh this is what I needed." Kanon said while enjoying the nice warm open baths.

"I couldn't agree more this is the best." Sakura said while sinking deeper into the water.

"So what do you think of the new guy?" Sakura asked her since they were both away from the guys.

"Sai is a bit... how do I say it without sounding rude?... weird I guess. I don't know if its because we don't know anything about him but he just gives off this weird feeling." Kanon said while trying to figure out who Sai really is.

"I guess so but he's still rude and not to mention insensitive with his words." She said a bit mad as Kanon giggled at her comment.

"That's true but there's something about Sai that makes me feel a bit sad. That fake smile of his is like he doesn't know how to be a normal human being. I know we as ninja must cast aside our emotions for the sake of the mission. Still when the mission is over we are able to let our emotions out away from danger. From what I can tell he has not once let his guard down from the moment we all met at the village." Kanon began to sink into the water and lean back against a rock.

"I guess you've notice it in the very beginning." They both heard Naruto's voice saying not to look.

'Naruto why must you be so loud.' Kanon thought as she began to head towards the edge. Since she's still on her mission but she just doesn't want to hear what Naruto is angry about. Its best that she gets back to her post.

"I'm going to leave now enjoy your bath Sakura." And like that she was out of the water she rapped her towel and went inside to dry up and change clothes.

'Sai just who are you really and what is your real intention?'

"So Garra can I ask you something?" Miyako asked as she place some food she made for the three siblings. Since the rescue mission she's been helping out with their work. As well spending some time with her last remaining relative of her father side.

"Go ahead," he said as he looked into his cup of tea.

"Who's shijima?" She asked as he looked up at her in surprised.

"The day you and Kanon saw each other after two years of being apart you called her Shijima. Was there some kind of reason you mistaken her with Kanon?" She asked as he sigh.

"I guess I should tell you since you asked.... shijima was a girl that reminded me of Kanon. It was around the time that the council members were deciding on who I should marry to help the village prosper. Shijima was a noble girl they selected for me, but she was already in love with someone else. She told me I would always talk about Kanon and she could tell I really did miss her." Garra said as he looked at the stone that Kanon gave back to him.

"You truly loved Kanon didn't you." She stated as he reminded quiet.

"Tell her before its too late... you should know our village has been going through some tough times at the moment. Rumors have been going around that we may be going to war soon. I'm not sure if we'll survive this since it's a village that has turned our dragons to level e dragons." Miyako states hoping that Garra would go tell her friend.

"Miyako what if she doesn't want us to be together." He asked his voice sounding sad.

"Then you try harder I know that she still has feelings for you. She may not show it but she does care a lot about you." Miyako said with determination in her eyes.

"Hey Garra sorry it took so long but the meeting took a bit- um did something happen here?" Kankuro asked as he sees both teens with determined looks.

"Kankuro I'm sorry but I need to go find Kanon." Garra said which confused what his brother was talking about.

"Wait what?!" He try to stop him and at the same time Tamari came in. She looked at her brothers and saw that Kankuro was holding Garra back.

"Did I miss something?"

"Garra is trying to leave and go find his ex's that's what's happening. Reason with him Tamari." Kankuro said as she sigh.

"Garra I know you want to clear things up with her, but right now the village is more important. Plus if you do mange to leave where will you go? She's probably on another mission by now or is returning to her village." Tamari said as he stop and looked down.

"I'm sure your paths will cross each other. For now let her go to sort out her feelings and figure things out with your feelings too."Garra sigh and went back to sit down.

"Miyako is it true that she hides her emotions?" Garra asked the red hair girl.

"Yeah our master would always find her hiding spot and just let her vent her emotions. Something about the way he just stayed quiet and listened to us made us feel a bit lighter. It's one of the few things we miss and with him gone she's probably sorting out her feelings alone." She said as she remember the good old times with their master teaching them everything he knew.

"How could I be such a fool." He mumbled to himself feeling guilty for messing up her name with another girl.
