Danny playfully pushed me and I pushed him back. As we walk back to my mom's room, that's when I saw it. More like her.

It was a woman with the exact same hair color as me, same ears, and nose. It was like I was looking in a mirror.

I had to stop walking just to get a better look.

Danny kept walking though not realizing that I had stopped. She was in a hospital room just like mom's and she was holding an older gentleman's hand.

They were crying and the site made me want to cry with them.

I couldn't help but feel like I knew her from somewhere. Like I've seen her somewhere but I couldn't put my finger on it.

"Hello, earth to Mara. Are you even listening?" Danny waved his hand in front of my face and I blinked several times before I could break away my gaze.

"Huh? Oh sorry I was um," looking for an excuse, " I thought I saw someone I knew but I didn't." That couldn't have been a lie because I was telling the truth. Sort of.

Danny grabbed me by my shoulders, "Lets keep walking."

He gently pulls me away from the door and we start walking again. I couldn't help but take one last look at them before we walked on.
