Suddenly she turned to face Elijah, when she noticed Klaus had appeared beside him. Niklaus looked distraught; he knew exactly how Elijah felt when Scarlet told Freya that she was going to die.

At that moment Scarlet turned to face Hayley one more time before she leapt in front of the witch. Soon she began to feel her heart being removed from her chest. "Hayley, you need to get up, ple-" Scarlet was cut off by the witch slicing the backs of her ankles causing her to lose a tremendous amount of blood.

Scarlet screamed in agony and Elijah dropped to his knees. Hayley gasped as the witch began to rip the her heart from her chest again after he left Scarlet to bleed. He began to step towards Hayley, stepping over the bleeding body of the still conscious Scarlet. But Scarlet was strong, she pick herself off the floor slowly biting her lip so she wouldn't scream in pain. She turn to face Nik ,as she move her head along she saw Elijah had fallen to his knees and was cupping his face in his hands. She nodded in Klaus' direction and turned to face Hayley once again before she snapped the neck of the witch.

Elijah rushed to Scarlet's side followed by Klaus running towards Hayley, who was still screaming. It made no sense, the witch trying to remove her heart was dead. Why was she still in pain. Scarlet leapt to her side as her heart began to slow. "Don't die on me now!" Scarlet said, but Hayley turned to face Scarlet "Scarlet,I need you to promise me something before I g-" she was cut off by Klaus "No don't say that, Love". Hayley shock her head "Hope is still here and I need you to get her and all the children out of here, please" she stop to take a deep breath. "I need you to be there for her, I need you to be a mother to Hope, Thank you for saving my life that day in the church. Now look after them, if only I had remembered you sooner, you could have helped me when finding cures for that lot. I love you Klaus, Goodbye Scarlet." Scarlet and Hayley both burst into tears as Scarlet said "Goodbye Andrea" and with that Hayley laid back on to the ground and closed her eyes. She was gone. Her body temperature fell and she became ice cold as Scarlet removed her hand from Hayley's chest and turned to fall upon Elijah's chest as he hugged her in fear and nodded to Klaus.

Although Klaus was depressed by Hayley's death, he spoke lightly "Find my daughter, Scarlet, Elijah" with that he pick Hayley off the ground and carried her bridal style to the front of the house, where Freya and Rebekah were waiting along with Kol. Their faces dropped as Klaus came closer, they saw the dead body of Hayley coming closer in Klaus' arms.

Elijah and Scarlet made their way through the old building leading many young children to the front of the house so they would be safe, but they had yet to find the fire that was causing to immense heat, that lead to the sweat falling from their faces. Scarlet pulled Elijah in for a passionate kiss and as they pulled away she said "Find those kids and don't come back for me until you know that everyone of them is out of harms way" Elijah opened his mouth to speak but Scarlet pulled him in for what seemed to him as a Goodbye kiss.
"Go"

Elijah did what he was told and would not return to Scarlet until he knew full well that all the children were out, meaning he did not return to Scarlet at all. Though Scarlet had made her way to the very top floor of the unstable building and searched top to bottom for Hope. Then had suddenly seen a room untouched by fire, unlike the rest of the rooms that were still burning and falling apart.

Scarlet made her way to the doorway of the room a saw Hope laying unconscious on the floor. "Hope nooo!" She screamed running to Hope's unconscious body. At that moment she was hit in the back of the head with a chair and fell to the floor. The room fell into darkness and Scarlet was unconscious again.

Elijah was worried, Scarlet hadn't returned to the rest of his siblings and the fire was growing out of control. But Elijah was a man of his word, there was still over 20 children unaccounted for. He had to find them before he could even start looking for his lost love.

Scarlet awoke to find the room was no longer untouched by fire but also to find Hope conscious and praying for Scarlet to wake. She was only a child and had no idea that her mother was dead. "Hope we need to get you out of here" Hope nodded in reply. The two exited the room slowly so they weren't burnt. But as they made their way down the staircase they could see the fire had completely trapped them in the house but before they could move Hope fell through the staircase. But Scarlet had brilliant reflexes and managed to catch Hope before she fell out of reach. With that she lifted Hope into her arms and kept her close to her chest as she made her decent down the rest of the staircase.

Scarlet poured a soot covered bottle of water over a torch rag and placed it over Hope's head so it would become easier for her to breath. Scarlet kicked down the splintering front entrance, stumbling towards the cars of the Mikaelsons. But stopped halfway due to lack of breath and placed Hope on the ground. Hope ran to Klaus, who picked her up and threw a smile of gratitude towards Scarlet. Scarlet smiled for a mere second before falling to the ground as the house blew up behind her. Leaving nothing but rubble in it's place.

With the world on her side Scarlet was just far enough away from the building to be unaffected by the explosion. Although she was covered in soot and splinters of wood. Elijah rushed to her side, picking her up bridal style, holding her as close to his chest as possible to keep her safe and he whispered "My Darling, you are an angel sent from heaven to protect this family." With that he kissed her lips and she opened her eyes, to see Elijah again had completed her, that soon became a hot make out session of, which Klaus surprisingly accepted seeing his brother happy also the fact that Hope was safe in his arms. Because of Scarlet's vow to Hayley.

Hayley's final wish was complete.
But Hope still did not know of her mother's death...
She is only a child.
"Scarlet will not die today,She will live yet,to fight another day." Klaus reminded Elijah "But Hayley is to find peace, loving any of us is a death wish, she should have stayed away from day one" he continued as tears fell from his eyes as they all shared a family hug, after Hope was placed in the car. Kol, Freya, Rebekah, Niklaus, Elijah and Scarlet all huddled together to share a last family hug. "May Hayley always find peace" they all repeated a couple of times before returning to the cars.
