"You must eat, or you will pass out again. Don't you want to restore some of your strength?" A feminine voice asked, but her words were blurry to the man she was talking to. In her hand was a plate with a piece of steak and some beans on it. She sat on a chair just beside of the bed the man was lying on. Her worried expression never left her face as she continued coaxing the man to eat. She waited for him to reply but no words came out of his mouth. The man haven't shown any movements since the other day and he refuses to eat the food given to him by the servant. This caused him to pass out several times. And today, as usual, he refuses to eat.

"Please eat, King. I don't want my brother to--"

"Get mad at you again?" The man speaks but his voice was low due to the pain his body was suffering. He did not even take a look at the woman, his eyes were locked on the sheets he was clutching to.

The pink-haired lady stared agaped at the King. She knew that the King was right about what he have said but that sounds aching even to her. "Not just to  me, Your Majesty, he will also hurt you again and I do not want to see you writhing in pain. Every night, I would see you cry. It pains me to see you, a great and very generous King, crying even though you did nothing wrong." She lowered her head, tears starting to build up on her eyes.

This time, the King glanced at the maiden. "If you are feeling that, and if you know the truth, then why are you not helping me to escape? Why are you still locking me here?" His voice was a little louder, his expression hinted of anger.

She sniffed before answering him, "I would if I could, Your majesty. I'm doing this because I know this is what's best for the both of us. If I will help you escape, my brother would punish me. He will torture me too, just like how he tortures you. I do not want that to happen."

"Then why don't you escape with me? Run away from your brother. That will be best for the both of us, don't you think? Come to my castle, he will never get his hands on you ever again for my guards will protect you also. You will be safe there." Their eyes met, her eyes full of sadness but his majesty's eyes have shown her bit if strength and hope. She was very thankful of the King, he really is very kind, unlike his father. The King does not deserve to be here, locked up inside a dark room and being tortured by the Joker.

But she will have to turn down his offer. Without the help of his brother, she should have been dead by now. She owes her life to him, even though she knew right from the start that the Joker is an evil man.

"I can't. I'm sorry, King Tetsuya, but I cannot leave my brother. He saved me before and I owe him my life. I really, really want to accept your offer but I just can't. You are a great King and you need to get out of here. You don't deserve to be here. You should be in your Kingdom, helping those who are in need." She reaches for his hand and clasps it gently. "I... I will help you."

"M-Miss...Satsuki..." Tetsuya's blue orbs were wide, he stared at her a long time, waiting for her to speak again.

"I will help you get out of here." She was serious. She tightens her grip on his hand.

"But you--"

She shook her head lightly. "It doesn't matter anymore. I will have to do what is right, even if it costs my life. I would be fine knowing that the one who will take my life would be my brother. You should go back to your castle and inform them about the Joker."

The King cannot believe what he was hearing. He cannot just leave this fair maiden behind. She will also be tortured by the Joker. The pain he felt was added by the pain of thinking about the possibilities of what her brother might do to her. "What about you? I cannot leave you here alone. You also don't deserve to be here. A fair maiden like you should be spending their time with their family and friends. You should be smiling and laughing outside this dark castle!"

"Please don't raise your voice, Your majesty, or he might hear us. Listen, I will be fine here. You need to think about yourself. Tomorrow night, I will help you escape."

"No..."

She ignores him. She continued telling him the plan of his escape, "I will lead you outside through the back of this castle. There is a small boat there that you may use to escape this island. As for the directions, just continue paddling your way towards east and you should be able to reach the Kingdom of Hearts less than a day." Instructed Satsuki.

He tentatively listened to her instructions, noting it all in his mind. He sets his mind for tomorrow night and that after escaping and coming back to his Kingdom, he will save the young lady from the Joker. He owes her this time. And he will repay her the kindness she had shown him when they have already rescued her.

After talking about the escape plan, Satsuki waited for the King to fall asleep. Surprising enough, the King ate the food prepared for him. Satsuki left his room after a few more minutes of staring at his sleeping face. She prayed for their escape plan to  work tomorrow night before falling asleep in her own bedroom.

Alright sooo, I want to say sorry, again, for posting this a bit late. I was doing a lot of things this vacation that I hardly get enough enjoyment (;ω;)
I want to ask you guys about this chapter. Was it good? I've written it two times yesterday because it was crappy and tbh I haven't thought of an ending for this story yet. So my ideas are a bit messy and I just type whatever that is that pops into my head. That's how I write my stories. Lol (*＾▽＾)／ I hope you liked this chapter, because I did, too. Okay, so about KnFB, I'm putting it into hiatus first because I'm too busy. And I have read it from the very beginning to the latest chapter and I noticed that the latest chapters weren't as funny as the first ones. Raise your hand if you have noticed that too. I think my interest is starting to fade for that book, but I'm still going to try my best to update it, even if it would take weeks for me to update it. I reallyhope you guys understand o (^‿^✿)ｏ
