Chapter 20: Tuxes and Lock Downs

My fiancee

Have you seriously not picked out your tux for the wedding?

Jeon Jeongguk you better reply to me when you see this

The wedding is getting nearer each day and you are still slacking!

Jeongguk ran his fingers through his hair as he closed his eyes. The wedding. A day that everyone thinks of at least once in their life. A day where everyone changes as they let go of their previous life and open a new chapter. A day Jeongguk was scared of.

He wanted to marry her. He had proposed to her, but the idea of making it official frightened him. She would know everything about him and there would be nowhere to hide. His mask would fall sometimes and she would realize how messed up he was. She was already busy. Her life as a top designer in the country kept her as occupied as him which made it impossible to spend time, but Jeomgguk didn't mind. The less she knew the better he felt.

She didn't need to suffer with him as he could handle it alone. All these years, he had his hyungs with him and they were enough. He didn't need more people.

I'll go today

Now, to find someone who will go with me after the dance lesson, Jeongguk thought as he headed out.

"Hey," Jeongguk said as he strolled into the room. "What are you doing?"

"Hi," Cecilia replied with a small smile. "Concept photos."

"Ours?" Jeongguk asked as he sat next to her.

"Yeah," she replied sheepishly.

As soon as Jeongguk heard that, a huge smile appeared on his face as he got thrilled to find out what she thought.

"What do you think?" Jeongguk asked cheerfully.

"I love them!" she exclaimed happily. "All of you look amazing and look Taehyung hair and Jimin hair and oooo Jin hair is love and Namjoon is just so pretty and just look at Hoseok almost forgot look at Yoongi and cute smile."

"Does she hate me?" Jeongguk thought out loud and Cecilia's eyes widened when she heard him say that. If only he knew, how wrong he truly was because the girl's heart beated for him and her whole mind was occupied with him. She was trapped under the sweet spell he had cast once and though the spell was supposed to wear off, hers didn't.

"Jeongguk you look breathtaking," she told him honestly as she stared into his doe brown eyes that held tiny sparkles and Cecilia wished she was exaggerating, but those eyes actually reflected off the galaxy.

He had no words to describe this moment before him except one thing he said once on v live. No, he wasn't going to go there, but his mind had already whispered without his consent.

I would here bells when I meet my soulmate

SHUT UP! Jeongguk yelled to his brain. There were no bells and there never would be.

"Kook?" Cecilia asked then she realized she used a nickname instead of his real name and she hoped he wouldn't notice. "Jeongguk Practice?"

This wasn't good. He felt lost and confused. Puzzle pieces scattering on the ground because he had given trying to understand what it was.

"Kook?" Jeongguk repeated.

"I said Jeongguk," Cecilia replied as she stared at the ground.

"We are friends so you can call me whatever you want," Jeongguk stated with a warm smile.

Cecilia nodded as they worked on their routine.

Is there something wrong? He looks so worried, Cecilia thought as Jeongguk barely looked at her and even when she stopped using Korean, he didn't care.

"We are done," Cecilia lied, but not really as they couldn't continue like this until the person teaching her would pay attention. "What you are thinking?"

"I need to go," Jeongguk said as he grabbed his things and checked to see if anyone was available. Sadly, all the members were busy.

"Can you come with me?" Jeongguk asked as he turned around to face her. "I need to pick out my tux and I want to surprise Yun Hee."

"Yeah," she said quietly. The moment she thought she didn't care, her heart decided it did. It felt like someone kept digging the knife deeper into her heart, making sure the wound wouldn't heal and she had to admit they were doing a fine job making sure she felt the pain with each word. Thankfully, no tears streamed down her face, but it was because she had quickly wiped her eyes as soon as Jeongguk turned around.

Never thought I would be helping the love of my life choose his wedding tux for a wedding that didn't include me, Cecilia scoffed at herself as she waited for Jeongguk. Her feelings made her angry and feel pathetic. She was doing so well and then her heart decided to be dramatic all over again.

Jeongguk is not yours and never will so suck it up, she scolded herself and she would have continued if Jeongguk hadn't appeared taking away all her thoughts and leaving her blank and empty.

It wasn't much except a simple black and white suit, but the suit defined each part of him from his muscular arms to his tiny waste and the fact that he radiated confidence would make any girl go weak on her knees. The funny part was that he had done nothing to his messy hair yet those locks that fell on his face drove her crazy.

"It's bad right?" Jeongguk asked as she had been quiet ever since he had entered.

"No!" she exclaimed by accident. "I mean you look amazing."

Jeongguk turned around and looked at himself up and down.

"I know like Jeon Jungkook," Jeongguk said with a smile, reminding Cecilia that this wedding was no ordinary wedding, but of a person who was used to dressing up nicely.

She stood up and walked until she was right beside him.

"That won't do," Cecilia replied as she shook her head in dismay. "The whole point of wedding is for you look like yourself, not your stage self."

"That is me," Jeongguk argued, not understanding her point. "Not before, but now they are the same."

"No, don't lie to yourself," Cecilia told him as she stood in front him, causing him to look down so he could look at her properly. "I can't fix you because fixing is your choice but I can give advice and warn so you don't regret and I mean it if you don't feel happy in it then it not it. Wedding day is special and you are celebrity so it will be hard but let's do it."

Jeongguk smiled gratefully at her. He was glad she tagged along and was here with her.

He tried a couple of more outfits and Cecilia advised him for each one, always reminding him to make sure he is happy and can see himself in it.

"This one," Jeongguk said with agrin.

"I think this is it," Cecilia replied as she clapped happily. This was the tux Jeongguk was smiling the brightest and she could see that this was not Jeon Jungkook they all knew, but just Jeongguk.

"Just ask her Taehyung," Taehyung spoke to himself as he waited for Eira. "she won't bite."

"Hi," Eira said as she entered the room causing Taehyung to scramble up.

"Hey," Taehyung said wanting to continue, but he couldn't bring himself to say anything and they started their lesson.

All Taehyung did was stare at her from time to time during their entire practice and either he was lucky she hadn't noticed or she had and didn't say anything.

During the break, Eira decided to text Cecilia as she still didn't know how to talk to him. It had been a while since they started these lessons yet she couldn't talk to him without blushing or falling.

Where are you? ~Eira

I'm on my way back from Tux shopping~Cecilia

What????~Eira

I helped Jeongguk pick out his tux. ~Cecelia

Are you okay? You want to meet?~Eira

I'm fine. I promise. Btw, did Taehyung talk to you? ~Cecelia

Yeah why wouldn't we talk?~Eira

Nevermind. How much time do you have left?~Cecelia

half an hour.~Eira

I'll pick you up.~Cecelia

okay.~Eira

Eira glanced at Taehyung who was staring at her again and she had to admit she felt intimidated. His round eyes concentrated on her and all she could think was: this is way too hot for me.

Were there any holes in her clothes? she pondered.

******

"How long will take to reach back?" Cecilia asked Jeongguk impatiently.

"Ten minutes, why?" Jeongguk questioned curiously.

"You will see," Cecilia smiled playfully and it seemed like she had some scheme up her sleeve to which Jeongguk was glad to be on the other side as even though she might be small in size, he didn't want to underestimate her.

Not giving Jeongguk enough time to explain, Cecilia ran inside making the boy run to catch up with her. Whiling running, Cecilia found Jimin and decided to drag him along.

"Are you always like this?"Jimin asked trying to understand where he was. It reminded him of the first time they met.

"Sorry," Cecilia replied sheepishly. "I promise I'm not."

"You run fast for a tiny girl," Jeongguk told her.

"I'm not tiny, you are tall," she huffed. "Anyway, do you have keys to this room?"

"Yeah, is it locked?" Jimin asked and he was about to open it, but Cecilia held it back.

"Just get the keys and come quick," Cecilia asked as she pouted to which Jimin sighed and went mumbling away.

Jeongguk raised his eyebrows ad he waited for an explanation.

"You like pranks, right?" Cecilia asked pretty sure of his answer.

Jeongguk nodded.

"Then, you enjoy this," Cecilia smiled evilly and Jeongguk wished best of luck for whoever was behind that door.

After five minutes, Jimin returned with the keys and Cecilia thanked him.

"Stay here and watch," Cecilia told them as she entered the room.

"Hey," Cecilia told them both.

"We are almost done," Taehyung told her.

"That's fine, take time as you need," Cecilia assured him. "Ah, did you ask her?"

Taehyung's eyes widened and Cecilia smiled as she found it so cute how freaked out Taehyung was. He clearly liked her or at least felt some attraction towards Eira.

"Ask me what?" Eira asked eyeing her suspiciously.

"That's between me and Taehyung," Cecilia replied, winking at Taehyung to which Taehyung looked away.

"I'll wait out," Cecilia replied as she waved at them.

Taehyung and Eira looked at each other and then all of sudden they heard a 'click'.

"No!" they yelled simultaneously as they hit the door.

"Cecelia, I'm going to kill you!" Eira yelled and Cecilia just smiled outside the door. "I didn't know you were serious about what you said."

"Thank me later," Cecelia told them as she motioned for the guys to follow her.

"They are so mad," Jimin stated worried about the consequences.

"The key is inside," Cecilia shrugged.

"What?!" Jimin asked as he stopped in his tracks.

"They are not locked but they think so," Cecilia smirked.

"You are a genius," Jeongguk chuckled in admiration.

Cecelia just grinned.

**************

"I'm sorry my friend is not like this always," Eira stated apologetically. "You must be busy."

"It's okay, I don't have anything after this," Taehyung replied with a smile.

Silence. The whole room engulfed in silence as they both didn't know how to interact with each other. Eira could feel her heart beating faster as she felt Taehyung's presence, a sense of warmth spread. She couldn't do it. It was getting hard to focus, so she got up and walked away from Taehyung, not realizing she was solidifying his thoughts.

Taehyung watched Eira move away and he sighed.

She really doesn't like me huh, he pondered as he watched her pace around. He wanted to give her the world, but it seemed like he should forget about that.

"I'm sure she will let us out soon," Taehyung said.

"She better," Eira grumbled as she felt her blood boil just thinking about what her friend had just done.

"Do you want tell me something?" Eira asked remembering how Cecilia kept hinting that Taehyung wanted to talk. She wasn't sure where all the confidence was coming from, but her guesses were that she was too mad to think about being shy.

"Nothing," Taehyung lied, not wanting to talk about it.

"Okay," Eira replied, not wanting to push him. If he wanted to, he would have told her.

It had been fifteen minutes, but it felt like it had been hours as she glanced at Taehyung who seemed to be lost in thought. No way she was going to listen to her friend and confess to him. There was just too much to risk, but why did he have to make it so hard for her?

His beautiful dark eyes, messy curly jet black hair falling on his eyes, inviting lips, toned body that teased her endlessly with those baggy clothes that would fly whenever he moved too much and to top it off his sweet personality and that deep husky voice that sent shivers down her spine. Taehyung was a whole package and every girl's dream including hers.

Eira decided to talk to him as she felt like she would go crazy worrying about how they would get out as Cecilia had taken both their phones with her. Eira still wasn't sure how Cecilia did it, but she had to admit she was good.

Taehyung was pretty surprised when Eira came back and sat beside him. A small smile formed on his lips and he didn't say anything, afraid that one wrong move would scare her away.

"Taehyung," Eira spoke not knowing what she was really planning to say.

"Yeah," Taehyung replied, looking at her.

"Thanks," Eira said genuinely. "I know you busy but you still deal with me. Thank you."

"I love helping you and I always have fun other than when you run away," Taehyung said.

Suddenly, he realized what he had said and he felt guilty for bringing it up.

"Sorry," Eira replied as she realized she had been offending him the entire time, but why did it matter? Eira couldn't find any reason why Taehyung would want to spend time with her.

"You have to make it up to me," Taehyung said gaining some confidence as he moved closer to her.

I think I'm having a heart attack! Kim Taehyung you better stay where you are before you kill me! she panicked in her head as Taehyung was right in front of her face.

"How?" Eira dared to ask, knowing well it wouldn't end well.

Taehyung leaned into her ear, sending shivers down her spine and she felt frozen in place, completely vulnerable as he spoke huskily:

"Ice cream?"
