Memaw and I sadly missed the dinner, but we had A LOT to catch up on and there is only so much time I get to spend time with her before Memaw may change her mind about going back to work and on the road

The Next Morning,

I woke up to feel and open my eyes to see Memaw's side of the bed empty, but I had heard the shower run, so I know that either Memaw or Alex was in the shower.

A few minutes later, Memaw came out of the bathroom, dressed with her hair dripping wet and holding a towel, trying to get all the water out of her hair

"Good morning baby, I'm sorry if I disturbed you". Memaw said

"Oh no Memaw, you're fine". I said as she smiled

"I needed a shower, I was going to take one last night, but we started talking and fell asleep and I totally forgot about showering, so I needed one". Memaw said as she sat down on the bed taking a comb to her hair and brushing the tangles out of it, while keeping a towel under to catch water

"I am going to take one and I totally forgot about mine too". I  said as I got up to get clothes and off to the shower I go

20 minutes later

I got out of the shower to see that Memaw had already left to go downstairs, so I got dressed and did my hair and makeup to go downstairs to see my whole family down there

"Mama, I am so sorry about last night, me and Memaw were talking and next thing I know its morning". I said as my mama stared at me

"It's alright, but next time you get completely exhausted, come tell me, because everyone was asking about you, and I went to check on you, and found y'all bot out like a light". Mama said as she smiled at me

"I didn't mean for it to happen, it's just coming home everyday after school (college) classes and doing all my queen priorities, just make me physically  exhausted". I said as mama still stared at me

"It's alright baby, I understand that school (college) has taken a toll on you and you get exhausted after, then having to come home and have priorities after school". Mama said as she wrapped her arms around me and kissed my head

"Thanks mama, to be completely and totally honest with you, I thought you were going to be upset with me, because I missed the dinner party". I said

"You're welcome baby, and no, I'm not upset, because I understand that you have a lot going on and it's not easy to be a full-time college student, be the queen, and have time for a social life, which is hard, so I completely understand and it was one dinner party, and it wasn't that great anyway, because their was a little bit of drama, and I can't stand royal family drama". Mama said

Yeah, me neither, but it happens, I don't know why, but it does, because the royals try to compete to see who is the best". I said as mama smiled

"Ain't that the truth, they always want attention and they can't sit down and enjoy time with one another". Mama said

"Next time, don't put the families who don't like each other together, because that turns into one big disaster". I said

"I thought that they would at least put their differences and hatred for one another aside to enjoy a nice evening and a meal, that took along time to plan and prepare". Mama said

"I'm just glad that no one hasn't gotten into a fight, because the princesses hardly talk to each other, because they all want the same boys and can't have them". I said

"They better not, because our home is not going to become a boxing ring and girls need to get an education and go to college and no worry about who their going to get and get married to". Mama said

"I wish that for one evening that everyone would learn to get along". I said

"Me too baby, me too". Mama said as Daddy came over and wrapped his arms around her

"I love you babe". Daddy said in Mama's ear

"I love you too baby". Mama said as she snuck a kiss, because they know that we would start getting weirded out by it
