SOTC: I Can Do Anything - 3OH!3

"SHUT UP! NO TALKING!" Mr. Stone yelled at Ray and I. Ray had whispered something that made both of us start to giggle.

I felt all eyes turn to us. I blushed and slithered lower in my desk. Ray gently patted my back and handed me a note. I took it and read it.

I quickly wrote back.

it's ok. you're new. you didn't know any better. :)

I threw it over my shoulder and I heard Ray catch it. He scribbled on it then balanced it on my shoulder. I stifled my giggle and read it.

LEAVE THE LITTLE NEW KID ALONE CHAD!

I started to laugh again. Ray quickly put his hand over my mouth, shutting me up.

This is gonna be a loooooong day!

~After School~

 "Bye Ray. See you Monday." I gave him a small wave as I started to walk to the football field.

"WAIT!" Ray ran to catch up with me. "Where are you going?!"

" One of my...um... firends, wanted me to watch him at football practice."

"Is this the same friend that gave you that wicked hickey?"

I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at him. He laughed. "You thought I didn't see it?"

"I-Is it r-really noticeable?" I blushed and put my hand over it.

"Yeah dude. Didn't you see all the looks you were getting?"

"I choose to ignore people... I'm not the most liked person you know..."

Ray just nodded and that was the end of it.

We made it to the football field right as they began practice. We sat down in the bleachers. The coach looked at us and gave us a small nod, as he started to bark orders to the team.

"Is he always that loud...and bossy?" Ray asked as he watched the coach.

I chuckled lightly. "You should see him during games. He's WAY louder than that."

~2 Hours Later~

The team had finished their practice so Ray was getting ready to leave.

"Dude, give me your number before I go!" Ray said and handed me his phone. I put in my number and handed him his phone back. He held out his hand for mine and I handed it to him. He quickly put in his number and handed it back. I looked at his contact.

"Brown Man?" I started to giggle. He laughed.

"Yeah dude! Ride's here! Gotta go! Bye Chad!" He sprinted down the bleachers and ran to his ride. He waved before he got in and I waved back. He got in and the car drove off.

I smiled. Ray's pretty cool! I really like him. No not in THAT way.

"Does someone have a crush?" I jumped and turned to my right. Jack was smirking at me. I glared at him.

"No I DO NOT have a crush! He's just my friend!" I picked up my stuff as he started laughing.

"That's how it always starts off. As friends." We walked down the bleachers. Jack slung his bag over his shoulder with one arm then wrapped his other around my waist. I blushed and he just smiled.

I noticed some of the football players watching us. I saw Mar earlier but I don't-

"Chad?! What the hell are you doing?! Where are you going with...HIM?!"

I was about to answer him, but Jack beat me to it.

"It's none of your business." Jack pulled me closer to him. Mar just ignored him and kept staring at me. I blushed and looked away.

"Chad-"

"Maaaar!!~" The three of us turned our attention to the girl running to us. I realized that it was, Eliza, the head cheerleader.

Did I also mention that she's one of the few that picks on me 24/7?

Cause she is.

She went up to Mar and wrapped her arm around his waist.

Typical. The football captain and head cheerleader go out. Not surprising.

"If you'll excuse us," Jack glanced at me and gave me a smile. "WE should be going." He gave me a small pull.

We turned around and started to walk off of the field. I felt Mar staring at me. I don't care. He's not my parent! He doesn't tell me what to do!

"God he's annoying." Jack said as we got to his truck.

I smiled a little as he opened the door for me. "Tell me about it."

He smirked and threw both of our bags in the back. He got in the drivers seat and started the engine.

"So, where are we going?" I looked at him and asked.

"Oh, I don't know. Movies?"

"Sure."
