*This is really just a filler chapter, not much really happens but I bet y'all can't guess who's in the next chapter....*

"Are you sure you should be going to this party?" Damon asks cautiously as he stands in the doorway to Christian's room.

"Why wouldn't I?" Christian asks standing in front of the body length mirror tying his tie.

"Really? You have to ask?"

"I'm fine, Damon" Christian tells him. "So, what I had  little breakdown a few days ago" He shrugs.

"A little break down?" Damon raises his eyebrows. "You wiped out a whole town in Maryland" He deadpans. "You drank the whole Mystic Grill alcohol supply."

"Yeah? And?" Christian asks looking at him through the mirror. "That was a few days ago, I'm over it now" He tells him. Damon hums unconvinced by his brothers words.

"Just remember, the council is gonna be there. We're already trying to kill Katherine, we don't need you snapping and exposing us" Damon tells him.

"I'll be fine, Damon. I won't interfere with your little plan, I won't expose us... I just want to go and be with Jeremy, alright?" Christian says sounding as mentally tired as he felt.

"Why don't you just hang around the house? Jeremy's part in the plan won't be long, he'll come back when he's done" Damon told him.

"Because..." Christian clenches his jaw and lowers his gaze to the ground. "I don't like where my thoughts go when I'm alone" He answers honestly. "The only time I get any peace is when I'm with Jeremy" Christian turns to his older brother.

"Ok" Damon nods walking into the room towards Christian. "If you can't handle it, leave" Damon tells him. Christian nods. Damon smiles slightly and pats his brothers arm. "Come on, let's go"

The two brothers find Stefan before leaving for the Lockwood mansion. Most of the guests had already arrived but some were still trickling in. Damon and Stefan talk to each other but Christian drowns their voices out as he searches for any signs of Jeremy.

Soon, Christian picks up Jeremy's voice within the mansion. He doesn't hesitate to leave his brothers in search for his boyfriend. He finds Jeremy upstairs away from the party with Bonnie Bennett. 

"Hey, there you are" Jeremy smiles the moment he sees Christian. It made Christian relax knowing that despite how many people he recently murdered Jeremy still loved and wanted to be with him. Jeremy understood how hard it was for vampires to control their emotions, he understood their natural instinct to kill and he didn't judge Christian nor did he try to change him.

"Everything good up here?" He asks instantly grabbing Jeremy's outstretched hand while looking at Bonnie.

"Yeah, we're all good" Bonnie nods feeling slightly uncomfortable around Christian. She didn't trust him a single bit. She had heard what he had done and that only added to her unease about him.

"Good, let's get going" Christian says pulling Jeremy along. Hesitantly, Bonnie follows them.

"We need to let Stefan and Damon know the room's ready" Bonnie spoke up. Christian nods silently and begins to lead them towards his brothers. "Do you feel that?" Bonnie asks coming to a stop. Christian didn't intend on stopping as well but didn't have a choice when Jeremy pulled on his hand.

"What?" Christian snipped slightly. Bonnie tenses and gives him a warning glare. Christian growls glaring back.

"Hey, easy" Jeremy whispers stepping in front of him. Christian's attention instantly moves to him. "Relax" He mutters rubbing his chest. He leans forward and kisses Christian's neck.

"Let's find Damon" Bonnie said after returning from checking out what had given her a weird feeling.

"After you, your majesty" Christian grumbles sarcastically. Jeremy gives his hand a squeeze before pulling him to follow the Bennett witch.

Soon, they find Damon and Stefan. Once they let them know the room is ready they separate again and wait for the signal. Jeremy strikes up a casual conversation with Bonnie while Christian stays silent. He could sense Bonnie's unease around him, he knew the Bennett witch didn't like him.

So, instead of talking, Christian simply hugged Jeremy. He hugged his boyfriend from behind with his head burrowed in Jeremy's neck. Jeremy rubbed his hands along Christian's arms keeping the vampire calm. The last thing anybody needed was for Christian to snap and destroy Mystic Falls.

Sooner than what Christian would have liked, Jeremy was leaving to do his part. He didn't like the thought of him going up to Katherine alone but knew Katherine wouldn't try anything. While Katherine could physically overpower Christian, Christian could outsmart Katherine in terms of hand-to-hand combat making Christian more dangerous in a fight. Katherine wouldn't win if she pissed him off and the only way to piss him off so badly that he'd actually fight her is if she harmed Jeremy, she knew better.

"So..." Christian mutters from beside Bonnie as they wait for Jeremy to come back. "You look nice" He compliments awkwardly.

"Thanks" Bonnie mutters looking anywhere but him. Christian sighs and simply eavesdrops on Jeremy's conversation with Katherine. It goes according to plan and he returns unharmed.

"Come on" Christian says walking away.

"What happened?" Bonnie asked worriedly. 

"Elena's crashing the party" Christian tells her simply as he leads her to Jeremy and Elena.

"You guys are trying to kill her here?" Elena asks. 

"We saw an opportunity and we knew we had to take it" Jeremy explains settling back in Christian's arms. Christian sighs happily as he kisses the top of his head.

"Ok, stop with the 'we', are you guys crazy?" Elena snapped. "You're gonna get yourselves killed"

"We know what we're doing, Elena" Bonnie tells her.

"And how am I supposed to feel if one of you guys gets hurt because of me?" Elena asks.

"It's not just you anymore, Elena" Jeremy calls her out. "She's messed with all of us, she has to be stopped" Christian smirks at Elena's flabbergasted look. He places another kiss on Jeremy's head feeling pride bubble up in his chest.

"You know what? You two-" Elena growls pointing towards Jeremy and Christian. Christian snarls but falls silent as Elena screams in pain.

"What's going on?" Jeremy asks worriedly.

"Jeremy, it's Katherine" Bonnie realizes. "She's linked to Katherine,"

"Oh no" Christian mutters sarcastically.

"Get them to stop! Now!" Bonnie orders.

"Chris" Jeremy pleads knowing Christian would be faster. Christian whines but does what his boyfriend wants.

"Damon, stop!" Christian shouts stopping at the threshold of the door. "She's linked to Katherine!" Damon freezes before he can kill her. "Anything you do to her, you do to Elena... I don't think that's something you guys want... I personally don't care but to each their own I guess" Christian mutters under his breath.

"You think you three are the only ones with a witch on your side?" Katherine smirks. "Wrong and something tells me that my witch is better than you witch"

"Christian, go check on Elena" Stefan orders. "Make sure she's ok, Go!"

"Chill bro, I'm sure precious Elena is fine" Christian rolls his eyes. "I'm your brother, not your little bitch" Christian snipped before walking away from them. "Well, 10 points to you Bennett, you were right" Christian says walking up to them. "Katherine had a witch link Elena to Katherine"

"The girl I saw, the one inside" Bonnie says standing up. "Stay with her, keep pressure on her shoulder" Bonnie races into the party.

"Where are you going?" Jeremy shouts after her.

"There's another witch here, I'm gonna find her!"

"Chris..." Jeremy says and Christian raises an eyebrow at him. "Can you heal her?"

"I don't want his blood" Elena shakes her head. "I'll be fine, drinking his blood is too risky"

"What? Worried I'll snap you neck as soon as you drink it?" Christian smirks. Elena gives him a hard look. "Can't say it hasn't passed through my mind once or twice"

"Babe" Jeremy sighs giving him a look. Christian holds his hands up in surrender and falls silent.

"No" Elena shakes her head as Jeremy pulls off his magic ring. Christian tenses.

"Take it" Jeremy insists.

"No, Jeremy..."

"Elena, listen to me" Jeremy pleads. "You need this more than I do"

"Jeremy, put the ring back on" Christian says slowly. "Now" He growls.

"What I need is for you to be safe" Elena tells him. Sighing, Jeremy slips the ring back on making Christian relax.

It felt like forever before Katherine was unlinked from Elena. While they didn't manage to kill Katherine they did manage to trap her in the tomb. Christian honestly didn't care if the girl was alive or not, all he cared about was getting Jeremy home.

"Well, this whole night was a bust" Jeremy bouts as Christian drives them home.

"It could have went a lot worse" Christian says rubbing his thumb over Jeremy's hand.

"At least she's not roaming around to cause more trouble" Jeremy shrugs.

"It's Katherine, I'm sure she'll find a way to cause trouble" Christian adds. Jeremy gives him a look.

"Really?" Jeremy asks. "That doesn't make me feel better"

"Sorry, babe" Christian laughs a bit. "I'll make it up to you at home" He promises with a wink. Jeremy grins at him and slowly shakes his head.
