the wind calls

sweeping over seas,

valleys and plains

It whispers to the ears

and echoes in the heart

Today is your time

for a new start

Do not stand

in solitude

without the Word,

your guide

but let your day

in gratitude

and in determination

abide

The race itself

is not given

to the swift

or to the strong

but to them 

who persevere

and keep moving

right along

Rise up

on eagle's wings

and do not be weary

as you run

is another journey
