Narrator:A day after going to the Dragon Empery, Takeo wants to visit another new region.

Takeo:"Another one!"

Z23:"You can't be serious..."

Javelin:"Another outing? Yay!"

Laffey:"Zzz...Laffey is going to so many places now..."

Ayanami:"Where are we going this time?"

Takeo:"Hmm...let me think about that."

Takeo(mind):There's a couple of them I know absolutely nothing about. Then there's that one.

Takeo:"Alright, how about we visit the Vichya Dominion?"

Z23:"Huh...why that region?"

Takeo:"Because we know a ship there."

Javelin:"Oh, you mean Gascogne?"

Takeo:"Yep, maybe we'll see her during our visit."

Laffey:"Laffey is coming too..."

Takeo:"Of course, you are. I'm not just gonna leave you here."

Javelin:"Alright, then let's go right now!"

Takeo:"Agreed, let's leave immediately."

Z23:"Jeez...you two are so alike."

Takeo:"I just want to visit the Vichya Dominion."

Dido:"O-Ok, I'll lock up the office before we head out."

*They all get ready to leave, and Dido locks up the office. They make it to the dock and Takeo jumps on top of Dido as they head to the Vichya Dominion*

Takeo:"Alright, I can see the dock. Let's head over there."

Dido:"Yes, master."

*They head to the port and Takeo notices something at the dock*

Takeo:"Wait a minute, isn't that-"

Takeo(mind):The Eiffel Tower?!

Javelin:"Commander, we are arriving."

Takeo:"O-Ok."

*They arrive at the dock, and transform back*

Takeo:"So this is the Vichya Dominion region?"

Takeo(mind):I never knew the Vichya Dominion was the French Navy.

Dido:"The Vichya Dominion region is said to be a very romantic place."

Takeo, Javelin, Ayanami, Z23:"R-Romantic?!"

Laffey:"Romantic...zzz..."

*Takeo carries Laffey on his back*

Takeo:"Confortable?"

Laffey:"Yes..."

Takeo:"Good to hear."

Javelin:"H-Hey, commander?"

Takeo:"Huh? What's up, Javelin?"

Javelin:"W-Well, I just wanted to ask, is there anywhere you would like to go?"

Takeo:"Hmm? Well, maybe we should look for someone to give us a tour of a place."

*Javelin's jaw drop as her face looks like she just got struck by lightning*

Javelin:"L-Looking for someone else?!"

Takeo:"Huh? Is something wrong with that?"

Z23:"W-What Javelin is trying to say is that we would like to spend time with you here. I-If you want to."

Takeo:"Oh, I see. Sure, we can have some quality bonding time when we are done with the tour."

Javelin:"R-Really?!"

*Javelin's eyes start sparkling*

Takeo(mind):Her mood changed quickly.

Ayanami:"I-I wouldn't mind some bonding time, I guess."

Dido:"M-Me neither. J-Just thinking about it...I-I can't stop smiling."

*All of the girls start blushing*

Takeo(mind):Oh boy, I just got their hopes up.

*Takeo sighs as they leave the dock of the Vichya Dominion. Takeo then spots something strange*

Takeo:"Wait, why are there two flags?"

Z23:"Huh? Oh, this region is actually owned by two navies."

Takeo:"Wait, really?!"

Takeo(mind):We just got a two for one visit?!

Takeo:"Wait, what's the name of the other navy then?"

Z23:"The other navy is called Iris Libre."

Takeo:"Ok, what makes them different from each other, teacher?"

Z23:"Well, the difference between the two are that Iris Libre represent the 'Free French Naval Forces', while the Vichya Dominion represents the 'National Navy' and got it's from Vichy, a city in France."

Takeo(mind):Huh...I'm guessing those navies were part of WW2, and since France was split from the Nazis control, they must have been on opposite sides too.

Takeo:"So that's why there are two navies in this single region."

???:"Oh, you're a new face. Are you perhaps not from around here?"

Takeo:"Huh?"

*A girl with long blonde hair and turquoise eyes approaches us*

Takeo:"O-Oh, yeah. We are visiting this region. Nice to meet you, I am the commander of Azur Lane."

???:"Bonjour commander, I'm Émile Bertin, but everyone just call me Émile."

Takeo:"Well, Émile, are you part of the Vichya Dominion, or the Iris Libre?"

Émile Bertin:"I'm a light cruiser from the Iris Libre. Are you unfamiliar with this region? I could give you a tour of the place if you want."

Takeo:"Actually we were just looking for one."

Émile Bertin:"Well, what a coincidence then. I'll gladly give all of you a tour."

Javelin:"Really?! Thank you, Miss Émile."

Dido:"We greatly appreciate your help."

Émile Bertin:"The pleasure's all mine, I'm always happy to help people. Well then, shall we get going?"

Takeo:"Alright, let's go."

*They follow Émile Bertin around the region, and she shows them to the headquarters*

Émile Bertin:"And this is the HQ of the Iris Libre. The Vichya Dominion HQ is right behind it."

Takeo:"Got it, I wonder who runs the Iris Libre and who runs the Vichya Dominion?"

Émile Bertin:"Do you want me to show you the inside?"

Takeo:"Is it really ok for us to go inside?"

Émile Bertin:"Of course, but unfortunately only one person at a time can meet with our leader at a time."

Dido:"What's gonna happen to him in there?"

Émile Bertin:"Huh? I'll just have to let the commander in to meet with our leader."

Javelin:"I don't see anything wrong with that."

Z23:"We'll wait here after you're done talking with their leader, commander."

Takeo:"Ok then."

Émile Bertin:"Alright then, follow me, commander."

*Émile Bertin leads Takeo into the headquarters and they make it to a huge blue door with a silver doorframe*

Takeo(mind):Whoa! This door is at least twice as tall as me!

*Émile Bertin heads inside, and talks to someone in the room*

Émile Bertin:"My lady, we have a important visitor."

???:"Whom is this important visitor, if I may ask?"

Émile Bertin:"The newest commander of Azur Lane."

*Émile Bertin opens the door wider, Takeo enters the room and sees a woman with short orange hair and sparkly pink eyes*

???:"Bonjour, commander. I am the leader of the the Iris Libre, Richelieu."

Takeo:"I-It's very nice to meet you, Richelieu."

Takeo(mind):What's with her presence? It's like I'm meeting some kind of priestess. I feel like I have to act professionally.

Richelieu:"Please, sit down and relax. Are there any questions that you have for me, commander?"

Takeo:"Oh, well...Is it ok if I ask what kind of place the Iris Libre really is?"

Takeo(mind):I don't know much about the ships or environment, I just know it's basically France.

Richelieu:"We ships at the Iris Libre have but one purpose, to fight for freedom and faith. And I, Cardinal of Iris Libre, shall bring victory to anyone who desires such."

Takeo(mind):Wow, that's quite the description.

Takeo:"I see. That's a pretty outstanding reason for fighting."

Richelieu:"We believe it is the right reason to fight."

Takeo:"Huh..."

Richelieu:"Does Iris Libre catch your interest?"

Takeo:"I believe in your reason to fight, and think it is a moral reason. I think that I would like to fight for freedom as well."

Takeo(mind):Though I'm not sure what to fight against when it comes to freedom.

Richelieu:"Very well, I shall assist you with finding and fighting in a fight for freedom."

*Richelieu pulls out a certificate*

Takeo(mind):Oh jeez, it's been a long time since I've seen one of those.

Takeo:"I appreciate your offering, but I haven't found myself in such a fight, so I'll politely decline for now."

Takeo(mind):Not seeing certificates in a whole made me forget how important they are, but oh well, these girls can help me without even giving me their certificates.

Takeo:"I am grateful to you for accepting me so easily. Thank you, Richelieu."

Richelieu:"No need for such gratitude, commander. Although your decline was unexpected, I'll still wait for you to find yourself in that fight for freedom."

Takeo(mind):Jeez, this is getting too formal for my mind to keep it up.

Takeo:"Well then, Richelieu. I enjoyed our chat, but I must head back."

Richelieu:"I see, very well. Until we meet again then."

*Takeo stands up, bows, and leaves the room*

Takeo(mind):Man, that encounter felt more exhausting than encountering Taihou or even Atago.

*Takeo walks around the hallway, but can't find the exit*

Takeo:"Um...where did I come from again?"

Takeo(mind):Am I seriously lost?! You've got to be kidding me.

*Takeo continues walking around until he sees someone*

Takeo(mind):Phew, hopefully they can help me find my way around this place.

*He finds a girl with long white hair and blue eyes sleeping in the middle of the hallway*

Takeo:"Laffey? Is that you?!"

Takeo(mind):Wait, Laffey has bunny ears, but this girl doesn't. Then who is this girl? Did she pass out or something? Oh well, I can ask this once she wakes up, I should probably get her out of the middle of the hallway.

*Takeo carries the girl on his back and finds a opening to the outside*

Takeo:"Alright, now where did I end up?"

*Takeo looks around, but doesn't find anyone. He covers the little girl's eye from the sun as he walk along the headquarters*

Takeo(mind):Now that I'm outside, I should find Émile and the girls, maybe Émile knows who this girl is.

???:"Hey, what are you going to do with this girl, sir?"

Takeo:"Huh?"

*Takeo spots a girl with long red hair and green eyes*

Takeo:"Uh...who are you?"

???:"Man, that's no way to treat someone, but fine. My name is Surcouf and I'm a submarine of the Iris Libre."

Takeo:"The Iris Libre? Do you know who this girl is?"

Surcouf:"No, not really. Hey, wait a minute, you haven't said your name yet. That's really mean, you know."

Takeo:"S-Sorry, I'm Takeo Koshiro, the commander of Azur Lane."

Surcouf:"Oh? You're the commander? Here then."

*Surcouf hands Takeo a certificate*

Takeo:"Huh? Why are you giving me this?"

Surcouf:"I heard that you're a really fun person, so I decided to give it to ya."

Takeo:"That's it?!"

Surcouf:"Yep."

Takeo:"H-Huh..."

Surcouf:"Well then, can I ask what you're doing with the little girl?"

Takeo:"Hey, don't look at me like that. I just wanted to know who this girl is."

Surcouf:"Hmm...I think I've seen her before, but I cannot but my finger on it."

Takeo:"Alright then. Well, I've got to get going back to my girls."

Surcouf:"Girls? Hehe...well, how about I go with you?"

Takeo:"Huh? Why do you say that?"

Surcouf:"You just seem like a funny guy."

Takeo:"W-Well thanks."

*They continue walking around until they've found everyone else*

Narrator:Wow, Takeo is in a pretty suspicious position. A girl next to him, and another girl on his back. I wonder how the girls are gonna react, you've got to stay tuned for that.
