~With Spark, Red, Leaf, and Jessie~

Spark walked around , pacing as he was awaiting for Hau to come back from his grandpa. Hau told him that he has something to give to the trainer right away. 

Red looks at his friend, as he laughs of the trainer's nervousness. 

"Spark, chill out. It's going to be absolutely fine, besides, we got your back." Red said to the sixteen year old trainer as Leaf turns around as she asks, "Do you know where Gary went off to?"

"Oh, he went somewhere with James and Meowth. They said of trying to locate the Wormhole by trying to go to an ancient temple in Aloha. " Jessie explains, as she recalls of where the Pokémon researcher went off to. 

Leaf seems to be disappointed as she said, "Oh, I see." 

Spark stops pacing as he notices Leaf's behavior.  "You have a crush on Gary Oak?"

"Wait, why you say t-that? " Leaf asks nervously as Spark, Red, and Jessie sees the total redness in her cheeks as the trio begins to laugh. 

"It's all right, Leaf. You don't have to be embarrassed about it. It took me a few days to admit I was truly in love with Persia. She's smart, funny, eager to battle and she's more to just being my girlfriend, she's my friend who supported me when I went in search for Ash in the first place and supported me in my decisions I make." Spark said. 

Speaking of his girl makes him worried about how long she can withstand of being the host of Nihilego.

"I know that you will save her, Spark. She is fighting Nihilego, I just know it." Leaf said, as she embraces him in a hug to ease his pain. 

Spark seems to be calm by his friend's words, as he said, "Thanks, Leaf. I really needed that." 

Both friends smiled at one other as Hau came running into the room. 

"Hau!" Leaf said, as the trainer pants from running. 

"I'm glad you're here. Spark, I have something for you . Here's the Z-ring." 

Spark looks at the black Z-ring as he places it into his right wrist. 

"Grandpa suggested that you should use the Z-ring to defeat the Ultra Beast. That would give you and your Pokémon the ultimate boost you need ." 

Jessie looks at his newly-given Z-ring, "You really think it's going to be easy to take down an unknown Pokémon like Nihilego?"

"It's worth a shot . I mean, you saw how much Serena and Persia was powerful enough to win against our Pokémon. We needed this." Red said. 

Spark couldn't felt this excitement since he and his father had a battle against one other, just for fun, in a league without any enimes to worry about. 

But now this is a whole new ball game. It's about making sure that Lusamine wouldn't get The Key of Beginning from his sister that he barely knew, and trying to save his mother and girlfriend from paying any sacifice. 

The trainer looks at Hau with a smile as he said, thanking the trainer, "This is absolutely incredible, Hau. I really appreciated the help you've given us." 

Hau raises his hands, "Hey, no mention it , Spark. I'm glad that I was able to help a friend in need. It's a habit of mine that I never intend to break. It's like destiny that brought us together." 

Red raises an eyebrow, "You seriously think it's destiny? It sounds kind of fishy." 

Spark said, reassuring his friend, "Red, I believe it. I had an experience with destiny before, remember?

I want to free my mother, Latifa and Persia from this awful nightmare and be at peace for once. Once we defeat Team RR and Lusamine, things would be normal." 

" 'Normal' " isn't in your vocabulary, Spark. You'll do something crazy. You're Ash's son after all." Jessie said, laughing at her cousin's leature. 

Spark said, laughing, "Yeah, I guess you've a point there, Jessie. " 

Hau ask, "So, what's our plan now? I'm eager for a battle." 

"Hau, you know any Pokémon who can help us, besides Areus?" Jessie asks. 

"I think we should head to my home isle. Grandpa might have an answer to that." Hau suggested. 

"Then let's go!" Leaf said, as Spark felt a beep in his Pokegear, a message that he didn't have time to read as he and the others left for Haru's home. 

~With Ash, Mekhi and the others in Sinnoh~

There was intensity in the air, as Ash and the others seems to be ready in sure that Mekhi would attack, as he sighs, "Relax, you guys , I'm not going to threaten all of you. " 

Ash asks in total suprise, "You aren't? But why you dress so formally and why you in the Sinnoh Police office?"

May went up to the former Pokemon master as she looks at him for a slight moment, then wack him in the head for being stupid in front of Mekhi. 

"Geez, Ash. You're so intense since the events of "The Project Chosen. " Beesides, we're on a mission here." The Coordinator said, as Brandon raises his hand, "What sort of mission?"

Looker and Mekhi looked at each other, as wondering if it's a good thing to tell Ash and the others of what they're up to , and telling about the secret of Latifa's power. 

Max said, "Mekhi , there is nothing we can do anymore. Ash and the others are here and of course we intend to try to keep the secret for a while before they showed up. I suggest we just tell them the truth." 

"But Spark told us not to say anything, remember? He'll be furious if he finds out that Ash knows the truth." May said, pointing out which Ash was stunned of hearing that his own son was keeping a secret from him. 

"What's going on?" The Pokemon master demanded , as May and Max were scared as Brock touches his old friend. 

"Take it easy, Ash. You're scaring them. For now, let's just ask Looker. He knows much as they know." 

That was Mekhi said, "No. You guys deserve the truth, besides with I've done with our previous encounterment, I have to take full responsiblity." 

May said, "Mekhi, c'mon, you don't have to blame yourself for everything has happened. Besides, Spark forgave you for that. " 

The Pokémon Investigator smiles at her , by the comfort of her words, "Thanks, May. " 

Max said, "Well, I should try hacking into Lusamine's computer again, so try to give me time to figure out the security safes and let you know anything.  Shinx, com'on and help me out." 

The electric type Pokémon follows his trainer as Dawn and the others were in total amazement that he has a Shinx as his companion . 

Mekhi said, "You known me as Giovanni, but my real name is Mekhi. I used to be the leader of Team Rocket, but now, I'm making amends by starting over as the new Sinnoh Police Investigator Headmaster. 

Yeah , when Spark and Jessie found out about it, they were, a little bit shocked ." 

"Spark was here?" Brandon asks. 

Mekhi nodded, "Yes, he did. But it was right after Serena and Persia attacked both of them with Delphox and Ursring. " 

"How could Serena and Persia do such a thing? " Misty asks. 

"It's not them. Not their real selves persay. It's all Nihilego's doing." May explains as Dawn asks, "A what now?"

"Nihilego. It's a Pokemon . " Looker explained, "An Ultra Beast come from another dimension." 

Here, this is what it looks like." 

Bonnie said, "That looks completely creepy. Glad I didn't encounter that Pokemon." Clement rolls his eyes at his younger sister as her statement wasn't really helping . 

"What has that do to with Serena and Persia's behavior?" The Lumiose Gym leader as Mekhi in a curious expression.

The investigator sighs, "The truth is... Serena and Persia had been chosen to become hosts for Nihilego. " 

The gang's eyes widen in pure shock of hearing of having Serena and Persia in peril danger, as Ash fell to his knees of hearing about his wife.

"No. Not again." He said. 

"I'm so sorry that you have to hear this, my friend. Spark didn't want you to hear any of this, but now you know, it's best of letting your son finish what he intends to do." Mekhi said, as Dawn puts her hands to her hips, "Oh, there is more to it than that, isn't there?

You're hiding something other than this Nihilego hosting our friends, isn't there?"

"You're keen as I expected you would be, ms. Hikari. Yes, there is more, more importantly is the Tree of Beginning." 

"The Tree of Beginning. Why is the Tree important?" Ash ask. 

"Well, your family has a role in it, Ash. Your father, Richard Ketchum possess a power which has a piece of the Tree within his soul. It's called , "The Key of Beginning." 

As for every generation, the power has passed to the younger sibling. Your father did try to protect it, but died in the process while serving in the Cameran Palace." 

Aaron said, "I never knew that we had an ancient history about our family serving in the Cameran Palace. How come Lady Ilene didn't mention it to us?"

"She kept it as a secert to keep you safe. When Delia possess it, she asks Serena to give it to her own children. " 

"Wait, did I hear you say, "Children?" Ash ask. 

"Yes, Spark isn't an only child. Serena gave birth to fraternal twins, a brother and sister. But Lusamine, a deep insane Ultra Beast researcher , kidnaps the sister and erase any memories of her, leaving Spark to believe he was an only child. " 

"How creul things get? Who is the daughter of Ash and Serena?" Dawn asks curiously as that was Max finally got the information. 

"Got it! I finally got into Lusamine's data on the Ultra Beast and the next Wormhole appearance! It took me a while to hack it all down. I'll inform Spark and his group right away." Max reported. 

"Good. Looker, you should-" 

"Try to hunt Serena and Persia's whereabouts. I'm on it, Mekhi. " He said, leaving the room. 

"So, tell us. Who is Ash's daughter?" Brock asks. 

"Don't tell me you guys didn't realize you already met her? It's Latifa." May said. 

Ash and the other's heart skip a beat as they weren't aware of the revelation at all. 

"Latifa.. is my daughter? I can't believe it. " Ash said. 

"I know it's an total shock for you, even Spark was shocked he heard it as well. He's trying to save his sister, on his own, just like before when found out about you being his father, Ash." Mekhi said. 

"Then let's help him out! I'm not loosing either of my friends again. Where is Spark and Jessie anyway?" Brandon asks. 

"They are in Aloha Region. But be warned. If Lusamine finds out you're there, there's trouble." Mekhi warned the group. 

"That doesn't scare us. We dealt with enemies time and time again. We'll manage." Ash shrug as they begin to leave, "One more thing. You have defeat not just Lusamine, you have to defeat Team Rainbow Rocket. " 

"Team RR. I've heard about those thugs before. Don't tell me that they're involved with this too." Brandon said, hoping that wasn't true. 

"Unfourtantely , they are. " Mekhi said sadly as Max said, "Well, we should get going or else Spark and his group will get a head start without us." 

"Good luck, and Ash... I'm sorry for everything I've cost for you and your entire family." 

Ash said, "I can't believe Spark decided to go off on his own like that. It's strange he did that." 

Dawn looks at the former Pokémon master, "Seriously, how many times you risked your life on dangerous situations?

Don't get me wrong, I'm actually envy you. You have a family now, and besides you are so capable of watching over them. " 

"True. " Ash said. He packed his belongings as Delia said, "So, you found out." 

"Yes. I did found out. I guess it's my responsibility as a father to Spark and Latifa. They need me." He said to his mother. 

They embraced in a hug, "You can do this, Ash. I know you can do anything. You are so stubborn." 

"Says the woman who gave away The Key of Beginning. I will get all of them back to us, Mom. You know I would say, don't ya?" I said. 

"Never give up until it's over. " Mom recited, "Good luck." 

"Ready to go, Ash?" Dawn ask. 

"Yeah. Let's go." Ash said, felt very determined to get his family back.

~With Spark and his group~

Spark sees Hau's isle, "Whoa. That is where you live, Haru?" The trainer rubs his head a bit, "Y-Yeah. I know it's nothing you expected it to be- " 

Jessie said, "Are you kidding?!? I would love to living in an isle! It sounds so cool and you can not just capture Pokémon, you get to explore it in your own backyard! Man, I wish Ash and the others would love to see this." 

Red said, "It's not going to be entirely easy when the Pokémon World is at stake, again. " 

Leaf said, "I know. Every thing that happens always have some evil plot lurking around . It's not fair , even for Spark." 

Jessie said, scolding her, "Leaf, that's still not helping him with that situation right now. " 

She sees what the trainer meant , by looking at Spark's uncertainty of saving his family. 

Hau pointed, "We're in the bay area now. C'mon, I'll introduce all you to my grandpa." 

The group follows the trainer as his grandpa said, "Welcome to Melemele Island. My name is Hala. I'm one of the Kahunas here in Aloha. Consider it like a gym leaders in Kanto. You must be Spark Ketchum, Red, Leaf, and Jessie Ketchum I assume and ask for guidance, correct?"

The group was amazed at the Kahuna as Spark said, "Wow. It seems like we don't have to explain why we're here. 

Hau, your grandpa is truly incredible. " 

Hau blushes, "Uh, thanks. " 

Hala pours tea for the group as he sat straight up . "Lusamine really is going nuts about doing some intense research on Nihilego, but making people into hosts is really extortionary. I hardly can't believe that could be possible. " 

"Hala, you know the history of Aloha better than anyone. Do you think there is a weak spot on Nihilego?" Spark asks, "You gave me this Z-ring as to proof I can use it, but why you gave it to me?" 

"Spark, I noticed how powerful you were on the battle against your father. I watched the special league on television. 

I feared that Lusamine would attack , so , I waited for the right moment for you to possess the Z-Ring and make a Z-move that no one has ever seen before. 

1,000 Volt Thunderbolt." 

Hau jumped from his chair, "Grandpa , you're not seriously asking Spark and Pichu to do that Z-move?!?

Nobody ever heard of that Z-move in ages or seen it up close, it's too big of a risk." 

"You mean, Pichu and I can perform that move on Nihilego and free my mother and Persia? It's big risk, but I know that Pichu and I can do anything. I was just thinking about my own problem with something else." 

"Ah. You also seek help from a Pokémon , correct? I suggest one of the deity Guardians of Aloha , Topo Koko. He might help you with the answer you seek." 

"Thanks, Hala. " Spark said, thanking the Kahuna for the advice. 

They stayed at his place where Pichu was searching through his pants. 

"Pichu, what you searching for, buddy?" He asks him through his aura. 

"Did you look at your Pokegear lately? It seems like you have a message." The mouse Pokémon said, looking at it. 

"Seriously?!? Oh, man, you're right! I guess I've never get the chance to look into it with speaking with Hala." Spark said, totally embarrassed by it.  

He opens it up , as it said, "Spark, I managed to hack the files of Lusamine's computer of the research on the next Ultra Wormhole appearance and about the Ultra Beast. 

It appears that you have to battle them head-on with your Audrain Powers. It's a theatrically advantage approach, and you have to aim it while Serena or Persia is still being hosted. I didn't want May or Mekhi know that truth.  Also, you might have to hurry. The next Wormhole would come in the next three moons. 

If you don't fight them, they would go back to the Ultra Dimension, forever! 

By the way, Spark, there's um, an unexpected issue: Ash and others... they sort of stumbled into Mekhi's office and kind of know the truth now. Mekhi told them everything. So, don't act shocked when reading this. 

They're trying to locate you now as we speak. Whatever you do, please don't do anything stupid.

Spark sighs, "Oh, I knew it that Dad would try come. I have a plan to rescue Latifa on my own terms, and Red and Jessie know about it. And with 1,000 Volt, it's sounds a lot of stuff happening all at once." 

"So, you think it's impossible. Have you forgotten your father's motto, haven't you?" Pichu asks his best friend. 

" ' Don't give up until it's over."  Yeah, he's right! I can't give in, not yet. We have to do some intense training with Topo Koko to learn 1,000 Volts and we can also save everyone! " 

"That's the Spark I know. Let's get going!" Pichu said, hopping into his trainer's shoulder as Spark smiles at his partner and walk into the unknown .
