The day after receiving his uniform, Izuku stood in front of the gates of U.A. He came well before the reporting time, hoping that he would not be noticed by other students.

As he looked at the towering gates of U.A, he could not help but have some mixed feelings. This school was his dream school, the one he originally had no chance to enter. Yet, here he was...

He heaved a sigh and started his run to class. It could not be helped, the campus of U.A was too big. If he were to walk there, other students would have already started arriving.

When he finally reached his class, he opened the door to see Nezu sitting on the teacher's desk.

"Your desire to study is admirable. While others are still asleep, you already arrived in class!"

Izuku sat down at his designated seat at the front of the class and replied...

"I had nothing else to do. If I didn't come early, I would have gone for my morning run instead."

Nezu admired hardworking people, especially the one in front of him. He knows what happened to this young man, and he understood how strong the mental blow was when his only known family member passed on. He felt the desire to teach this young man, yet he knew... there was nothing he could teach this boy.

He gave a small laugh before saying, "since you did not come here through the normal examination, there will be students who will doubt you. That is why I shall give you my special recommendation, so long as you have it, no one will doubt you." He took the letter from his pocket before walking up to his desk and handing it over.

Izuku took it as it would reduce the amount of trouble he will face should he have some classmates who prioritise discipline. Nezu also said, "your teachers have already been informed about this as well."

Hearing this, Izuku felt curious, who were the ones going to be teaching him? He did not try to suppress this thought and voiced it out.

Nezu, knowing full well the means this boy has and the knowledge he possessed, found no reason to hide this information.

'Your homeroom teacher will be Eraserhead...'

Upon hearing this, Izuku's heart started thumping loudly. He could not believe he was so lucky as to be in the class of his papa. Though he was not in his girl form, the feelings they had towards Shota was the same.

Nezu continued, 'your English teacher will be Present Mic. Your Literature teacher should be Cementoss. Your Arts teacher will be Midnight... and Ectoplasm will be teaching Math!'

Though Izuku was briefly confused at the lineup of Teachers, he quickly accepted it. That was when Nezu continued, "no one in your class has been informed yet, so I hope you don't reveal this too. Your teacher for foundational hero studies... will be All Might!"

Hearing this name, Izuku felt as if a bucket of cold water was dumped on his head. He still did not know how he should treat this new father. Should he hate him? Should he love him? He did not know.

That was when Nezu took his leave, as the principal of U.A, he still had much paperwork to go through. That information once again put Izuku in a trance, and he did what he previously did, he placed his head on the table and slept.

As he does so, he subconsciously used a bit of his despair quirk to wrap around his body, completely protecting him against damage from quirks. Although U.A was prestigious, he still could not bear the feeling of being protected by others. Papa was the only exception.

So he slept again until students started flocking in. The first few that came in did not disturb his sleep. One of them included Tenya Ilda, as he noticed this boy came even earlier than he did, showing how much he respected this school, he gave a nod of approval and gave himself the reason that Izuku was just priming himself for studies later. As more and more students came in, the classroom became rowdier and rowdier. Yet, Izuku slept through it all.

That was the moment the last student came in, Katsuki Bakugo. The moment he came in, he saw his once childhood friend appear again. He was so shocked, but he did not scream at his friend. Ever since what happened with auntie, his temper has been slowly reduced. Instead, he trained hard to inherit his idol's, All Might, quirk. In fact, he could not wait to show off to his friend. He knew how much Deku loved All Might and knew that the moment he used this quirk, Deku would know the origin.

He deeply regretted the times he bullied his friend and hoped to redeem himself. Yet, he did not know that the Deku he once knew had already disappeared. The one replacing him was a stranger who held a grudge against both him and All Might.

That was when he felt something behind him. Bakugo looked back to see a yellow caterpillar on the floor. He looked closely to see that this caterpillar had a human face. He searched through his mind to find a matching face and, lo and behold, he had no idea who he was.

But what he could tell was that this man was his teacher, so he went into the class to take a seat.

When he sat down, the caterpillar man had already shed his skin and was standing behind the teacher's desk. He started introducing himself, "I will be your homeroom teacher for this year. You can call me Aizawa-Sensei."

Hearing this introduction, Bakugo finally realised who this man was. He was Eraserhead, a pro underground hero. He could not help but marvel at how U.A was able to get someone that famous to work here.

When his introduction was over, Izuku woke up and looked at his partner. Eraserhead felt a familiar stare and looked in that direction to see a green-haired boy. Though he did not remember when he had seen this boy, he had a feeling that he knew him.

He tried hard to recall, but could not find any matching faces, which was when he gave up and continued with his itinerary.

"Today, you will be taking the quirk apprehension test. You have 10 minutes to change, come back here when you are finished."

With that, he took out some P.E uniforms from his sleeping bag and threw them to the students it belonged to. He then went into the bag for another nap.

Izuku never knew that his partner was so sleep deprived. Since he did not want to trouble his partner, now teacher, too much, he ran to the nearest boys toilet and changed in under a minute. He was the first person to return to class, where he spent the rest of the time staring at his teacher. During which, Shota felt as if his partner was looking directly at him. Yet, that was not possible as he could not find a single student that remotely resembles her. He completely ignored this feeling and continued his nap.

When everyone finally arrived a second before the 10 minutes ended, their teacher got out of his sleeping bag and brought them to the P.E fields.

He looked around to find someone he could use as an example and decided that the boy who kept giving him a familiar stare would do. He asked the boy, "what is your quirk?"

Izuku hesitated, before saying, "it is a body enhancement quirk, p- sir."

Shota was surprised, but he hid it well. Yet, it could not escape his former partner's discerning eyes. When asked what was his previous record in middle school, he replied with sixty metres.

"Now, I want you to use your quirk and shoot the ball."

Izuku picked up the ball, not bothering to use his actual quirk as only the physical fitness that improved with his quirk was useful for this test. He shot with his full strength, achieving a new record of two thousand six hundred metres. This made the eyes of everyone pop out as this record was too terrifying. As Izuku revealed his quirk was a body enhancement quirk, they assumed he was only able to get up to five hundred metres, yet his actual result was more than twofold their predictions. This placed pressure on these prideful students of U.A.

As Eraserhead looked around, he was relieved that he did not need to use the trick he prepared to motivate them. He turned back to look at the boy with a curious stare as he had used his erasure quirk on the boy when he shot the ball. Yet, it had zero effect. That was when he came to a frightening conclusion, this was his original fitness...

Though he had no idea why he felt the need to erase his quirk, the conclusion derived from this small action lead him to pay more attention to this boy. This was followed by more students until it reached Bakugo.

As of right now, Ochaco was ranked the first with a score of infinity, while Izuku was right behind. It was at this moment that All Might arrived at the field. The students were shocked to see him, while Izuku once more fell into a trance. His feelings were in turmoil, meeting this hated man once again.

All Might only focused on his successor, while completely ignoring the rest. Bakugo felt the pressure as he used both his original quirk and the quirk he inherited, Explosion and One For All. He controlled the power to around 20% before shooting the ball as far as he could. Yet, even with such a combination, the ball only managed to barely surpass the two thousand mark, not even close to Izuku's score.

All Might was satisfied with his successor's efforts. If he continued to train more, he would undoubtedly be able to draw more power from his quirk. That was when he stopped focusing only on his successor, instead, he looked at his future class. As he continued looking, he felt more and more satisfaction, until he reached a certain green-haired boy.

The moment All Might saw him, he froze. A huge wave of guilt and disbelief appeared within his heart. He still remembered the kid whom he destroyed their dreams. Up till this day, he could not help but think back, wondering if he had been too harsh on the kid. He felt the need to make up for it, but he did not know how. All those teaching books he had never gave a solution but highlighted that it would be difficult to beg for forgiveness.

Though he felt guilty, he turned away, trying to ignore the mistake he made.

With that, the test continued. Unsurprisingly, with his unbelievable fitness, Izuku always ranked within the top 3. All Might was flabbergasted at the result achieved by this boy. He could not believe it, as one year ago, this boy had revealed that he was quirkless. These thoughts did not bother Izuku and he continued dominating the tests. As his classmates witnessed more and more how strong he was, their respect for him grew and grew. Even Todoroki, Endeavour's son, was impressed, though his cold face did not show it.

When the test finished, all the students were dismissed. Izuku noted that his 'friend' had made some new friends, Tenya Ilda and Ochako Uraraka. He looked away and started his run home.

When he finally arrived, he fed mr.whiskers and went for a shower. Since he had not been doing his laundry, all he had was some pants. He went to bed shirtless that night while hugging the cat.

The next day
Like yesterday, Izuku arrived first. He took out some of the textbooks and proceeded to read them. One glance was all it took to comprehend new concepts, two glances on the, particularly harder ones. He continued devouring these textbooks until students finally started arriving. By then, he had already finished reading all the textbooks he brought.

The first lesson was English, where everyone was bored out of their minds. Only Izuku found the way lesson was interesting and took down some notes. He only snickered a bit when Present Mic accidentally said, "eleventeen". He quickly suppressed it and acted as normal.

For the rest of the lessons, Izuku learnt many applications of the concepts he just learnt. For the last period, it would be the lesson Izuku completely detested, the one All Might would be teaching.

When All Might opened the door and shouted, everyone in class started cheering, except for Todoroki, Bakugo and Izuku. This was the only lesson where they would not need to learn all those boring theories. All Might brought them to Ground B, where their hero costumes were already there.

Everyone marvelled at each other's cool looking costumes. Yet, when Izuku appeared, everyone was confused. He was wearing a kimono for males and wooden sandals as well. If Eraserhead was here, he would have noticed how uncannily similar this costume is to his partner's.

All Might completely ignore him and proceeded with announcing the news. The students will all be split up into twelve groups, six of them will be villains while the other six were heroes.

All Might made them draw lots, where Izuku got Todoroki as his partner. The team they were going to face would be Ilda and Jiro, the girl with an earphone quirk. Izuku was relieved that he would not need to confront his 'friend' this time.

Izuku and Todoroki will be the heroes while Ilda and Jiro will be the villains defending the bomb. They were even the first group to be tested as well.

While Ilda and Jiro had a strategic meeting, Izuku and Todoroki had no conversations whatsoever. Todoroki, because he was excited to be with this mysterious classmate, while Izuku because he had nothing to say.

When the match started, Izuku revealed a bit of his actual quirk, not knowing that what he was doing was being monitored by his classmates. He covered himself with his quirk, before slowly walking towards where he assumed the bomb was. His footsteps made no sound, making it difficult for Jiro to pinpoint his whereabouts. Todoroki noticed what he was doing and ran in a different direction, attempting to fool Jiro, which succeeded. She quickly informed Ilda and had him go confront Todoroki.

When his teammate was gone, Izuku started running fast towards the location of the bomb, while still ensuring no sound was made. The classmates spectating were astonished to find that Izuku was going straight for the bomb as if he already knew it was there. Bakugo, however, was not surprised, knowing full well how intelligent his friend was.

When he finally arrived, Jiro still did not notice anything wrong. He knocked her out and touched the bomb, bringing his team victory. At this time, Ilda still had not even reached Todoroki yet.

When he went out, he was guided to the monitoring room, where he realised that they were being monitored. He could not help but blame himself for his carelessness. Of course, U.A would put in place measures to look over them. Thank goodness his quirk was not easily visible by the people monitoring him.

He reminded himself to be more careful, before starting his analysis of his classmates. He was satisfied with everyone's performance, except Mineta, the pervert of the class. In fact, he wondered how this pervert even managed to pass the examination.

That was when the last group arrived. It was Bakugo and Ochaco as the heroes, while Tsuyu and Mina as the villains. At this point, Izuku asked to go to the toilet. He stayed there for at least an hour before coming back to the room just as All Might finished his evaluation of the MVP. However, he did not care who was the best as this was nothing but a simulation. In regards to sneaking around, Izuku's method would have been the best choice for solo missions.

When they were finally released, Izuku started his run back home. When Bakugo tried to find him, he was already too late. He really wanted to make up with his friend, yet if he could not meet him at all, how was he going to ask for forgiveness?

With that, he gave up on catching up and started his journey home. Ever since the day auntie passed on, he had never once seen his friend back in middle school. The teachers were all worried, yet they never bothered to contact him. That was when Bakugo realised there was a problem. It seemed that his friend had never made any new relationships with anyone in school. He tried to find the reason why and realised that he was the problem. He was the greatest star in this school, everyone looked up to him. When he bullied Izuku, others thought he hated Izuku and ousted him.

That was when he reflected. What happened to him? The answer was obvious. It was all because of his pride. Just because of that one incident where Izuku tried to help him, he hated the nerd for so long.

He finally realised what he did wrong... he wanted to apologise, he wanted to return to the past. Yet, those were all wishful thinking, for Izuku never once appeared again.

It was a month after his disappearance that Bakugo met his friend's idol, All Might. All Might asked if he wanted to inherit his quirk, and he accepted, thinking that if he became the new Symbol Of Peace, he could apologise to his friend.

He spent the next few months where he trained and trained, his body becoming stronger by the day. Three months before the U.A examination, All Might finally passed on the torch, letting Bakugo inherit his quirk. From then, he started learning to control his quirk. The first month was hell as he broke his arm so many times until he became a regular at Recovery Girl's office. When he finally got the hang of it, the next few months was training his body to bear more load, until he finally got his body to accommodate 20% of the power.

Tomorrow should be the day when the class representative is chosen. Hopefully, he will be the one who takes on this role.

As for our protagonist, he really changed so much, huh? Two days and not a single friend made.

The next chapter should include the U.S.J incident, where I have completely changed the plot. The kitsune shall return once again! After that should be the sports festival... I'll try my best to write the next chapter either today or during the weekends, my school has been giving me more work recently...
