~At Aether Paradise~

Latifa was in her bedroom. She experienced of seeing an Ultra Beast came from an Ultra Wormhole, but something in her heart that this isn't right. 

"Uh, why am I so confused? I am doing the right thing of kidnapping the Kalos Queen am I?" She thought to herself. 

Vileplume touches her arm, trying to reassure her trainer that everything would be ok. 

At the same moment, Lusamine came into her room. "Mother." She said, as Lusamine asks, "You feel anything, dear?"

"No. Nothing special." Latifa replied. Ever since she can remember, her mother put some special testing on her , like there was something unique inside her, like a side effect. 

Even with her battling, Lusamine even put some notes on her battling, like there was something that she was yearning for, but even if she tries to ask Lusamine about what she was looking for, she quickly doges the question and begin her researches of the Ultra Beasts.  

Lusamine said, "All right , dear. I better get back to work. Yell if you need anything." 

She leaves the room, as Steph sighs , covering herself with her pillow, "This is so lame! Mother really doesn't care what I want to do, it's unfair! Uh!" 

She felt pain in her stomach as Vileplume eases her pain by smoothing it's tentacles and cuddles her trainer. 

"Thanks, Vileplume. You're the best friend anyone can ask. I still remember how I met you. You were pretty naughty with the other wild Pokémon." 

Flashback to young Latifa, around 8 years old  

Latifa was in the forest by her mother's permission, "Don't go too far so I can see you , Latifa. " 

"K." She said. That was when she notices a wild Oddish causing trouble to the other wild Pokémon by using Razor Leaf . 

"Hey! That's enough, Oddish. " She said, as Oddish was mad at her, defending the other Pokémon as it ran to the forest. 

Latifa follows it , as she pouts, "Now where did Oddish gone off to?"

That was when she saw Oddish in the raging river, as if it was drowning in the river! 

"Oddish!" Latifa yells as she quickly took action by tying herself to a long vine and dive into the water to save the desperate Pokémon. 

Latifa manages to pull both of them to safety as she ran back to her mother, "Mommy! Oddish fell into a dangerous ravine and she needs help!" 

Lusamine took a look at Oddish, "Well, you managed to save Oddish by yourself, that's very brave of you, sweetie. I'll make sure that Oddish is healthy. Go dry yourself."  

Oddish was healthy enough as Steph said, "Oddish, you're all better! Thank goodness! Would you... like to be my partner? 

We'll make an excellent team! Mom, can I keep her, pretty please, I promise I'll take really good care of it." 

Lusamine chuckles, "Sure. It seems like Oddish wants to be your partner as well, as it saw how determined you were of saving her from the ravine." 

"All right!"  She yells happily.

Latifa smiled at the memory , "Well, at least things did turn all right in the end, but I'm curious, what is Mother planning to do with that Ultra Beast?"

~With Spark, Jessie and Red~

"Well, your Litten is all taken care of. " Nurse Joy said to Spark as Red and Spark took his newly captured Pokemon to the Pokemon Center to be checked up. 

"Thanks a lot, Nurse Joy. I really appriecated . " Spark said , thanking the Pokemon Nurse as both boys exist the Center. 

"This is awesome that you have Litten as your first Alohan Pokemon, Spark. You should be proud of yourself." Red said. 

But Spark felt uneasy, mostly because of Latifa, his only sister.

"Thinking about your little sister, man? We'll rescue her before Lusamine takes her hands on the Key of Beginning within her. " Red said. 

"Yeah, I know I shouldn't be worried, but I have a plan to rescue her. Let's talk with Jessie. She needs to hear what I have to say too." 

Jessie saw the boys as she asks, "Red, Spark! You're back early than usual. " 

"Well, I think there is something I need to discuss with the both of you. It's about Latifa and Team RR." 

Spark unrevial his plan to attempt to rescue Latifa as Jessie and Red were in utter shock of his rescue attempt. 

"You guys think it's a risk?" Spark asks them as Red said, thinking of it, "It is. I never thought of it like that before." 

Jessie said, "I don't like the idea, Spark. It sounds dangerous." 

"Guys, think about it. It'll be my chance of helping Latifa realize I'm her big brother. It has to work." Spark said, "Besides, Ash would've thought of it too if he was in my place right now." 

Jessie sighs, "Yeah, you're right. Fine, have it your way. We'll back you up , so if Team RR is on your way, we'll be the decoys for the plan to work." 

Spark waves his hands, "You guys don't have to be in the plan, besides, you should focus on Nihilego and freeing Persia and my mother. " 

"True, Nihilego is a Pokemon we never encounter before. We should get research about it so by the time we encounter it, we'll not be suprised. " Jessie said to Red. 

"Hau and his uncle, Hala, said that the Ultra Wormhole only opens once a year, or as a summoning. 

Hau is trying to locate Lusamine's hideout as we speak, in a long while, we should get into practice battles. " Red said. 

"All right, it's good practice for Litten. He's going to need to be in serious training." Spark said, as Jessie said, "I'll take you on, cousin." 

Leaf said, "This I got to see. Can I be your referee for this , Spark?"

"Sure, more the merrier." Spark said. 

~With Max, Ash, and the gang~

May and Max turned around to see their old friend as he waves at them. "Hey, it's been a while, hasn't it?" Ash said. 

May nods, "Y-Yeah, it sure has. I bet it's not easy to regain your title from Spark, isn't?"

Ash pouts, "You don't have to rub it in that my own son beaten me in a tournament. Although, I hate to admit it, Spark's got a real talent with being a trainer." 

Clement said, "Well, he is your child. It's no suprise that he wanted to compete with the Pokemon Master. " 

Max pulled his sister aside for them to speak privately , "May, this is bad! So very bad! I didn't know that Ash and the others would be here!" 

"I know exactly what you mean by that , Max. How we going to act that we don't know what's really happening with Persia and Serena? With them being hosts to Nihilego?"

"We'll think of something . I know! May, how about you do an Pokemon Showcase performance for them, just to distract until they fall asleep and meet at the airport to go to Sinnoh and meet Mekhi ourselves?"

May looks at her friends as they were curious of what they were talking about. 

"What's with the whispering?" Ash asks as both of the trainers sweat nervously, but then May said, "How about I do a Pokémon Showcase performance? It's been a while, and I do need an audience to practice with." 

Aaron asks, "A Pokémon Showcase? I've never heard a thing like that before." 

Brandon looks at the Pokémon Aura trainer, "It's a performance to show how much a bond between Pokémon and trainer can do . 

It's been passed on to each generation, although, Serena would've passed it on to Spark, but it's not like him to do it. " 

Ash said, "I don't know if a performance would help solve of where Serena and Persia are right now,  we have to search for them. " 

May and Max were worried , but then all of a sudden, a pink Pokémon appeared before them as Brock, Misty, and Ash were shocked and scared of it. 

"Out of all the Pokémon, why it has to be that Jigglypuff?" Misty said, as Brandon asks, "What's so scary about it? I think it's cute." 

Brock said, "No, you don't understand, that Jigglypuff is very sensitive. Don't listen to its voice, you'll-" 

Jigglypuff starts to sing as the group was falling to its singing , but luckily, Max and May were able to sneak away before it sang. 

Max and May sigh in total relief as they finally made it to the Sinnoh Pokémon Police HQ. 

Mekhi was stunned to see the two siblings as he asks, "So, Spark told you what's been happening, did he?" 

"Yeah, and we want in. We want to help you, Mekhi." 

"I guess that I need junior Pokémon Investigators. How about you try to look any information about the Ultra Wormhole and Nihilego in the Sinnoh Region? We need all the intel we can get." 

"I'll stay here in the HQ to hack into Lusamine's computer and get her files, I master hacking ." Max said, as May ask, "You never told me that you can hack computers before. " 

"It was a secret that I picked up during my Journey. It made a lot of helpful information on Pokémon I never heard of. " Max replied to his older sister, "Shinx, come on out and help me!" 

Shinx appears as Mekhi said, "A Shinx, huh? Impressive." 

  "I caught it when I was in my Journey, this shinx is very powerful and helpful to me when it comes to electric type abilities. " Max said, rubbing his head. 

"Well, we should get going." Mekhi, said, "Who knows how long Spark can handle being in Aloha and might need help of distract Team RR and fulfill the mission of saving the people he cares about. " 

"Spark is Ash's son. Of course he would succeed ." Max said, reassuring the head of the Police Investigator.   

Mekhi was silent for a moment, but then begins to laugh . 

"Yeah, I guess you have a point. Ha, man, I am still in disbelief that Spark and Ash are related all this time. I regret of teared their relationship between father and son. 

I'm an idiot." 

"Ash is Ash. No matter what, he puts others first before himself. Besides, their personalities are similar. If Spark trusts you, so will we." May said. 

Mekhi asks, "While on the subject, how you get away from Ash and his collages anyway?"

"The singing Jigglypuff . He appeared out of nowhere and started to sing everyone to sleep. Talk about a lucky break." Max said, remembering back. 

"Things are working out as I hoped it would. Spark, please don't do anything reckless. You have friends are willing to help." 

Mekhi thought in his mind, as May and Max went to investigate on how much information they can provide to help their friend soon as possible.
