Preface
So guys here it is Volume 2 of The ToyMakers:). Of course, you absolutely must read volume 1 first or this volume may make little to no sense. I spent a lot of time editing the cover and deciding whether or not to publish this earlier than usual. If you guys like The ToyMakers series then without a doubt check out my other book Hello Charlotte. It's one of the most unique books you will ever read in paranormal. However if you also like fantasy books then please check out my best friend Aaron_Ledgers book Because I Love You. While dark it is amazing and if I had to compare it to Animes Yona of the dawn mixed with Akame ga kill. So check either of those out:).Don't forget to VOTE and COMMENT I really like chatting with you guys and hearing your opinions.~XOXO BUTTERBALL.
Also, click the video it goes with the chapter.

-Corina-
I let out a sigh as I sat down in the grass and gripped Opal to my chest.
I know I killed Elize, but I shouldn't be back home this quickly. Should I?
I rubbed a hand over my face and found to great surprise that I was still wearing my eye patch.
"So I am dreaming, if I wasn't I'd be able to see in the Clockwork room," I muttered as I slowly massage one hand over the damaged organ.
I glanced down at Opal to see him in his stuffed animal form and playing the part quite nicely.
I let out a small huff and shook him slightly hoping that he was just playing the part.
"Opal, wake up," I demanded.
However, his limp body just flopped around in my arms as a chill crawled its way over my skin.
I whirled around to my house and came face to face with a woman I recognized, but at the same time had never met a single time in my life.
"Y-you're Millia...so I really am in the Clockwork room. Then where's Rose? I know that after the battle Taiga brought me to her and she gave me new abilities," I asked my voice verging on frantic.
Millia cocked her head to the side, her bright red hair falling over her shoulders.
It was then I noticed that her body was streaked, smeared and dripping with blood. She looked like a walking broken red paint can.
It was what was in her left hand that really made me freeze though. She held Taiga's severed head by his brown hair as though she was holding something mundane as a purse.
I started gasping frantically as my chest tightened in an odd manner.
"You know what I think Corina? I used to think that when you had nothing...you had nothing to lose. But, the truth is, we all need something to fight for," she told me slowly with a strange brightness in her eyes.
"I didn't fight for anything that strange for a ToyMaker either but I still lost in the end," she whispered as she frowned slowly.
"What do you think I fought for...?" She asked grinning maliciously.
I wanted to look away, I pleaded myself to look away but...I just couldn't.
"I-I don't know your freedom? Your country?" I guessed in a soft tone.
My answers elicited a sharp bark of laughter from her.
"So close yet so far, I fought for something you currently have. My soul," she told me, as she began tossing Taiga's served head up and down in the air while catching it.
She smirked at me. "I'll tell you what I'll trade you for it. How about this after all the moment you bring him back to life he'll do the same thing to you. Even if you want to die but want to linger in the afterlife he'll force you to move on," she told me.
Then she held his head out to me grinning. That smile was full of malicious, pride and judgment. She slowly walked up to me.
"I'll give you a warning. He may have hearts in his eyes for you now, but Rose will always have held his strings first. Use him while you can then destroy him," she said thrusting his severed head into my arms.
A loud piercing scream burst from my chest, not because I was holding a severed head or because of whose head it was. It was because of who had given it to me and the fact that she was wearing a carbon copy of my face.
I sprung up gasping and trying to clutching at my throbbing eye that was behind my eyepatch. But hands grabbed my wrist from two directions.
I glared to my right seeing my one and only brother Matthew sitting in a chair at my bedside. And to my left sat Taiga, a life size puppet man who had protected, saved, and changed my life. Like Taiga, Matthew was also a Puppet now through a series of unfortunate events that he may have agreed to. I loved them both dearly.
However, at the moment they were both pissing me off.
"Release me at once my eye is killing me," I demanded.
Taiga sighed and ran his free hand through his dark brown hair as his silver eyes met mine. "Corina, I would do that but you'll just start picking at it because that's how you humans are. For some reason you pick at wounds. It's healing nice and there's pain medication, Rose just couldn't take the pain away completely or it would drain her magic for days," Taiga explained.
I rolled my eyes but let out a groan when a bolt of pain shot through my head. I could feel Matthew tentatively and hesitantly massage my back.
"Says the person that picks at their stitches whenever they are nervous," I sighed as I hung my head.
That comment earned me a scowl from Taiga.
The massaging felt nicer than I expected. Especially considering the fact that I now had a large Wiccan like symbol on my back after defeating Elize and her Puppet Monster Lloyd in a battle to the death.
I suddenly began looking around as I realized something. "Where is Opal?" I asked Matthew frowning.
Taiga answered the question for me though. "Your little black dust ball has been going to the post office these few days you've been sleeping. Apparently, even flea baits get mail," he told me.
"Oh well, that's not surprising considering Kimmy-Wait I've been out for days!" I exclaimed as I suddenly stiffened.
"Yes I was really worried," Matthew whispered as the hand that was holding my wrist move to grip my hand.
I looked at him carefully for once since waking up, noticing the dark rings under his eyes and his extremely pale skin.
Then a thought occurred to me.
"Matthew, have you been eating?" I asked slowly.
He let out a small yawn. "Yes I had some regular food this morning," he told me.
"Well, I can feed you," I told him instantly.
I knew exactly what he meant by regular food.
Human food.
"Eh!" He exclaimed.
Taiga let out a snicker.
I let out a sigh. "You heard me, I know how you are. You won't feed off of anyone but me so I'll feed you," I told Matthew.
"W-well that's because it feels unnatural and uncomfortable if I try it with anyone else. But I won't do it with him in here!" He spluttered his face red as he pointed at Taiga.
Taiga smirked as he released my wrist and stood up. "So the child is embarrassed to be see drinking from a bottle?" He said smugly.
Matthew's eyes narrowed as he gritted his teeth. "You better not be implying what I think you are," he said through gritted teeth.
"Sister Complex," Taiga said shrugging.
Matthew growled.
"Hey! Before you two continue fighting please remember that I have an awful headache," I reminded them.
Taiga wordlessly left the room after I said that.
I got out of bed and walked over to Matthew. Then I sat down on his lap laying myself across it. I wrapped my arms around his neck and sighed.
"Can you tell me what Taiga was implying?" I asked as I moved my hair to the side.
Matthew's face turned red as he avoided looking me in my eyes. "He implied that I was going to get the blood from your breast like a milk substitute child...ugh I hate that bastard," he mumbled.
I felt my face twist in disgust as I craned my neck to the side. "I'm ready so bite whenever you feel like," I said softly.
He placed his hands on my shoulders and back gently supporting me. "I promise I'll be gentle Corina," he whispered.
I sighed. "Matthew, you choose to make it gentle when you feed on me. You've put your hands on me once already, that wasn't gentle. Do it again and you'll lose those hands," I threatened my voice nothing but a whisper.
A moment later his fangs sank down into the soft flesh of my neck.
And I felt nothing but pure warmth and euphoria.
