Chapter 2
In the flower, Akina took a moment to collect herself. She placed a hand over her heart as she felt it slowly stop racing. From outside the flower, there were loud explosions and the petals shook- indicating that it was currently being attacked. Though no matter how strong the attack, unless it was from a demon, her spell would not be broken through easily.
Using her enhanced hearing, Akina listened to what was going on outside the rose. Aside from the sounds of fighting echoing around her, there were some closer voices— ones that she could only guess that they came from the people who had just attacked her.
"Come on out here, you damn villain!" Someone shouted, their words followed by a few explosions.
"Calm down Bakugo. You're going to cut yourself on some of those thorns if you get too close." Another voice said, this one was a lot calmer.
"I'll calm down once this cowardly villain shows herself, shitty hair!" The first voice, Bakugo, responded.
That irked Akina, and she burst out of the rose landing not too far from Bakugo, "Who're you calling cowardly, you Bomb Wannabe?!"
"Looks like you made her angry." The heterchomatic boy said.
Bakugo scoffed before he lunged at Akina, using some explosions to propel him faster, though Akina saw his attack coming a mile away and dodged it with ease. There was a loud crash from not too far from where Akina was and she looked over to see man who's buffness could possibly rival Elfman's throwing a bird-like creature into the air and through the roof.
"That was like the finishing move in a video game. He punched the shock absorption right out of him!" The redhead stated, looking at the hole in the roof with awe. "I've never seen that kind of brute strength."
"Imagine having power like that..." Bakugo said.
Akina tilted her head, having power like that is normal though. I've seen a lot of my guilmates do that when we're having a celebration. Poor Elfman gets thrown around a lot.
"I really have gotten weaker." A voice said, and Akina looked over to where there was smoke rising up from the ground, the buff man from before standing in the middle of it. "Back in my hayday, five hits would of been enough to knock that guy out. But today, it took more than three hundred mighty blows!"
Akina watched as the man turned to face two other men. A guy with hands all over him and someone that looked a lot like the portal that transported her here.
"You've been bested, villains." He said simply. "Surrender now. We all want to get this over with quickly."
The hand man scoffed and started to scratch his neck. "Oh come on. What's going on here. He's just as strong as he's always been. Damn it, and that girl over there is no help at all. Don't tell me I was lied to."
"What's wrong? Not attacking me? Didn't you say you were going to clear this level earlier? Well come and get me, if you dare." The buff man challenged.
"Man, this is intense." Bakugo muttered.
"As I expected, there's no reason for us to fight now, he'll handle this." The heterchomatic boy said.
"This is tense? Wow, you guys are wimps." Akina said.
"What'd you call me?!" Bakugo shouted.
"You heard me."
"Bakugo calm down, we need to meet up with the others. Midoriya, are you coming? The last thing we want to do is get taken hostage or get in his way." The red head asked, looking over towards the green haired boy.
It seemed like the buff man was having an inner monologue as he faced off against the villains. For a second or two he glanced over at her and they made eye contact before he looked back towards the two villains.
I could care less about what's happening right now. I just wanna ask that misty man to send me back to where he took me from. The guild's probably worried about me. She sighed, watching the interaction with a blank expression.
"What, are you scared?" The buff man taunted.
The hand man continued to scratch at his neck, "If only Nomu was here, he'd rush in right now, pound you into the ground without giving it a second thought."
"Shigaraki Tomura, please do not fret. Look at him, he has definitely weakened. Nomu's attacks were successful. And that girl over there still might be useful."
"Yeah, I wouldn't count on that." Akina called out, watching as the hand man started to scratch faster.
The mist man looked at Akina, the yellow slits narrowing in distain before he continued. "Look, he's on his own, these children look to be frozen in fear. And look, our underlings are already recovering. We likely still have a few minutes before their reinforcements arrive. If you and I work together, we can do this. We have't missed out chance to kill All Might!"
"Yeah... yeah, you're right. This is it. We have no choice. We have to do it now. I mean, the big end boss is right here." The hand man said and started laughing.
"I think All Might can hold his own against the main guys, lets make sure these dudes don't hurt anybody else." The redhead said, his arms hardening into a stone-like material.
Oh! That's interesting. I didn't see a magic circle for that! Could his magic similar to Elfman's? She thought before looking back towards the hand man. She felt like one hell of a bystander right now, she wished she could do something but she had absolutely no clue what was happening.
Suddenly, Shigaraki started sprinting towards All Might and reached forwards to attack. Though out of the corner of her eye she noticed a blur of green and watched as Midoriya jumped into the air and moved to punch Shigaraki.
"Woah, Midoriya!" The red head shouted out.
Akin's eyes widened as she saw his legs start flapping in the air. Did he... break them? She wondered.
"Don't you touch All Might! You stupid villain!" Midoriya shouted, pulling his fist back ready to punch the mist man who had moved to stand between Shigaraki and the oncoming teen.
Akina watched as Shigaraki reached to the side, his hand outstretched towards Midorya. In a split second Akina created some vines from the ground and wrapped it around Shigarki's wrist and Midoriya's waist, pulling the green haired boy away and keeping Shigaraki's wrist restrained.
"I don't know who you think you are. And I have absolutely no clue what's going on here or where I am but I will not just stand by and let a villain like you terrorize people." She said, a dark aura surrounding her.
"You damn brat!" Shigaraki shouted, his other hand twitching before it shot out to his side and went through a portal, only to reappear right in front of Akina's face.
Before anything could happen, there was a loud bang that caught Akina off guard and caused her get the vines to release the two, dropping Midoriya to the ground and unraveling itself from Shigaraki's wrist.
The scent of blood made it's way to her nose and she noticed that there was a hole in Shigaraki's hand, blood starting to drip down to the ground.
"They're here." All Might said, looking off in the distance.
Akina followed his gaze to see a grand staircase with a crowd of people standing at the top. There were two loud bangs and a smell similar to gunpowder magic made it's way to her nose.
"Sorry, everyone! I know we're a bit late, but I got the teachers over here as fast as I could!" A voice exclaimed from the top of the stairs.
The other villains that the mist man had called 'underlings' started attacking the group of newcomers. Akina watched as one of them stepped forwards and after a second she had fallen to the ground, covering her ears and scrunching her eyes tightly as a loud screech washed over her.
When she opened her eyes, she noticed that identical figures were fighting all of the villains- they must be clones of someone.
"Our priority is to protect all of our students!" The same voice from before exclaimed.
"Aw man." Shigaraki said, starting to back up into the mist man. "The pros are here. It's game over for real. Let's go home, we'll try this when we- ah!" There were small beams of light as bullets whizzed past Akina and made contact with Shigaraki, the scent of blood getting stronger as he got his a few times.
As the mist man's mist was slowly encompassing Shigaraki' Akina perked up, realizing that her only way of getting back to Fairy Tail was already starting to leave. Before she could stop him, there was a strong wind, pulling him into the air.
"You! Take me back to where you got me from you mist bastard!" Akina shouted, starting to run towards him.
Just as she got to where he was, both the villains had disappeared and Akina was left standing alone, reaching towards an empty space.
