Screaming began to echo around the hallways as Ladybug stood waiting for an answer from Alya. Only one of two things were going to happen at this point. Alya was going to stand alongside them or Ladybug was going to have to take her down and get the Miraculous back.

A light flashed through the windows again and Ladybug dived onto Alya pulling her behind a desk in the classroom. Just as they reached the hidden area the door opened and Lila ran back in. Ladybug looked around the side of the desk to see Lila scrambling with her cell phone.

"He's not here!" She bellowed down the phone.

Ladybug watched as Lila paced back and fourth across the room shouting insanities down the microphone.

"Yes Alya's here." Alya perked up at her voice. Ladybug placed her hand on her arm to hold her down. This was the moment they needed.

"Of course she'll fight against those stupid heroes, I've got her wrapped round my little finger. She actually still believes my sad story about Adrien cheating on me with Marinette, what an stupid bitch."

Ladybug turned her head quickly to look at Alya. She could see the girls eyes were filled with tears. Alya had not only believed the lies from a girl she was warned against by Nino, but also someone trying to hurt her best friend and her best friends soulmate. Ladybug and Chat Noir were destined to be, therefore so were Marinette and Adrien. It had all began to make so much sense. She'd almost ruined the greatest love of all.

"Send an akuma now and I'll make sure Set accepts it into his sceptre. Ladybug won't stand a chance."

Alya's hand grabbed Marinette's and tightened. She could tell Alya was scared but Marinette knew she could always call on Hugo in times of struggle, and she had her kitty. Nothing made her feel more invincible then having Chat Noir by her side.

Lila ended the call and headed out of the room. As the door opened a booming voice could be heard from downstairs.

"You will all remain her until you bring me Astarte, she is my Queen!"

Silence suddenly filled the room and Alya and Ladybug sat staring at each other.

"I'm so sorry." Alya said, hugging tightly onto her best friend and idol.

"Things happen." Marinette exclaimed. "But I need to know, are you with us or against us?"

"I promise I'm with you. It's the least I can do for my betrayal." Alya was heartbroken, why was she so trusting? It was causing her a lot of issues over the past couple of years and was definitely something she needed to work on.

The small fox kwami crawled out of Alya's bag and saw Ladybug.

"Master! I'm so glad to see you! They've been doing horrible things to me." Trixx rubbed her fluffy face up against Ladybug's cheek.

"I've missed you too, Trixx. But it's time to go into action." Ladybug turned to Alya, "can you remember all your training?"

"Of course LB."

"Then get prepared to fight."

"Trixx, let's pounce." As Alya's transformation was finishing, the boys returned into the room.

"Woah. I think I love you even more." Carapace walked over to Rena Rouge and took her in his arms. Ladybug and Chat Noir rolled their eyes as they began to discuss a plan.

"Mr Turtle, we'll be having words about your flirting later! Flirting with me when you've got a girlfriend." Rena Rouge crossed her arms over her chest and raised one eyebrow at Carapace.

"I'm just always attracted to you, your soul is like a magnet to me no matter how you look." He mumbled out quickly, willing himself to come up with a decent excuse. "Plus he does it all the time with her." He pointed over to Chat who currently had his arms around Ladybug.

"We're spiritual soulmates you dumbass! We're kinda stuck together." Adrien shouted over.

"And we're together in both forms you Ding-Bat." Ladybug finished off.

"Ding-bat! Really?" Chat Noir looked at Ladybug with his eyebrows raised.

"Oh shut up, you dumb feline. There's more important things to sort out at the moment and one is the Egyptian God downstairs who is after me in civilian form and is about to upgrade with an akuma!" Ladybug squealed out to the rest of her team. Sometimes she thought it would just be easier to work with the kwami's.

"What's the plan then M'lady?" Chat looked at her, face fully back to business. He would make her pay later for calling him a dumb feline, and he knew exactly how he was going to do it.

"Rena, we're going to need you to make an illusion of me as Marinette. Carapace you're going to protect me, well illusion me with your shield. Hopefully he'll truly believe that's me inside and try to break your shield down. As long as he doesn't pull any crazy shit we should be able to hold him off long enough so Chat and I can destroy and capture the akuma." Ladybug began to map out the details to the rest of her team. The positivity was there for this battle but she was feeling that she'd need more man power to win the war.

"What if Lila sees me?" The slight tremor in Alya's voice dropped Ladybugs guard. She wrapped her arms around her friend as Chat spoke.

"You play her at her own game. You lie. You lie like your life depends on it."

"And I believe in this case, it actually does." Carapace came to join the group hug, as did Chat.

"We'll head up onto the roof, you two head out the classroom door. Please try and keep hidden Alya. I don't want anything to happen to you." Chat Noir saluted to his friends and vaulted, along with his lady, onto the roof of the school with a clear view of the courtyard below.

They could see Set, or who they knew to be Victor, standing with a sceptre in the centre of the courtyard. He had red-hair and looked uncannily like a beast with a forked tail and cloven hooves. The rest of his body symbolised a mix of animals; a griffin, hippopotamus, crocodile, and tortoise. His face was distortedly long with a nose and mouth protruding from his face.

Ladybug and Chat Noir stood on the school roof watching the effect Set was having on the people around him. They watched at Sabrina attempted to step forward, using her new ranking as police deputy to put a stop to the creature causing terror amongst the party attendees. As she progressed towards Set he quickly flicked his akumatised sceptre in the direction of her sending a bright light out of the end. In the matter of seconds Sabrina had been turned into a unrecognisable mummy.

Chat about looked down and noticed a few more mummies wondering around the room.

"Looks like he's got the party under wraps, m'lady."

Ladybug looked over to him and raised one of her eyebrows.

"Really kitty?"

"Oh come on Bugaboo, you know you've missed the puns. I'm glad to bring them back for you." Ladybug started to laugh and slapped Chat around the back of the head.

"Be serious." She exclaimed.

"Ok ok, perhaps Nino can get some wrap music on to help us fight?" He smiled at Ladybug and she quickly sprung forward to give him a kiss on the lips.

"Let's do this."

The two heroes split to the different sides of the school roof. They didn't want to venture downstairs until the illusion and Carapace were in place. About five minutes later 'Marinette' came walking down the stairs with Carapace next to her. He'd covered her in a shield protecting her from the rays Set would most likely be sending in their direction.

"Astarte? What have they done to you? Come with me and I will turn you back to your former glory." Set and his mummy followers began to walk their way over to the shield. The former trying to find a way to get through it and grabbing Marinette.

Ladybug could see Rena safely hidden from Lila who was making her way to Set's side. This was the cue. Taking a deep breath Ladybug disengaged her yo-yo from her hip and sent it soaring into the sky, as it hooked onto a lamp she swung down into the centre of the courtyard. She landed only seconds before her partner in anti-crime was footed next to her.

"I think it's time you all relax and unwind." Chat Noir was spinning his staff at an almost identical speed to Ladybug's yo-yo. One thing was for sure, when they were going through a good patch together their fighting became a dance of choreographed movements.

"Of course the heroes would try and come and save little Marinette." Lila had made her way over to the duo. Chat swung his staff low, taking her feet out from underneath her. Darting forward and catching her before she hit the ground. Vaulting her out of the school and away from the fight. Hopefully she wouldn't be able to make it back in time to counter-attack himself and Ladybug. At the end of the day neither wanted to hurt a pregnant lady, including a pregnant Lila.

"So you're the bug that needs to be squashed?" Set stated, staring into Ladybugs eyes. There was no way she was letting this guy intimidate her, she swung her yo-yo towards his sceptre watching it wrap tightly just above his hand. As she pulled the wire back towards her, he counteracted the movement with more intensity, throwing her over his shoulder and into Carapace's shield.

"Hey Tutt, why don't you pick on someone your own size." Running at speed towards Set, Chat leapt into the air and grabbed hold onto Set's headpiece. Using all his strength he managed to throw Set over his head and halfway across the building.

Chat ran to Ladybug's aid as the mummies began to surround the shield.

"You ok?" He whispered as he pulled her up, bounding them both to safety.

"I'm fine, Chaton. I think it's time to see how my wings work." She jumped up into the air and opened her black ladybug wings. The acceleration for the wings was intense and Ladybug few quickly to where Set was regaining his stability. Before he could see her, Ladybug had grabbed hold of his Egyptian collar and flew higher into the sky.

Chat Noir met Ladybug's height with the extension of his pole staff, and kicked Set in the stomach. The God bent forward giving him chance to kick the sceptre out of his hands.

Ladybug retained her vice like hold on Set as he tried to break free to catch his sceptre. Unluckily for him, Chat had already reached it and called out his Cataclysm. Placing his right hand on the sceptre, a purple butterfly began to make its way into the sky.

Setting down next to Chat, ladybug de-evilised the akuma and sent for her Miraculous Ladybug. Suddenly a shriek was heard from behind them.

"LB, look out." As Ladybug turned around she was met with the scales of a crocodile. Rena had sprung down from where she was hiding and landed to the side of Ladybug, quickly creating an illusion of another Ladybug, next to her. Rena continued to repeat her illusions into one great line, at the same time as holding onto the illusion of Marinette. It seems her powers had intensified too.

The Ladybugs all began to move around confusing Set as to which was the real one. He swung his arms and tried to grab, but each disappeared in a cloud of smoke. This continued until he was stopped by his face hitting Chat's fist. Set fell backwards in a daze, trying to comprehend what just hit him.

"You're not the only God of Destruction! And as far as I'm aware, cats are honoured in Egypt, so watch out!" With a cat like growl Chat Noir leapt over the now de-transformed mummies and onto Set, pinning him against the floor and punching him with all his might, again and again and again! The God underneath him started to laugh.

"This kitties feisty. We're going to have some fun but not now."

Suddenly his original sceptre flew through the air and into Set's hand. Slamming it into Chat, he sent the hero and everyone within a four metre radius flying backwards. By good fortune, it was just the four heroes. A blanket of smoke covered the God still sprawled out on the floor and as it disappeared so did he.

"When this is finished," Chat Noir started, as he helped Ladybug up from the ground and onto her feet, "we're going on vacation."
