'Oh My Fucking God, I have a date with Zack!' Alexis's mind screamed, it made her want to scream with joy. Nothing in the world could bring her down right now, she was the happiest person in the whole entire world.

That was until she came to the drive way of her house, it was just four feet away from her. It was the only thing that separated her from the dark brown door that lead into her hell. Sighing she slowly made her way towards the door, the whole time she thought about one thing and one thing only. Completely forgetting about her date,she thought three words. 'I'm gonna die!'

When Alexis got to the door, and slowly opened it. It revealed a very quiet house, at first! Then one by one her parents and siblings came towards her. Smirks on her brother and sister face told her everything. She was indeed going to die!

Thinking fast Alexis ran to the stairs, and surprisingly made it to her room. However she wasn't fast enough to lock the door, because her parents managed to get inside. Instantly they began beating her, but the pain didn't bother her. What bothered her was the fact the people she had came to trust were beating her, she wished she was dead at this moment.

"WHY THE FUCK DID WE EVER TAKE YOU IN! YOUR A FUCKING EMO FREAK! AND WHO EVER LEFT YOU WERE FREAKS THEMSELVES WITH THAT STUPID BLANKET!" Her "mother" said, before throwing a black blanket at her. It was her baby blanket, one of the only things that gave her comfort. She found beauty in the who,e thing it was black and it literally said darkness. She loved it. With that her fake parents left her and she was alone.

'What should I do I'm covered in bruises I can feel them, maybe I should call Whitney or Sebastian or maybe Za.......CK! O my god my date!' She remembered instantly abut her date, and ignored they pain to get ready.

Alexis smiled at herself it took about two hours but she was in her knee length black dress. Black boots, and for her accessory she wore the charm Zack gave her. However when she finished she felt all the pain from the beating, looking in the mirror she saw bruises everywhere. So she couldn't wear her strapless dress, she had to put on something else.

Quickly she ran and grabbed a long sleeved shirt and put it over her dress. Smiling at herself, she was glad that the thought had quickly popped into her head. So she could where her dress.

DING

DONG

Alexis looked at the time. 'Fuck it's five a clock Zacks here!' She quickly rushed out of her room, to the door. Opening the door, and she let him in.

"Thank god your here." She exclaimed hugging him,

"Is there something wrong?" Zack asked, enveloping her in his arms as well. Alexis was about to tell him everything when her mother came downstairs.

"Alexis who is this?" Her adopted mother asked,

"This is Zack, he's my date." Alexis said, watching as a shocked glare came from her. Alexis couldn't help but grin. "Lets go Zack." Alexis said, looking into his eyes. Which his expression was confused. Reaching up and whispering in his ear. "I'll tell you everything." With that both of them left.

Zack kept glancing at Alexis, since they got into the car. He really wanted to know what the fuck was going on and how he could help. He also needed to tell her the truth and soon because time was indeed running short.

"Alexis, what's going on?" Zack finally ask, and he watched as she jumped. Looking at him, she sighed.

"Are we going some where public?" Was her answer,

"No I thought about going for a quiet evening at the park, and your avoiding the subject." Zack replied looking at her before looking back at the road.

Instantly Alexis turned on the light in the car, making it incredibly bright. Which caused both to blink a few times. Then gently Zack watched as Alexis pushed up her sleeve revealing bruises, wiping off the foundation over her eyes again revealing two black eyes. Zack gritted his teeth in anger, whoever did this to her was gonna pay.

"My well at least I thought they were my parents, I found out today they took me in off the streets." Zack gave her a look. He knew where this was going, and well may god have mercy on there souls for when he got through with them. There won't be enough flesh for the birds, cause he's gonna make sure every little ounce of them burned in hell.

"Alexis, you don't need to finish I can guess what you are gonna say. Know this and know this well. I will always protect you." Alexis looked at Zack, and Zack couldn't help but look at her. He noticed trust and a hint of love in her eyes. He had to tell her tonight. "Now there is something I need to tell you tonight, and you have to promise me you won't freak out about it." In an instant Alexis nodded. Probably not hearing any thing he just said. "What did I just say?"

"There is something you need to tell me tonight, and to promise that I won't freak out about it. Which I won't, nothing surprises me." Zack looked at her and sure fucking hoped she was right about that.
