Cycle Six (Part 1)
I decided to update this today rather than tomorrow because I'm planning on finishing this with the next chapter. Which will be here tomorrow.
Alright, Alice, no more distractions.
“Aww...but why? You had fun last cycle, admit it!”
I had a panic attack and we didn’t get to the throne room fast enough because of our detour. Besides, you almost died!
“That’s not fair…”
Little Alice and I had been arguing about the last cycle for the past hour or so, while we headed to the throne room. She still looked like she did at the end of the last cycle, she just covered her eye with her hair.
We passed through Bendy L̶a̶n̶d̶ Hell, and heard Twisted Alice on the speakers.
“Ohh, Steven, did you expect to be able to hide from me?”
Kinda…
“How did she see us?!” Little Alice started looking around, slightly panicking.
“Is there someone with you, Steven? That doesn’t sound like Henry…”
I shake my head, hurrying along. I did all the challenges, and ran through the tunnel, rather than riding the cart. Takes too long to get anywhere using that thing. When I arrived in the room where Henry usually fought that Brute Boris, Alice started speaking again.
“You know, I was hoping you survived, I made this one specially for you! I have one for Henry, of course, but this is yours! Hope you enjoy it…”
The doors opened, and I readied myself to fight Buddy. What came instead, however, was much worse.
Wally came hobbling out from between the doors, shuffling along on legs that looked like they’d been broken in several places, allowing his legs to act more snake-like. His arms were broken in a similar fashion, but his arms ended in sharp points. His eyes had been taken out, leaving hollow sockets in their place. He shuffled towards me, stopping when he was a few feet away from me.
“Say hello, Steven!”
Wally charged at me, trying to wrap me up in his arms and legs. I dodged, and stood to the side. Wally stood there where I had been, his ears moving to try and hear me.
He must be blind…
“What do you mean, he must be blind?” Little Alice looked at me weirdly.
Wally launched himself at the source of the noise, being me and Little Alice. I dodged to the side, and hit the edge of one of the crates, hurting myself in the process.
I cried out a silent scream of pain. When going up against something blind, it kinda helps to be mute, you know? Little Alice seemed to be keeping quiet now, since she figured out what I meant when I said he’s blind.
I scooped out a glob of my ink, turned it into a bacon soup can, and threw it across the room. Wally lunged for it, wrapping it in his arms and crushing it so hard it turned back into my ink.
Alright, don’t wanna get caught in that…
When Wally didn’t hear anything, he started clicking his points on the ground, slowly moving towards me. The closer I got, the more I realised what he was doing. He was using echolocation to find me.
What in the hell did Alice do to Wally…?
Then he stopped. He stood there, frozen in the middle of the room.
What are you doing?!?! Kill him before he can kill us! Little Alice screamed in my head.
I can’t. He used to be my friend…
AND?! He’ll kill us if we don’t kill him!
NO!!
If you won’t do it, then I will.
She jumped off of my shoulder, and landed silently on the ground. She drew her sword, and walked over to Wally, who kept twitching. When he didn't move toward her, she put it back and started climbing up Wally. She reached his shoulder, and positioned her sword up to the side of his head.
I had to turn away, and accidentally kicked a bacon soup can.
Wally leapt at me, wrapping me in his arms, squeezing the life out of me. I didn’t have a choice. I put my arm on my face and used Harmful-Ink-tent. His face started melting away, and eventually he let me go, falling to the ground. I cried. I stood there and silently cried.
When I looked back up again, Wally was gone, and I had an insane smile on my face.
You know what, Alice? Let’s make a slight detour…
Little Alice picked up her sword, which had fallen onto the floor, and climbed back onto my shoulder.
I climbed into Twisted Alice’s room, avoided the net, and walked up behind her. She was looking at her cameras, monitoring Henry’s progress. She spoke occasionally, and then when Henry got into the ballroom where he fought Brute Boris, she leaned back in her chair. And bumped into me.
She jumped up, turned around, and backed into a corner.
“How did you get in here without me knowing?!?!”
I took another step forward, gouging my hand into my arm to grab a glob of ink. The closer I got, the more the glob resembled a syringe, which I filled with my ink. I held it at my side, and stood right in front of Twisted Alice.
Alice stared fearfully at the syringe. She didn’t know what I was gonna do, but she knew it was nothing good. Little Alice, who could read my mind, giggled a bit. I crouched down, smiled a bit wider, then stabbed the syringe into Twisted Alice’s neck.
She sat there for a moment in shock, then began to feel my ink running through her veins, since it was a bit thicker than normal ink. She felt a slight itchy sensation, and started scratching the spot where the needle had pierced her skin. She started scratching more, and more, until the itching became unbearably painful.
I stood back up, and stepped back to watch my work unfold. Alice was literally dying inside. By injecting my ink into her, it allowed me to kill her from the inside out, since when I’m not controlling my ink, it will do anything to get back to me. Anything. It would tear through wood, brick, concrete, even living beings. So the itchy, burning sensation Alice is feeling? That’s my ink, tearing its way through her.
Then the first drops started spilling out. It started coming from her face. Tiny little drops were surfacing, pooling at her feet, and heading in my direction. As soon as she felt the ink, she understood what was happening. She sat there, realising there was nothing she could do to escape this fate. She’d fight back, try and stab me or something, but she was in too much pain. Five minutes later, she exploded into ink, her ink joining mine as it came back to my body, making my arm bigger.
I turned to the direction of Allison and Tom’s safe house, filled with a new purpose. I would spare everyone from this hell the only way I knew how.
I will set them free.
