Chapter 3: Captured and Frayed.

(Amelia's POV)

I've been here at the Hellsing manor for a week now. Alucard has not even acknowledged me since my first day here.

My time has been spent by training with Seras and sleeping.

I was sitting in my room, by myself, and decided I would take a walk outside.

I walked to my wardrobe and grabbed a wool coat, considering it was mid winter. I slipped on a pair of black leather boots that laced all the way up to mid calf.

It was about two thirty in the morning, Alucard and Seras were up, so I had to be quiet.

I pulled back the curtains and unlocked the window. A cool breeze rolled in that sent shivers down my spine.

I quietly opened the window and stepped out onto the balcony and slowly shut the window back.

I looked around for a place to climb down when I noticed how far the shutters went down, perfect. I carefully climbed down and landed silently.

I looked up at the windows to make sure I hadn't woken anyone up. When the coast was clear, I made my way into the woods.

I rather enjoy night walks. They help me clear my head, and I definitely needed it.

The air was crisp and cool and icy to the touch. My breath left little clouds in the night sky. The hardened snow crunched underneath my feet with every step I took.

This is exactly what I needed, time to myself. Time to decide what exactly is going on. Time to decide on what I need to do.
Should I try and talk to Alucard? He is my master after all. I need his help with all of this. I need him to show me things I can use. I need to be taught. I need to learn.

I continued to walk when I came upon a clearing out from the trees. A small iced pond sat in the middle of the beautiful scenery.

A small bench sat beside the pond, I decided I would sit and enjoy the quiet and peacefulness.

I walked over to the bench and sat down. I looked up into the cloudless sky. Stars danced around the darkness and illuminated everything within their grasp.

I turned to the pond, when something caught my attention. It sounded like footsteps crunching in the snow.

Maybe it's just a rabbit. I shook the thought from my head and continued to gaze at the icy pond. I wonder what happens to the fish in the winter? The thought has never occurred to me.

Maybe they freeze up and die. Maybe they live through it. Maybe th- that noise again. It sounded as if it was getting closer.

I turned my head to the side, but saw nothing. Maybe I should head back to the manor.

I stood from the bench and wiped snow from my coat. I slowly started to walk back through the woods.

The sound drew nearer. I started to pick up my pace a little. I passed by a few unfamiliar surroundings and found myself lost. Excellent.

I stood for a moment to take in the scenery to see if I recognized any of it. Of course I did not.

The footsteps got louder and that's when I heard it, a voice.

"Hey there, where do you think you're going sweet cheeks? You're mine now bitch."

I was suddenly frozen with fear, I couldn't move. It's like my legs had a mind of their own.

My heartbeat began to speed up at an alarming rate. I couldn't even turn my head.

The footsteps got closer, it sounded as if they were a few feet behind me.

I finally built up enough courage to take a few steps. I picked up my shaking left foot and slowly stepped forward.

"Ah ah ah, you're not getting away that easy bitch."

Suddenly, a tall dark figure appeared in front of me. It stepped out from the darkness, revealing a man.

His hair was black and shaggy, with a dark blue toboggan with some sort of strange design, sitting on top of his head. His eyes were golden and filled to the brim with hunger.

He wore several golden piercings on his tanned face. His clothes consisted of a dark blue track suit with white pinstripes on the arm and legs of it.

He started to reach for my face, but I turned away.

"Come on now. Don't be that way. You are mine now after all, and I have some fun things for us to do. So come with me."
I built up a little more courage to say something. "W-why would I w-want to go with y-you?"

He started to laugh manically, which sent shivers up my spine.

"It's not like you have a choice, bitch."

He jumped behind me and placed a hand over my mouth. I kicked at him, but there was no escaping.

I called Alucards name as loud as I could, but it wouldn't be of any use. He wouldn't come anyways.

The man whispered in my ear. "Shhh, it's alright. Just relax."

Soon enough I realized that his hand was covered in some sort of drug. I felt myself become dazed.

I tried hard not to breathe in the toxins, but there was no fighting it. I had to breathe, either that or die due to lack of oxygen. Since I'm a vampire, I'm not sure if it would be that easy, but I did not want to find out.

My lungs were burning from deprivation of oxygen. After a few moments of struggling, I finally gave in and took a large breath of air.

Black bubbles slowly started to dance around my vision. And like that, I was gone.
