Chapter 8 Wayzz Checks In

     Wayzz's  POV:

Wayzz thinks it is silly that Master Fu wants him to sneak into the Agreste place. He knows Tikki is with Marinette and Plagg with Adrien.  He also knows those two do not know about the other's friend that is there to set them up.

He flies through the bars of the gate unnoticed and thinks so far, so good. He walks over to the front door, sees the letter holder, and smiles as he slides through it.

Now, he keeps a closer eye on Adrien and Marinette.

  Master Fu's POV:

Master Fu believes Wayzz was the right one for this task. It is not like he depends on anyone else much. Besides, who knows what Plagg and Tikki are up to at the moment. He sure hopes that Wayzz keeps himself hidden while he spies on the two young people.

      Adrien's  POV:

Adrien hears a crash behind him as a small vase falls off the stand in the hallway. He looks up to  see all the shattered pieces. He sighs as he sweeps it up with the broom.

"Was it special to you?" Marinette asks.

"Was what special?" Adrien asks as he shrugs his shoulders.

"Was the vase important to you?" Marinette asks.

Adrien continues to avoid the question as he sweeps. He hopes she will just forget all about it soon. Just like his father forgets about him.

         Marinette's  POV:

"Was the vase special to you?" Marinette asks.

Marinette feels bad the vase was broken due to her clumsy figure.  She knows if it was not for her knocking it over it would be just fine. She thinks perhaps coming here was  a bad idea.

"It is all my fault, you know," Marinette says.

Adrien finishes sweeping and looks at her with concern. He feels bad now that he thought more about the silly broken item than the feelings of the girl before him.

"How do you figure on that Mari? It was bound to happen someday," Adrien remarks with a gentle, non judgmental attitude.

"I was the one to bump into it, then it fell over so fast, and there was enough time to stop if from hitting the floor," Marinette tries to explain.

               Adrien's  POV:

"It was a gift my mother gave my father for their tenth anniversary present, " Adrien tells her.

"My father was not to keen on it," Adrien remarks with a smile grin.

Adrien sees her look of relief then frowns, "but he is not to keen on me either, I am afraid."

He sees Marinette shake her head as if she does not believe him.  He might as well be honest with the girl though.

               Wayzz's POV:

"Adrien, she is right, your father means what is best for you," Wayzz says.

"Look, whoever you are you obviously do not know my father very well," Adrien retorts.

"If you did you would know he hates me.  He did ditch me here to move to who knows where with his secretary," Adrien states with a scowl.

Wayzz comes out from his hiding spot to speak to them both for a moment. He knows it is risky, but so what?  It is not like neither of them has seen a talking creature before anyway.

"Now, Adrien and Marinette, I must say you two are getting alone just fine," Wayzz responds.

              Marinette's POV:

Marinette takes a look at the green boy with the bright green hair. She thinks strange he looks like TIkki did when we first met.  It is then it dawns on her this person is a kwami in disguise. She thinks nice outfit he has on today.

"Who might you be friend?" Marinette asks.

"The name is Wayzz, Marinette, and Adrien,"  Wayzz answers.

"Well, then it is a pleasure to met your acquaintance then, Wayzz," Marinette states.

Marinette continues to make small talk with Wayzz while Adrien looks on in amazement.

                Adrien's  POV:

Adrien thinks hmm, could it be Wayzz is Plagg's cousin or something. He belives those two have more in common that it seems. To him the only explanation is that they are cousins or brothers. Then, again they could be best friends.

He wonders why it is Marinette  is able to carry on a conversation with Wayzz so easily.

Adrien watches Marinette as she converses with Wayzz.  He admits it atonishes him how great those two get along.

                 Tikki's  POV:

Tikki thinks Wayzz what brings him here.  She shrugs her shoulders glad she is in her regular form again as the human disguise is always so awkward. Besides, it is easier to reman hidden this way.  She believes it to be strange that Marinette speaks to him as if he were an old friend.  There is no way she met Wayzz before today though.

She scans the area and sees that there are no other visitors expect for Wayzz. She is glad to as this makes it easier to ensure Marinette is not in any danger. She smiles about how well Adrien and Marientte get along.

This makes my job easier for one thing, and maybe it means I am not just a failure after all,  Tikki thought to herself.

                    Master Fu's  POV:

Master Fu thinks Wayzz what are you doing?  He knows he sent Wayzz in there, but it was not to make friends with them. It was to check in on the boy and girl.  He sighs as he realizes that maybe Wayzz has his flaws after all.

He smiles though as Tikki manages not to be seen by Adrien.  At least this way, he knows Tikki and Plagg are not as careless as Wayzz. Then, again there was that time Plagg chased Chole away.  Should he put this on his record as a weakness? No, it makes things go a bit better than they might have otherwise. For now, he will let it slide.

                Wayzz's  POV:

Wayzz thinks  Master Fu is going to kill me if ever finds out they saw me. He gulps a bit then smiles. He does his best to pay attention to what the blunette says, but the entire time worries about what Master Fu will think.  It is not like he meant to mess up.

"Wow, you are right that is something.  Good thing, Adrien does not give up after a bad first impression," Wayzz says with a smile.
