(One week later)

Tonight was Kenji's NXT in ring debut, and the Filipino Samurai was already prepared. He was already in his ring attire and was in the middle of taping up his hands and wrists until he heard a knock on the door.

Kenji: come in, it's open

The door opened and it was the Pirate Princess herself, Kairi Sane. Kairi stopped in her tracks as she saw Kenji's tone body. She regained her senses as the Samurai turned around to face her.

Kenji: oh hello Kairi

Kairi: hi, wait how do you know my name?

Kenji: the shiny gold championship around your shoulder

Kairi: oh

She giggled.

Kenji: ああ私のマナーはどこですか、私の名前はKenjiです (oh where are my manners, my name is Kenji)

Kairi: 私はあなたを知っています (I already know who you are)

Kenji: you do?

Kairi: I watched your matches in NJPW, and you got some awesome stuff

Kenji: thank you, I've watched you in the Mae Young Classic, and your Insane Elbow is really effective and uh...

Kenji was at lost of words because of Kairi's adorable and cute smile. She giggled as he stuttered.

Kairi: you have something to say, Kenji?

Kenji: あなたは本当にかわいいと美しいです (you're really cute and beautiful)

Kairi put her hand over her cheek to hide her blush while she had an adorable smile on her face. 

Kairi: you're kidding right?

She giggled and blushed.

Kenji: I'm not kidding Kairi, you're really cute and pretty, and uh... while I was watching the Mae Young Classic while I was in Japan, I was cheering for you to win the whole thing

Kairi's cheeks grew a darker shade of red and she felt them getting hot.

Kenji: oh I have to go now, my match is next

Kairi: okay, good luck

Kenji: どうもありがとうございます (Thank you)

He stopped at the door.

Kenji: and I hope we see each other again

He playfully poked Kairi's cheek making her blush again.

Kairi: I will be watching your match

Kenji: okay, closed the door when you leave

Kairi nodded. The two separated to their paths. Kairi joined Dakota and Io at the catering area. The Genius of the Sky and the Captain of Team Kick saw the blushing the Pirate Princess.

Io: ooh, why are you all blushing, Kairi?

Dakota: it's Kenji, isn't it?

Kairi: no it's not!

Dakota: Kairi, your cheeks are red

The Pirate Princess covered them with her hands.

Io: it is Kenji

Kairi: what if it is him?

Dakota: are you two a thing now?!

Kairi: what no! 

Io: Kairi...

Kairi tried to keep a straight face, but it turned into a cute blushing smile.

Kairi: we just introduced ourselves

Dakota: continue

Kairi: he said that he watched the Mae Young Classic and he cheered me on to win

Dakota: aww, that's so sweet of him

Io: what else did he tell you?

Kairi blushed, but regained her senses.

Kairi: he said that I'm cute and pretty

Dakota and Io squealed.

Io: Kenji is not wrong

Dakota: it's true Kairi, you are cute and pretty

Kairi: Kenji is so sweet, but I want to get to know him first

Io: you will now because his match starts now

Kairi turned to the monitor while she put her hands on her cheeks as she smiled.

(In the ring)

Danny Burch was in the ring all ready for the debut of Kenji Cruz.

Then the screen showed a montage video of Japan and the Philippines showing off each country's wonders. Then a theme played.

The crowd cheered loud as they instantly recognized the theme. Then out came the Filipino Samurai, Kenji Cruz.

Announcer: his opponent, from Olongapo, Philippines; weighing in at 220 pounds, making his debut, Kenji Cruz!

The Filipino Samurai took in the atmosphere as the crowd cheered for him.

Kenji got in the ring and stared down at Burch. The referee rang the bell.

(Match starts)

Kenji and Danny locked up and the Samurai won the test of strength by putting Burch in the corner. Kenji released the hold and stepped back, but Burch provoked the Samurai with a slap to the face. The Samurai retaliated with a step up enziguri.

(Backstage)

Io and Dakota were amazed of Kenji's athleticism.

Io: he's good

Dakota: that enziguri looks painful, what do you think Kairi?

Kairi didn't hear her friend's question, she had a dreamy smile on her face while she watched Kenji in action.

Kairi's mind: oh my, he is so good in the ring

Io: Kairi!

Kairi yelped and jumped.

Kairi: girls don't do that!

Dakota: you were really watching closely, weren't you?

Kairi blushed heavily.

(In the ring, end of match)

Kenji knocked down Danny with a superkick and the Samurai picked him up and put him in a powerbomb position. He then executed his finisher, Gojira (Canadian Destroyer) on Burch.

Announcer: here is your winner, Kenji Cruz!

After the referee raised Kenji's arm, the Samurai turned to his fallen foe and he bowed to him in respect before leaving the ring.

(Backstage)

The girls applauded for Kenji's NXT in ring debut.

Dakota: Kenji moves quickly!

Io: his Gojira finisher is so effective

Kairi: and he is so handsome

Dakota: you said something, Kairi?

Kairi: nothing!

She blushed.

Then a minute later, Kenji walked in and saw the girls.

Kenji: oh hey girls

Io: that was an awesome debut, Kenji-kun

Kenji: oh, arigato Io-san

Dakota: and your Gojira finisher though, damn

Io: quick question, where did the name come from?

Kenji: oh, you know my birthday; November 3rd; it's the same date that Japan released the first Godzilla film in 1954, and in Japan it was named Gojira

Dakota: oh wow, that's cool; are you a fan of the movies?

Kenji: definitely, and you'll see soon that I have more moves named after Godzilla and the other monsters

Io: I can't wait

Then Kenji saw Kairi hiding her face as she was blushing. The Samurai took notice of this and decided to play along as he chuckled.

Kenji: Kairi, what did you think of my debut?

The Pirate Princess still had her hands over her face to hide her blush; Io and Dakota were giggling.

Kenji chuckled and he slowly removed Kairi's hands from her face, so the two were making eye contact. The Samurai lifted her head by the chin while the Pirate Princess had the cute smile on her face. Deep inside, Kenji melted at Kairi's cute smile, but on the outside he acted normal.

Kenji: Kairi?

Kairi: your match was impressive; I loved every minute of it

Kenji: that's very nice of you, Pirate Princess

He rubbed her chin with his thumb and index finger making her blush.

Kenji: sorry I have to cut our talk short because I need to wash up; I'll see you girls later

Kenji left to his locker room leaving a blushing Kairi.

Io: oh Kairi, someone likes you

Dakota: and it's a certain Samurai

Kairi: quit it guys!

Dakota: come on Kairi, the male fans can't resist your cuteness and I have a feeling that Kenji is falling for your cuteness as well

Kairi: you think so?

Io: I may have seen some sweat coming down from Kenji's forehead and I don't think it's from his match

Kairi: whatever girls, let's go

The three girls left while they shared a laugh.

(In Kenji's locker room)

Kenji just finished washing up and he already changed into his casual attire. He exited the arena and went to his car; as he walked, he saw Kairi with Io, Dakota and Candice LeRae joking around. Kenji smiled as he saw Kairi acting all cute.

The Samurai then went to his car and drove off to the hotel, thinking about the Pirate Princess' contagious cuteness.
