Harrys POV

I woke up to a light tapping on the window I turned around and saw Dragon waiting to be let in, I got up and opened the window he flew in and landed on the desk. I gave him a treat and he flew off, I opened the letter from Draco it had read, I love you, with a bunch of hearts on the free parchment I smiled and went to work on drawing him a picture I became really good with a few lessons from Dean and some practice I scribbled I love you at the bottom and sent it off with Hedwig. I got dressed and set off for work, we solved the case of the missing teen who was really just a runaway, they had a killing when I was off so I didn't really get to help with that all I knew was that it was on Spinners End.

The sun came up as I arrived, I walked but decided to apparate in the alleyway once I got inside I spotted Ron talking to Percy. Instead of walking over to talk to Ron, like usual, I went to my office to get started on the new assignment, it was a missing witch she was last seen on Spinners End two nights ago before disappearing. There were scraps of a red cloak and a black cloak where she was last seen, there wasn't much to go on besides the memories of the people that last saw her, she hadn't said anything unusual or acted unusually before she disappeared, she was leaving from a party when she passed a small house and disappeared into thin air, there were traces of struggle so she didn't apparate she was taken and her name was, drum roll please, Luna Lovegood. As I was flipping through the file when I heard a knock on the door, "Come in," I said as I was writing something about the picture I was provided before she disappeared down.

"Hey, mate, you ok?" a familiar voice asked sitting down,

"Yeah, how's Ginny?" I asked Ginny and Luna had got married when they got out of Hogwarts I wasn't invited nor was Draco,

"She's holding up, how're the twins?" he asked taking a sit by my desk,

"They're good, quieter than Lily," I replied making him chuckle he opened his mouth to say something when he was interrupted by a light tapping on the window I turned to see Hedwig,

"Who's that from?" Ron asked confused,

"Probably Draco about showing up his drawings," I chuckled opening the window she flew in and dropped a newspaper on my desk, "Nevermind, Daily Prophet,"

"She probably stole it from Remus or Sirius," he said petting Hedwig who was making noises of gratitude,

"Or they gave it to her, look at this," I said handing him the paper he gaped at it, on the front page was a picture of Remus walking down the street casually with Sirius in his animagus form it moved so you could see them walk behind a bush and come out with Sirius and no dog and the heading was, drum roll please, 'Is The Murderer and Lunatic Sirius Black An Illegal Animagus?' he rolled his eyes and handed it back to me.

"Looks like they've got a new Rita Skeeter," he said as I chucked it in the bin I walked back to my desk and looked at the picture again, I saw something in the back by the trees so I took a magnifying glass and saw a hunched over figure. I looked up at Ron with my face screwed up, he looked back confused, "What is it, mate?" he asked in a confused tone,

"Were you at the party the night Luna went missing?" I asked he shook his head,

"No, why? Did you find something?" he asked leaning forward,

"I think so, I need the person that took this picture," I said handing him the picture he nodded and walked out, I grabbed some parchment and my quill scribbling a note to Draco that read:

Draco,

Did you see the Daily Prophet? They're on to Sirius, I might have a lead on Luna's case. I'm waiting for Ron to come back with the person who took the picture I was provided of her and Ginny that night. How's your first lesson over there? Is it going good so far? Just thought I'd check in.

Harry,

I gave Hedwig a treat and the letter and sent her off, I sighed and plopped back down in my chair I turned the file over more to see if there was anything else I could take notes on or find, but there was nothing. I checked my watch to see it was nearing twelve, there was a knock on the door and Percy walked in I motioned for him to sit and he took the seat nearest my desk, "Need anything?" I asked crossing my arms over my desk.

"Did you get anything else on Luna?" he asked tapping a folder in his hands,

"I think I might've, I just sent Ron off to Ginny with the picture I was provided of her that night, there was a figure hunched over in the trees so I asked for the person who took the picture," I said eyeing the folder in his hands,

"How are the kids?" he asked nervously,

"Good, why?" I asked suspiciously,

"Well, you've seen the Daily Prophet, right?" he asked I nodded,

"Yes?" I said unsurely,

"I was sent to question you about it," he said I looked at my watch and sighed,

"Well, my lunch break starts now so speak," I said pulling out the pizza from last night he exhaled deeply,

"Do you know anything about him?" he asked I nodded,

"Yes, he's my Godfather, he was sent to Azkaban for a crime he didn't commit, he has black wavy hair, is currently dating and expecting a child with Remus Lupin, and was freed of all charges a few years ago." I said seriously he glared at me,

"I'm being serious," he said glaring daggers at me,

"So am I," I said glaring right back,

"Has he mentioned anything about being able to transform into a dog?" he asked I stiffened,

"No, he hasn't, if he was an animagus he probably wouldn't even tell me," I said stiffly,

"Right, in case this happened I brought Veritaserum," he said pulling out a vile of clear liquid,

"Just answer one question for me," I said he nodded setting the vile on my desk,

"Of course," he said looking at me with softened features,

"What are the charges against an illegal animagi?" I asked he nodded and looked down,

"There are no charges we just have to register him if he is," he said simply I nodded,

"I'll owl him later and ask if he is and if he wants me to tell you," I said he nodded and stood up taking the vile as he walked out, I sighed and wrote a letter to Sirius that read:

Sirius and Remus,

Percy has just come in to question me about your (Sirius's) animagus form and was wondering if I should tell him. He said there are no charges for it just the trial of your animagus form and registering you, also the kids aren't causing too much trouble are they?

Harry,

I folded it up and sat back down finishing my lunch there was a flutter as Hedwig flew in she dropped a letter on my desk and flew to the perch I had for her. I opened the letter recognizing Draco's handwriting, I remembered the letter I wrote and guessed this to be an answer, it read:

Harry,

I have seen the Daily Prophet, they won't put charges on him they'll do a trial to see his form and register him with his name, date of birth, and the form he takes on when he transforms. The classes, on the other hand, have gone well so far I've only had to take points off a couple of fifth years for talking and disrupting class, I've given out points to those who deserved them.

Draco,

I sighed and placed it down walking over to Hedwig with Sirius and Remus's letter she flew out the window and I sat down.

**When he gets off work**

Harrys POV still

I apparated home to the smell of stew wafting through it I plopped on the couch and rubbed my face as I heard footsteps running from the kitchen, "Papa, Uncle Remus wants you to come down," she said grabbing my hand and pulling me toward the kitchen I chuckled and went with it. When we arrived in the kitchen I sat down in my usual seat and was getting ready to eat when someone coughed I looked up at Remus who nodded his head to his left I turned my head and saw nothing. "What, Remus?" I asked confused he rolled his eyes and put his head in his hand,

"He's trying to tell you to look to your right," Sirius said I looked to my right to see Lily and looked back at him confused,

"It's just Lily?" I say in more of a question,

"Your other right, you idiot," Sirius said taking another bite of stew I looked to my left to see Draco I practically shrieked and jumped in his arms I heard him chuckle as he hugged me back,

"Missed me?" he asked still giggling I nodded and he continued to laugh still hugging me,

"Why are you here?" I asked letting him go,

"Well, Minerva told me I could come and tell you guys something, I can't eat here I have to tell you and go," he said we all nodded and he took a deep breath, "What I'm about to tell you may hurt Jamie and you, Remus,"

"What is it Draco?" I asked rubbing his arm,

"You know how we haven't seen Severus since the party?" he asked looking around at us,

"Yes, what about him?" Remus asked listening intently,

"His boyfriend at the time poisoned him when he arrived home from the party. He made him dinner and put a poisonous plant in it," he said Jamie looked at us confused and a tear fell down Remus's cheek,

"Papa? What's wrong?" Jamie asked confused Remus picked him up and put him on his lap,

"You can't see your dad anymore," he said trying to make it as simple as possible,

"What? Why not?" he asked confused Sirius sighed as more tears slipped from Remus's eyes he stroked James's cheek, 

"Your father is no longer with us, meaning he is dead," Sirius said sadly,

"O-oh," James said his voice was breaking and I could tell he was about to cry I looked at Lily and she was silently crying I stroked her hair and looked at Draco,

"That would explain the killing on Spinners End I wasn't able to be involved in," I said squeezing his hand lightly,

"They didn't tell you?" he asked I shook my head looking back at them to see Remus hugging Jamie I looked back at Draco,

"No, I guess this means you leave now," I said he nodded sadly hugging me again I kissed him and he kissed back, "I love you,"

"I love you, too," he said and with a pop he disappeared.
