Shred It Go

Lindsey's POV

I want to go to the MKTO concert so bad, but it's sold out. They are one of my favorite bands and I didn't get a ticket for the concert. Phoebe and I were trying to win tickets to the concert by submitting a video online and winning them. Phoebe and I agreed on whoever wins gives the other person the second ticket, so it doesn't matter which one of us wins. There are three tickets they are giving out of they win.

Phoebe got Max to help with her video because he wanted to take some girl to the concert. Her name is Cassandra and she doesn't like me at all. I don't understand why she doesn't like me, I did nothing wrong. Every time I'm with Max she glares at me and gives me dirty looks. It's strange.

I submitted my video and I believe it was a good chance of winning. If I win, I'm not giving Max my ticket, he doesn't deserve it.

I was at Splatburger with Phoebe, Max, and Oyster. Max was just staring at Cassandra which bugged me, Oyster was actually eating and Phoebe and I were checking our phones to see if we won the tickets.

"Guys, why invite me if you're gonna stare at Cassandra and the two of you are gonna stare at your phones to find out if you that contest?" Oyster asked us and we looked at him

"We didn't invite you, you were already here," Max told Oyster while eating his french fry.

"Oh! Then carry on." Oyster told us and I turned back to my phone. I gasped when I saw that I won.

"MKTO my gosh! I won!" I exclaimed and turned to Phoebe. "I actually won! Phoebe I did!"

"Omg, yay!" She exclaimed and we hugged. "I can have a ticket right?!"

"Of course!" I beamed and turned to Max who was in shock.

"You won? But the video we submitted was for sure going to win." Max mentioned and I shrugged.

"Guess mine was better." I chuckled and Max rolled her eyes.

"Max, it doesn't matter who won. Lindsey can still give you a ticket, right Linds?" Phoebe asked me and I nonchalantly stared at my phone pretending not to listen.

"Lindsey?" Phoebe repeated and my eyes wandered over to her.

"Yes?" I said.

"You will get three tickets and can give one of them to Max," Phoebe told me and I shrugged, putting down my phone.

"What if I don't want to?" I admitted and Max furrowed his eyebrows at me.

"What? Why?" Max asked me.

"Because I promised I would give one to Phoebe and not you," I replied.

"Linds, just give one to my brother." Pheobe pleaded and I sighed. I looked at Max for a moment and rolled my eyes.

"Fine." I gave in and Max grinned. I stood up from my seat. "I have to go home. Bye."

They said their goodbyes to me before I left Splatburger. I didn't want to give Max a ticket because I didn't want him to go with Cassandra.

----

My tickets came in about an hour later and I made my way over to the Thundermans house to give Phoebe and Max their tickets.

When I walked in, I saw a shredding machine and whole box of papers and boxes in the living room.

"Hi, Lindsey." Barb greeted me and I waved. "Phoebe isn't here yet."

"I know, I came here to give Phoebe and Max their tickets," I informed her, holding up my envelope. "I won!"

"Congrats, sweetie." She smiled at me.

"Thanks." I grinned and placed the envelope down on a coffee table.

I heard the door open and Phoebe and Max walked in.

"You really think Lindsey's going to give you another MKTO ticket?" Phoebe asked her brother she walked in with him trailing behind her.

"Wait? What?" I blinked confusedly.

"Do monkey's have monkey butts?" Max asked.

"Hineys." Colosso corrected.

"What about the tickets?" I cut in, knowing this is about me.

"Max wants to use two of the tickets because Cassandra's feel through," Phoebe told me and I scoffed.

"No way," I replied and Max groaned.

"Did the tickets get here yet?" Phoebe asked me and I nodded.

"Yeah, I set them down over there." I pointed near the shredder.

"Where exactly?" Phoebe specified.

"Near the magazines."

"Where are the magazines?" Max asked.

"In Shreddie's belly!" Billy rubbed his belly and I opened my mouth in disbelief.

"You shredded my tickets?!" I went up to the shredder and peaked inside.

"I'm not sure I shredded the list of things I shredded," Hank confessed and I glared at the superhero. Hank walked away and I sighed heavily.

"Don't worry, the tickets must be in one of the fifty trash bags out back." Billy pointed to the many trash bags outside.

"We need to find those tickets! How will Malcolm and/or Tony fall in love with us they never see us!" Phoebe exclaimed and I nodded.

"Please," I begged.

"We'll find the tickets girls, we'll help you." Barb offered and we all ran outside to search.

"I'm sorry, Pheebs." I apologized. "I shouldn't have let them down."

"Don't worry about it," Phoebe assured me but I could tell she was upset.

"Lindsey!" I heard Max call me and I ran over to the door a few moments later.

"Max, why'd you call me? Did you find the tickets?" I asked him with hope.

"No! I was just practicing how I would yell your name if I found the tickets." Max told me and I folded my arms. "Which I did not!"

I rolled my eyes and walked away. I feel so bad, this is my fault.

Later that night, Max left for some reason and the rest of us were trying to glue the shredded paper back together to find the tickets.

The only thing I wanted to do was go to the MKTO concert but instead, I have I'm messing with shredded paper.

"Great, still no tickets but somehow I made these paper mittens." Phoebe lifted up her hands and they were covered in shredded paper.

"At least you don't have a paper wig" I turned to Phoebe, attempting to brush out the strands of paper.

"Don't worry, girls," Barb reassured us. "We have two more hours before the concert, everybody glue faster!"

"We do not know how this happened!" Nora exclaimed and looked at her. Nora and Billy were glued together and walking in the circle.

"Uh-uh!" Billy shook his head. I rolled my eyes and stood up.

"Just forget it, we're never gonna find them." I shook my head and Phoebe followed.

"At least we can still hang out with my cardboard cuties!" Phoebe grinned and looked around. "Has anybody seen Malcolm and Tony?"

That's when Hank walked in, carrying in a glued together Tony.

"Well, here's Tony. You don't want to see Malcolm." Hank told us and I rubbed my face.

"That's it! My life is officially over!" I cried out and stormed away.

"Agreed!" Phoebe cried and followed me.

----

Phoebe and I got cleaned up and headed over to Splatburger to eat dinner. Phoebe still had glue on her shoe which made her walk funny and I had still had glue in my hair which caused it to get stuck to my cheeks.

"Stupid shoe! Can't even make it three blocks!" Phoebe exclaimed as we entered the restaurant. She took off her shoe and flung it around.

"Work with me hair. I need something nice to happen to me today!" I tried to pull off the hair on my cheeks but it wouldn't budge.

"I'm so done with this day." I continued frowning.

"Welcome to Splatburger!" An employee greeted us. "Forgive me, I'm a little flustered by this crazy dinner rush." He chuckled.

"We're the only ones here," I told him.

"Uh, for now. But when the MKTO concert lets out. There's gonna be food flying out of that tube, that tube, and that tube!" He pointed to all of the tubes. "Splat! Splat! Splat!"

He walked away and Phoebe and I sighed.

I heard the door opened and turned to see who walked in. It was two guys and they had fake mustaches on. They looked oddly familiar. My eyes widened when I realized who they were and Phoebe's did too.

"Phoebe," I whispered to her, grabbing her arm. "It's-

"MKTO!" She whispered-yelled. We both fangirled on the inside together.

"Sweet! This place is empty." Tony said and my hearted melted when I heard his voice. "Well, I guess we don't need these."

They ripped off their fake mustaches and cringed in pain.

It really is them!

"It's MKTO!" We both breathed out with excitement.

"Man, good thing no one is here. I mean I love our fans but we seem to lose a few when they see you chew your food, you know?" Malcolm mentioned.

Tony faked laughed. "Okay, mom. Look, I'm just glad we get a nice quiet meal before tonight's concert, you know?"

"Just a couple of regular guys, not MKTO," Malcolm said and Tony nodded.

"It's MKTO!" The employee that greeted us said from behind us. "I'm so chirping this! We're gonna be packed in no time!" He laughed and Phoebe and I turned to him.

"Wait!" We both said.

"No, you'll scare them away!" I exclaimed and used my Ice Manipulation to freeze him and Phoebe used her telekinesis to shut the doors.

"Excuse me!" Malcolm called and we turned to the boys. "Can we get a table?"

Omg, they are talking to us.

Nothing but jumble words came out of my mouth. I couldn't speak.

"Right away!" Phoebe finished for me and we both went over to them. Phoebe had trouble walking because of her shoe and my hair was still stuck to my cheeks.

"Hey, are you two okay?" Tony asked us, putting his hands on our shoulders.

I glanced at his hand and stuttered. "I'm feeling a little weak in the knees."

Phoebe nodded, speechless.

"Are you sure it's not your busted shoes? And your glued stained hair?" Malcolm asked us and Tony cringed.

"Come one, Malcolm. You don't insult two pretty girls shoes and hair." Tony berated Malcolm and I giggled, blushing.

Tony just called me pretty.

"Pretty?!" Phoebe and I simultaneously said, beaming.

Phoebe snorted and she immediately covered her mouth, embarrassed. I redeemed myself and gestured to the table.

"Have a seat. I'm gonna water some grab you." I offered and then realized what I justed said.

"She means grab you some waters." Phoebe corrected and I nodded with red cheeks, before walking away.

"Thank you," Malcolm said as they sat down.

We walked behind a wall and fangirled like crazy

Time passed and the boys got their food they ordered which just come out of the tube. I know Malcolm likes Wasabi Ranch sauce and decided to give it to them.

I walked over to them and gave Malcolm his sauce.

"Here is your Wasabi Ranch sauce for your Pigs in a Blanket," I told him setting it down.

"Oh! On point, that's my favorite." Malcolm said. "Wait? how did you know that?"

"Because I know youuuuu...Dipping sauces!" I quickly corrected and gave them a friendly smile. "Splat's away!"

Phoebe was standing a few feet from me and I went over to her.

"Oh! Here come my Polynesian Pot Stickers!" Tony smiled, rubbing his hands together.

"Tony can't have Polynesian Pot Stickers!" I told Phoebe, alarmed.

"He's allergic to pineapple." She nodded. The Pot Stickers shot out of the tube and onto the plate. Tony was about to eat the Pot Stickers but Phoebe reacted fast and threw her shoe at him, knocking the Pot Sticker out of his hand.

"Hey! A shoe just took out my Polynesian Pot Sticker!" Tony complained and we approached them.

"I'm sorry, but it's just that you're allergic to pineapple and we didn't want you to get sick," Phoebe explained, apologizing to them.

I couldn't handle it anymore and just explored.

"You're MKTO!" I exclaimed and Phoebe covered my mouth.

"I think the shoe ninja and glue girl are fans, bro," Malcolm told Tony. Tony smiled in realization. Phoebe and I both sighed.

"Okay, it's true," I confessed and glanced at Phoebe. "We're super fans, but we heard you guys say you wanted to have a quiet meal and we ruined it."

"We're sorry." Phoebe apologized, feeling guilty like me.

"Sorry for what? You just saved my life." Tony told Phoebe. "Look, how-how can we repay you?"

"Marry me." I sighed dreamily, looking at Tony who just smiled, blushing.

"Sorry, that was really weird of her to say." Phoebe chuckled, nervously. Her eyes grew. "Let's just hang out forever."

"I think we have a better idea." Malcolm informed us and Tony nodded.

----

(Tony)
We broke down trying to leave town
Flying down the road to change
We were born to run, Cali here we come
Escape from nowhere USA

(Malcolm)
Say goodbye to white picket fences
Say hello to palm trees and Benzes
They say you gotta fall to have it all

(Tony)
Yeah

(Malcolm)
We don't want two kids and a wife
I don't want a job I just want a life
Sometimes the underdogs rise
And the mighty fall

(Tony)
This ain't the same summer song that you used to know
'Cause Jack left Diane thirty years ago
The world is spinning too fast for you and me
So tell me whatever happened to the American dream

Na na na, na na na, na na na
Na na na, na na na, na na na
Na na na, na na na, na na na

This ain't the same summer song that you used to know
'Cause Jack left Diane thirty years ago
The world is spinning too fast for you and me
So tell me whatever happened to the American dream

Phoebe and I smiled dreamily at the boys before applauding them.

I sighed happily. "Does this night ever have to end?"

Malcolm checked his watch. "Uh, yeah. We kind of have that concert thing."

We all stood up and Tony's phone rang and he looked at it.

"And apparently, there is some crazy fan outside the venue, screaming at birds," Tony informed us and I scoffed.

"Some fans just don't know how to act." Phoebe shook her head as she slides Malcolm's used napkin into her pocket.

"Yeah! Are you putting my used napkin into your pocket?" Malcolm asks her.

"What? No." Phoebe denied as she continued putting the napkin into her pocket.

I smiled at her. I may not have gone to the actual concert, but I met MKTO and they gave us a private concert. Losing those tickets was fate I guess.
