It was nice for Delilah to sleep in without her mother banging on her door to help Harry with breakfast. She hasn't been home for a couple months, but there is still some good sides of not being home, that being one of them. She doesn't have to wake up when everyone else does, and or make herself breakfast. She's been sharing Ginny's room, since they are the only other girls in the house, which is fine, because Ginny is like a little sister to Delilah.

The two girls had been up for a while but they didn't feel the need of going downstairs, so they just stayed up in Ginny's room, talking about their home lives, which was fine. Then the next thing they heard was a loud boom going off.

"Well, the twins are up." Ginny mutters, as there was footsteps from Molly and Author's room, as the two girls fist bumped knowing the twins are going to get into trouble. They seem to really enjoy it watching them getting into trouble. It is like a drama tv show.

"What have I told you, do not set anything off before noon!" Molly yells at the twins, which made Delilah jump, as Ginny looked at the girl.

"You get used to it after a while." Ginny says to Delilah, as said girl yawns

"I wouldn't get used to it. That would be my alarm clock, just one problem, it doesn't have a snooze button." Delilah adds which made Ginny nod her head, before an idea pops in her head.

"Have you played Quidditch before?" Ginny asked as Delilah looks at her confused.

"No, what is it?"

"Right, sorry, I forgot." Ginny says to Delilah as the two get dressed, and they have a banana, as Molly is starting to get breakfast going.

"I'm going to teach Delilah how to play Quidditch mom." Ginny says as right after that she grabbed Delilah's arm, and practically dragging Delilah, without giving her mother a second to respond.

They got outside and they both ran towards the barn which has the Quidditch stuff. Well a different version, but close enough to the real thing.

Delilah watched Ginny playing Quidditch as she was telling Delilah how to play it. That was until Delilah heard a door close and she turned around saw the twins. She felt a smile appear on her face at seeing them.

"Girls." George says as he has his broom in his hand along with his brother, Fred.

"Hey." Delilah says to the twins. Not even ten minutes later, Delilah never knew how competitive the Weasley's were.

Before Delilah knew it she was on the train back to Hogwarts, to head back to school. She didn't want to leave the Weasley house, she finally felt...loved. Molly was the mother that Delilah wanted for eleven years of her life.

"Do you have everything?" Molly asked more times that Delilah could know.

"Yes, Mom we have everything." Percy the oldest boy that's living at the Burrow.

"Are you sure?" Molly asked again which made Percy sigh, at his mother.

"Yes." He says as Molly urshured her kids through the wall.

When Percy, Fred and George went through the wall, it was just Delilah and Molly. She gave the girl a big hug which made Delilah not want to leave the older woman.

"If you need anything, anything at all. I am one letter away." Molly says as Delilah nods her head as she gave the girl another hug.

....

When Delilah got on the train every compartment was full, eveb the compartment with the twins. She walked into the only open compartment, before she sat down. One of tbe boys' names was Cedric Diggory whom Delilah had seen in the hallway. Cedric is a Hufflepuff, as Delilah wouldn't admit it as she she wouldn'y hear the end of it.

"You're Delilah, right? The Dursley girl?" Said Cedric which made Delilah look at him as she nodded her head at him.

"Yeah, that's me. You're Cedric right?" She asked as her and Cedric hadn't really had a conversation before. They don't have any classes together besides Charms.

"The one and only." He joked which made Delilah smile. "So, what did you do over break?"

"Went to a friends house." She says as he nods his head.

"Sounds fun." He says to her.

"How about you? What did you do?" She asked him as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Not much, my Dad was mostly at work, so I basically hung around the house." He says as she nods her head at him.

The two talked for a couple more hours as the next thing that they knew was that they got to the school. They got onto the boats, to head to the school. Delilah was happy that her and Cedric had an actual conversation for once.

Before, they hadn't talked at all, mainly because of how shy Delilah was. When they got in the school, the students headed to the Great Hall for dinner. At least those that wanted to.

Delilah talked with Delphina and Hayley at the Slytherin table, as Hayley introduced the Dursley girl to the nice Slytherins. As there are actually some nice Slytherins in the house. Delilah wasn't the only Muggle Slytherin, there was at least five Muggle Slytherins, so at least Delilah wasn't the only one, that's a muggle. She wouldn't have to feel like the odd one out.

the next morning

Delilah was in the library reading a book that was oddly interesting. It was about Rare Magical Creatures. It was oddly interesting if she says so herself. She saw someone sitting next to her as she didn't really care who it was. As some of the nice Slytherins are becoming her friends. She's friends with the nice kids.

"Hey." She heard someone say as she turned and it was Cedric Diggory. Delilah had her cat resting in a small box which she converted into a cat bed. Then again Whiskey is still a kitten.

"Hey." He says to her which made her smile, she closed her book that she was reading. His eye gaze went into Whiskey's direction. "You have a cat, that's cool."

Delilah turned her head to Cedric as he was petting Whiskey (Delilah's kitten). "Her name is Whiskey." Delilah says to Cedric.

"I love that name." He says to her which made her smile.

"Thanks." She replies.

"I was thinking if you want to get some Butterbeers, in Hogsmeade?" He asked her with a small smile.

Delilah looked up at him with a smile on her face. "Oh sure. Yeah we can do that." She says.

"Okay, I will see you after dinner." He says with a smile which made her to start blushing on the cheeks.

After he walked away Delilah couldn't help but sigh happily as she was going on her first date with a boy. Shd couldn't wait to tell Harry of her happy news. She was beyond joy. But thd one thing that is keeping her from telling her cousin, is what if her parent's read her letters and not harry? That is the last thing that she wants.

She could try invisible ink, but she doesn't know how to do that yet.

She will admit that she actually likes him.

But does he like her back?
