Ponyboy's POV:
"You almost ready to go babe?" I asked my girlfriend Emily through the crack of the bathroom door. "Yeah, I just have to put on my shoes." she said as she opened the bathroom door. My eyes widened. "Wow! You look beautiful Emily!" I smiled. She looked amazing in a knee length red dress and black boots. Her golden blonde hair was put up in a half ponytail and her bangs covered her right eye. On her eyelids, was a pale pink eyeshadow, complimenting her dress perfectly. "You don't look too bad yourself!" she joked. She grabbed her shoes then followed me down the stairs. Tonight we were going on a double date with two of our best friends Dariann and Two-Bit. About fifteen minutes later we showed up at the restaurant where we were meeting them to eat before we went to the movies. Since we've gotten to the restaurant I've noticed that Two-Bit had been trying out new moves on Dariann. Of course she didn't notice, he was smooth enough, but I did. Funny thing is is that they were actually working, so I thought I'd try some out myself. I put my hand on Emily's knee and rubbed small circles on it. She shot me look and whispered, "Stop it! We can do this later." I smiled, "Sorry babe." I whispered before kissing her temple. She really did look beautiful tonight, but then again, she always looks beautiful. It was just something about the way her eyes sparkled when she'd smile and how the color in her dress really brought out her eyes. After we ate dinner, we walked over to the movies across the street. Emily sat between Dariann and I and Two-Bit was on the other side of Dariann. About halfway through the movie I decided to try another move. This was a classic, one that I bet my Dad used on my Mom way back when. It was the fake yawn/scratch neck move. I looked over at her and she was completely zoned in on the movie. I waited a few more minutes until I "scratched" the back of my neck then as I went to put my arm down I put it around her shoulder. She looked over at me then smiled and scootched in closer to my side. I looked down at her and smiled back before focusing back on the movie. I'm surprised she liked my cheesy move. After the movie was over we all said goodbye and went our seperate ways. Emily and I went back to our small house and we watched TV. She cuddled into my chest, and laid with me on the couch until she eventually fell asleep in my arms with our arms and legs intertwined. My lips were placed on top of hers, where I kissed her forehead and let her sleep.
